I cannot believe that apple is refusing to help a customer who bought and paid for iWork software just because I bought it from the retail store the App Store says they cannot allow me to upgrade. I have never heard of such. It should to matter where I got it i bought apples software and I don't et how the retail store can be different frothe App Store my god its all still apple. So stupid. I will not pay full price for the upgrade. Also I purchased Logic Studio and 2 days later the upgrade came out and they will not let u upgrade ? iWork '08 & 09 installed from the retail disk or from the downloaded trial must be updated through Software Update. Those installations will not be recognized as installed by the Mac App Store. In Mountain Lion Software Update has been "rolled into" the Mac App Store. Choose Software Update from the Apple menu just like you always have & the Mac App Store will launch. Depending on what you have that needs updating you may see two sections in the MAS window.
But, as always, if you're not running the latest versions of the iWork apps installed from a retail box or the downloaded trial & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. If you installed from the downloaded trial or the retail box, they must be in the iWork '08 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '08. If it doesn't have the '08 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work.
If you are running Pages 3.0.3, then you do have the latest version of Pages from iWork '08. If you want to upgrade to iWork '09, you will need to purchase the new version, just like everyone else. The good news is that you can buy just the individual iWork apps - Keynote, Pages & Numbers - that you need or want for $20 US each from the Mac App Store & then install them on as many Macs as you need using the same Apple ID.

If it sounds like a RAM issue it could be one of the RAM chips has failed. You could try removing the RAM one at a time and see if it starts with one still installed.

Have you tried a hard reset of your iPod yet? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If that doesn't work, are you still connected to a network? Either way try connecting to a different one and downloading another FREE app to see if that helps.

I just got my new Macbok 15" Retina with Superdrive. It is taken over 4 hours to install Logic Pro and I still have 5 discs to go. What is going on here!?!?

Anyone know what is going on here? Why does a brand new product work so slow, even slower than my year old Macbook Pro 15" ?
It's a faster Ghz and more Ram with SSD...is there something wrong with the Superdrive?

Apps on AppStore won't update apps. Everytime I hit update on one of the apps, it opens up that certain app and doesn't update it. Any ideas on what's going on?

The apps on my AppStore won't update. It gives me the notification on the App Store on the app, and when I check it and hit update, it just opens up the app. none of the apps will update because all they will do is just open the app. anyone know what to do?

As you can see when I go to my Updates page in the App Store, as an example you can see that Facebook shows an Update button. However, it's already updated and when I click update it simply opens FB.
If I open the App Store and search for Facebook, it shows the Open button next to it. This Updates page has a major bug.
And why does Chrome and Vevo still show up under the Updates page? Shouldnt they be under the Purchased section?

I was researching the issue you are having and recommend a couple of things. First it might be a good idea to reset the device following iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't quite get the device going again, I recommend restoring the device.

Might even be a good idea to turn off the phone, reseat the SIM card, and turn it back on.

Answers can only be as helpful as the details provided, and there is very little hear to go on. What happens when you try to connect? Is there an error? If so what does it say. How are the devices connected? WiFi, Ethernet? Which ver of ATV do you have? Best guess is that you are using WiFi and the probably go away if you use a wired connection to ATV.
