We bought The Hunger Games blu-ray and digital copy today. My daughter put the digital copy in her iTunes, iTunes crashed before any chance at backup and the digital copy is no longer there and we can't use the code again. How can we get the digital copy???
Turns out it was a silly error. Problem resolved.

How to get Movies from iTunes to iPad (Not setup on computer)
I have a movie in iTunes that I want to transfer to an iPad.
The iPad was not setup on my current machine (or not setup using a computer at all, I can't recall), so when I connect, it asks to restore from my last iPhone backup, or setup as new. The iPad is only backed up on iCloud.

Thanks in advance.If you purchased the TV. shows from iTunes, they are compatible with the iPad and there is no reason why they shouldn't work. Did you try syncing them to the iPad from iTunes on your computer?

In iTunes 11, in order to see the device in the left sidebar, go to View>Show Sidebar from the iTunes menu at the top of the screen - if the sidebar isn't already visible. -

If your media is in the iTunes library on your computer, just sync your iPod with your computer using iTunes. Everything will be restored.

How to get iPhoto back in order after recall? Is rebuilding your photo-library dangerous?
I recently had my iMac recalled, and when I got it back, about a quarter of my 62,000 photos only show the thumbnail vies. When I try to enter them to edit them, I get a black exclamtion point within a white circle and no access. I called support and did the 6 steps to rebuild. No results so far.
My back-up is questionable beucase as the comupter hard-drive was dying, it stopping backing up the exteral hard-drive 4 months prior to the actual recall when they replaced my hard-drive.
SO . . . I spent 20 hours putting every **** photo on DVD's before the recall to make sure I didn't lose them. Now I can reload the photos from the DVD's and the photos are all there and normal. However it is time consuming.
THE QUESTION IS - SHOULD I DO THE MAJOR REBUILD WITH APPLE SUPPORT, OR CONTINUE TO RELOAD FROM MY DVD'S?Thanks OT,
I did the list of repairs APPLE support gave me, but I do not believe it included thte Option+Command launch. Is that a full rebuild that risking losing my organization (books, slideshows, etc)?
I do have two external hard drives which I alternate every few months in case of fire, and which are connected (one at a time) with time machine. Apparently during the internal hard drive failure I missed that the external backups stopped working, and the faulty hard drive would not let me back up when I tried before the recall. NOW my backup works, but it is backing up the faulty data! If I use the old back up I lose 4 months of data, if I use the new I have the fautly data. I think I am back to reloading with the DVD's I made. By the way, I made them becuase I had a computer AND it's external hard drive fail beyond repair 4 years ago. At that time I was able to rebuild my photo library from discs becuase I had made a CD or DVD of every project as I downloaded it from the camera. Heres to backing yourself up in multiply ways!

How to get apps back on iphone after update to IOS 5?
I just updated my iphone 3GS to IOS 5. I can see that my phone updated, but my apps, which were backed up on my PC, but did not reload to iphone. When I sync, nothing happens. Tried turning on and off my phone, loaded an app on the phone from the App Store, hoping one of these would help, but no change. Thanks for any help.
Thanks for the quick response. I see that now and can/will install one by one. I hadn't seen that before, and thought there was an easier way to get all of my apps back, but this will work.

After updating to FCPX 10.1.1 my shape mask starts waaaay off screen. Too far for me even to grab the center fully zoomed out. My friends mac had the same problem after the update. Anyone have an idea on what to do? Thanks

HT203167 How do I find music that disappeared after home sharing downloads.
I try to play a song from my list, and get an exclamation point, and the message: "The song “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" I click LOCATE, and my finder comes up, but the music is not there. (I can, however, find the music I downloaded from the home sharing, just not my extensive library that was originally there.) Have read every article on finding lost music, but nothing helps. Anyone out there have ideas? Many thanks.

It sounds like not all your purchases transferred to your computer before your restored your iPod touch. I found an article with some steps to download your past iTunes purchases. Apple's policy on sales of digital content is that all sales are final. If however you wish to appeal to Apple, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer. -
Okay i had to install Itunes onto my new OS because window's Vista messed up on me and i can't get any of my old purchases back from my account such as music and movies any ideas on how to get them back (i do not have the folder that contains old items from the last itunes or anything from that OS because it had a virus and i just wanted windows 7)

You have a backup of your computer, or at the very least of your iTunes media, correct?
Simply copy your backup of your iTunes media into the iTunes library on your new computer.
Connecting and syncing your device to the new computer without first recovering your iTunes media is a really, really, really bad idea. iDevices are designed to ONLY sync with one computer. When you plug your device into a new computer, it will wipe all media on the device when it syncs. The only media you may be able to salvage and transfer to the new computer would be anything bought directly on the device.
If you do not have a backup of your iTunes media, then you will want to either look at a way (using software from a third party company) to either extract the media from you iDevice or your old computer (assuming the hard drive is not toast). -

If you must. You can open a new iTunes Store account in the country you are from. In iTunes scroll down and change the country flag icon to your country and registry. If you don't have a credit card from your home country you can use gift cards instead.

The App store is a iOS function and cannot be deleted. Try checking other home screens/folders and see if you can locate it. If not, go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

I had purchased an audio book from itunes on my iPad and when I synced my iPad with my computer, my audiobook disappeared. I have already purchased this audiobook, so now I just need to know how to get it back because it is not on iPad anymore. I don't think the audiobook was backed up to icloud but I have the receipt to prove I purchased it. Is there anyway I can get it back?

You can. Why do you think you cannot?
If you purchased it on your ipad, then you would have to transfer it to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.
You can then listen to it on your computer.
