HT203167 all my previously purchased apps are gone.

I changed my apple id to my new email address and now when I go into "purchased" in iTunes, all my previously purchased apps are gone. And I can't download my previous purchased apps

yes, I just CHANGED the primary email.. and not the whole account...
in the settings
EDIT YOUR APPLE ID>>
Name,ID,Email Address>>Apple ID and Primary Email Address>>
EDIT PRIMARY EMAIL ADDRESS>>SAVE CHANGES
and I clearly remembered that I did not make a new account.

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one.  Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.

  • I am finding all the Apple TV apps are gone

I am finding all the Apple TV apps are disappeared except settings and computer. I have setup automatic software upgrade and I an am not sure if one of the auto upgrades went wrong. I have tried to restart and reset, but no luck. Any help is appreciated.

That means it is having trouble connecting to the network. Make sure location is set correctly. DNS should be set to automatic. Ensure router is up to date and reboot. If on wifi try ethernet.

  • IOS 5 Update on iPhone 4 - All Purchased Apps are GONE!

    Hi there,
I recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5 and upon updating all my apps downloaded and purchased were no longer on my iPhone. I then went to my iTunes account to reload all my purchased apps and they were no longer listed under my accounts previous purchases. Has anyone had this issue happen- what can I do? I've lost probably 50$ worth of apps now and I am somewhat dissapointed with that!
    Help?
    Chris

Likely you have to Apple ID's and the one your iPhone is logged in with is differtn than the iTunes account where your apps and content are located.

  • How do I sync my iPad with a new iTunes library without erasing all the previously purchased apps & data on my iPad?

I'm sure this is a common issue, and I've google-searched for solutions but I cannot find a straight forward answer anywhere. I really hope an expert here can help me out.
I purchased an iPad last year and synced it with my iTunes library on my old PC laptop. Well, my PC laptop harddrive crashed last week and I cannot access anything on my laptop anymore. I did not make a back-up for my PC harddrive either. I know, next time I should make a back-up and I will. But that's irrelevant. The PC is gone now.
I replaced my PC this week with a brand new Mac Book Pro. Excited about my new purchase, I quickly hooked up my iPad with the hopes of easily transferring and accessing my iPages, iNumbers, and other productivity iPad apps seamlessly to my new beautiful Mac Book Pro. But now I've run into the nightmarish dilemma of not being able to sync my beloved Ipad with my new MAC without getting the warning that basically says "your iPad is already synced with another iTunes Library. You may only sync to one iTunes Library at a time. You will lose all your data if you sync to this new computer."
Can someone give me a straightfoward answer as to how I can sync my iPad with my new iTunes Library on my new Mac Book Pro without losing any of the apps that I previously purchased? I want to be able to access the apps I downloaded on my iPad on my Mac Book Pro.
    Thanks so much!!!!!!

While it isn't as easy to just use a Mac iDevice as media storage as Android and Windows, you can add documents and such like Word, PDF and others manually in iTunes to have them sync as well.

  • HT201272 I just bought a new iPad. When I tap on Purchase in the App store I see all my previously purchased apps each with a little box that says open. There is no download cloud. How do I get these apps onto my home screen?

I just bought a new iPad and the apps I had previously purchased are in the app store under Purchased. They appear with a little box that says "Open". There is no download cloud so I can't click on them to download the apps to my home screen. Is there a way to move these apps to my home screen?

If they have 'open' next to them then that implies that they are already on your iPad - if you tap on the 'open' button does that open the app ? If it does then they are on your iPad. You've checked all your homescreens and tried a soft-reset to see if they show after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • Previously purchased apps are not listed in the app store app on my new iphone 5.

My husband's new iphone 5 was set up at the apple store.  His apps are on the phone, but some don't work.  For example, his Navigon app was there, but wouldn't work.  So, he uninstalled it.  When he tried to reinstall the app, the app store did not list it as previously purchased.  In fact, most of his apps were missing from the list.  He was able to install it by connecting to the computer, but it still doesn't show up on his app store list.  This could be a problem if he needed to download something when he's away from home.  Today he purchased two songs on itunes.  They show on the computer, but wouldn't download to his iphone.  Somehow, itunes is not recognizing his new iphone as an authorized device.  What can we do?

Be sure the phone is sign into the Apple ID used to purchase these apps in Settings>iTunes & App Stores.  Otherwise the past purchases will not appear.

  • Deauthorized All computers, 80% of apps are gone!?!?

I recently got a new work computer and I installed iTunes to sync with my iPhone. When I pulled it in it stated that I had no authorized computers left. I didn't see an option to deauthorize individual computers only all computers. So I did that and pulled my iPhone in, clicked through a few messages, and then sync'd. The only issue is that 80% of the apps I DL'd are not gone. There are only a few I really care about as they were paid apps. I went to the store to redownload but it asks me to pay for them again.
Checked the itunes media folder for the .ipa files but only a select few were there.
What can I do??? Please let me know and thanks for the help!

  • I have upgraded to OS7.1, all my recently purchased apps are no longer there. Why is this ?

I recently bought a bunch of music apps. I jet updated to OS 7.12. They are available to re download from the app store, but not on the main iPad desktop as before.
Is there a way to stop this happening again?
    Thanks

For some reason, it would appear that the device did a restore as part of the upgrade, and the backup it restored from was not up to date. How much free space did you have when you upgraded?
If upgrading Over The Air, make sure you have backed up the device explicitly onto the iCloud before commencing.
Or better, do all future upgrades using iTunes on a computer, and setting the backup to be stored locally. iTunes will always do a backup before munging with an iGadget's guts, and storing it locally speeds up the process immensely, both then doing the back up as well as when restoring (if needed).

  • Some how do not enter sign was added beside contact, now all messages previously received messages are gone and no new messages from this sender will appear.

I have been receiving messages from this sender fine and then all of a sudden for some reason there was a do not enter sign beside her name. I didn't know how or why it got there, some button got bumped or the mouse, and I didn't know how to take it off so I just left it. Since then, thunderbird has been reopened and all messages that I had received have disappeared and no new messages from this sender appear even though I know she has sent them to me. I have checked into filters and I have none set so it is not that. I can't figure out how the do not enter sign got beside the contact, but I'm sure it's the reason for my problems and I don't know how to fix it. Thanks

  • Crash during sync, now all my apps are gone.

My laptop and iphone crashed during a sync. Laptop would lock up as soon as the phone was plugged in, and the phone started random reboots and freezes.
I reinstalled WinXP and itunes on the laptop, but still could not sync. The phone would come up "sync in progress", but then nothing happened. Left it sit overnight, and sync still would never complete.
Restored the phone to factory settings, and now everything seems fine. Only problem is that all of my downloaded apps are gone. I can see the history where I purchased them in the itunes store but they are not in itunes. If I try to reload them it wants me to pay for them again. Is there any way to recover previously purchased apps?

You can re-download purchased apps for free. Click on buy, click yes to I want to purchase, another popup will appear, you have already purchased, do you want to re-download, click yes.

  • IOS update to 5.1 now all purchased apps are missing

I just completed the iOS update on my husband's phone & all of his purchased apps are missing.  They are not in his phone, nor are they in iTunes despite a previous back up.  Where are they & how do I restore them?

As long as the apps are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . If you download them to your computer's iTunes you could then try restoring to your backup and see if that restores them and their settings/content - a backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content/settings, so for the restore to work fully iTunes needs access to the apps so that it can restore them.

  • How can I see the previously purchased Apps after changing region?

I recently changed the the region of my Apple ID and now none of the previously purchased apps are showing up in Purchased info even if I delete and download them again. Before I changed the region I downloaded the free app called Constellation on my iPad, but upgraded it to Pro after changing region. Now when I installed it to my iPhone, it doesn't have the Pro license and asks me to buy it again.

once you connect the new iPhone, iTunes should ask you if you want to restore the backup of your old one. you can also redownload your purchased app over and over free of charge: How to redownload purchased apps from the App Store

  • New Hard Drive - purchased iTunes are gone

Recently i had to have my hard drive replaced.. the guys from Best Buy's Geek Squad managed to salvage "my documents," which contained my iTunes music folder. When i transferred all the data to my new hard drive, the only music files that were on there were the ones i had transferred directly from cd.. all of my purchased iTunes are GONE.
Is there a way to get them back? I'm missing about 800 songs!! ..and there's NO WAY i'm paying for them all over again.
    Someone PLEASE help!!
    Thanks.
    Nicole.

If you have the My Music Folder, they should be there in your play list. Are you saying that these songs are not there? I thought that all songs get put into this folder. I would suggest looking again under compilations, etc. Secondly, there are some things that can be done to recover these songs from your iPod, but I don't have any experience in this and have no idea how to recommend that. You might try a Google for some help with this. Finally, buy a second HDD to back up your current HDD. It is absolutely critical. Best of luck!
