I just purchased a Bible App and downloaded it to iTunes but it won't sync to my iPhone. Can someone help me with this?

If it's no longer in the store then you can't re-download it (you don't have a copy of it on a backup ?). Does it not show in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes (re-downloading) ? And it's not hidden from your purchased list (hiding and unhiding purchases) ?

You will need to contact the developer of the app and ask if that is possible. If not, you'll need to look for another app that doesn't require a network connection to function.

I just purchased a Scourby Bible App for my brother's iphone 4. He went through itunes and redeemed it. The app is on his screen, but says "waiting". What does this mean? What is the next step to open the app? Thanks for your help.

Make sure you are connected to a strong Wifi network
Go to the home screen
Press and hold the app til it starts to shake.
Tap the minus sign in the red circle that shows up in the corner of the app
Go back to the App Store and tap Updates at the bottom
Select Purchased and redownload the app that you purchased

I bought iNet - Network Scanner and after a iPhone restore I can only get the free version back on my phone.
How do I download the app I have already paid for? Should I lose an app because I need to restore I don't think so, this is completely wrong. I paid for this app and would like to be using it still. I have always backed up me iPhone and also restored it and still don't have the full functioanlity of this app, there maybe others. If I have to pay for it again then these companies are getting money for nothing which is the same as stealing from there own customers.
If anyone has any idea how to download this I would like to hear about it. I have of course tried using the Purchased link in iTunes Store but this doesn't help.

It has always been very basic to ALWAYS backup your content. Did you fail to do the basics and backup your purchases.

A have a Bible app that won't open. How do I open it?

Until today, the app opened without a problem. I went to the "store" and now it won't reopen.

Delete the app and then redownload.

My App Store icon is missing from ipad and won't re-install? You can't delete it so where is it?

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

although i have the app on my computer and my ipad. itunes says that i haven't puchased it and therefore won't allow me to upgrade. (if i locate it in the store it asks me to buy it). I have the reciept. whats going on?

That's exactly my point, I DO have the receipt, I also used the same apple ID (I only have one), that's why I think it totally doesn't make sense why it doesn't recognize it as a purchased app.
I tried clicking the "Report a problem" link several times but it just redirects me to a blank white page that says "frostycup=1".??? Trying this on the ipad and on the PC got me the same result of "frostycup=1".
I tried it again this morning and finally got redirected to an apple support site page, but it just prompted me to click "done" with the details of the app purchase, but it didn't ask what the problem was. Anyway,
went ahead and "reported" the problem already via Apple about 2 hours ago (I don't know if it's really reporting, as they didn't ask what the actual problem was).
No response so far (email or otherwise). No advise after clicking on the "done" on what's supposed to happen next or how long before they give me a feedback.
Should I just wait?

Last night I did an in app purchase the amount was taken from a gift card I had but it never showed up so I tried to re download it and still didn't show up so I hit purchase it again ant this time I got this message " you already purchased this but it hasn't been downloaded" I uninstalled then reinstalled it and still the same problem can I get a refund? Or is there any other way to resolve this

Contacting the iTunes Store can be done by going to - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/. At the bottom left, you will see a "contact support" link. Just select it, then select "iTunes Store", and follow the on screen instructions. The final screen will give you an option to "email, chat or call" them. You may see one, two or all these options, however it changes depending on what they have available at the time of contact.

I just recently upgraded from an iphone 4 to a 4S. While setting up the new phone I lost 60 apps. I found about 20 in the trash and was able to restore them. Itunes still can't find the rest and neither can I. I tried to re-download them but I can't because they show as already downloaded. HELP!

If you still have the 'pointers' to them on your computer's iTunes then it assumes that you still have them somewhere - try deleting one of the 'pointers' from the Apps part of your iTunes library and then see if you can re-download it, and if you can then do the same for the others.

In "storage", it says that apps take up 290 gB. What's going on?

Hey guys, I was was recently checking my storage on my MacBook Air 13" (not retina) and saw that the "applications" were taking up over 290 gB of storage; 296.28 gB to be exact. The computer doesn't even hold that much flash storage... What's going on? I purchased it in December. It was an open box one at Best Buy because there was a chip near the hinge. It has the traditional 4gB of RAM, OX Yosemite, with a 1.4 GHz intel core i5. I've only downloaded a couple apps, such as League of Legends, Audacity, and the Olive Tree Bible app. That's it...
I'd appreciate it if you can help!
