please sombody help me, apple support are no help, the shop are no help, the only thing i havent tried is delete everything on my laptop and put it back to factory, which is my very last resort

ISP.. modem??.. main router?? .. AE of some sort?? ..
Have you reboot all of this and start up in correct order.. exactly as pictured above in exactly the sequence.. left to right. 2min between each.
If you installed Yosemite on your MBP .. welcome to the club.. networking is pathetic.
Reset the PRAM and whatever else.. wireless.. can be a total pain on Yosemite.

Try updating your QuickTime to the most recent version. Does that clear up the DEP errors in iTunes?

TS1717 Why can I not start Itunes? I keep getting a message that it stopped working/was stopped because of DEP, and I can't get DEP off to launch itunes.

I have Itunes installed on my PC, but now I can no longer open it. If I open it, I get the same message each time: Itunes has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. As soon as I close that message by clicking on "Close Program" which is my only option, I get a second message stating that to help protect my computer, Data Execution Prevention has closed Itunes. So I read up on help section and attempted to turn off DEP for Itunes, but I get the message that I cannot turn it off for this program. I attempted to repair, uninstall, reinstall Itunes and I keep getting the same message. I also logged in as a guest on my computer as a site suggested and see if the problem exists there as well, it does, it gives me the same message. Please help!

I own a website and my customers download zipped files. Until yesterday everything worked great. All of the sudden they are getting a message that the file is invalid or corrupt. This does not happen in Chrome.

Up until yesterday (for the past 3 years to be exact) everything worked smoothly. I have not changed one thing on my site or cpanel. Now customers get an error that the file is invalid or corrupt when they try and download with firefox. The links work fine with chrome. Please tell me there is a solution. This is causing major trouble!!!

You can get a "Corrupted Content Error" error if there are multiple location redirects send via the HTTP response headers.

I Have seen people report this issue when they try to sync their devices but in never seen it when trying to restore an unresponsive iPad. I would sguggest trying recovery mode now.

This procedure will totally erase the iPad so I hope that you have a backup that you can restore from....assuming that it works, that is.

I have had my iphone 5 for 13 months now and have always had the same car charger (not an apple brand). I recently downloaded the latest software update and now all of a sudden i keep getting the message that my charger isnt supported by my device.

All of a sudden I am getting error message -42408 every time I open iTunes.

I have updated to the most recent version of iTunes and that didn't help. I can download iTunes items on my iPhone, but not my Mac. But I can see the iTunes store on my Mac. It just gives me an error and won't let me download anything OR let me sync my iPhone or iPad.

Installed itunes on xp but when started I get 'Data Execution Prevention' message

Have downloaded iTunes to XP but when i start the program all I get is an error text box with Data Execution Prevention message. We are running Firefox with AVG Anti Virus if this helps?

Yes, this did solve the problem. But I had some trouble updating QuickTime. It failed, with the installer complaining that it did not have the required permissions to install the files it needed in the program directory. I got it to work by telling it to install the files to another directory. All seems well now - Thanks!
