I'm trying to get my ringtones that i purchased on my old iPhone onto my new one that I just got. They r in my history and when I click on them it says you have already purchased them, would you like to buy them again in order to download them. I did it with one already and I now need help so I don't have to buy them again. Can u help get them back please

Ringtones are currently a one-time only download from the store. If you don't have them on your computer nor on a backup then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I have a new iPhone that is just hours old...

I have a new iPhone that is just hours old. I can't connect via wifi. I know the telecom provider is still 2 days away from connecting an all my devices are connected via the same wi fi including this iPad. What could the problem be.?

Also noted that my IP address is different and I don't have any Router and DNS numbers in these fields.

This "original file cannot be found" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Connect your device to iTunes and in the the window were all the apps are greyed out make sure the 'Sync Apps' checkbox (top left corner) is selected.

HT1296 i want to sync my itunes to a new iphone that has been restored from a backup on my old one, how di i only sync the music without erasing everything else like contacts and messages?

Only iTunes content and photos transferred from another computer is affected when transferring iTunes content and photos from a different computer. Contacts aren't touched unless you choose to sync contacts with a supported address book app. Messages aren't included with the iTunes sync process and the same for photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll.

New 4s. Adjusted all ringtones by contact and now they are all showing as "multiple ringtones" for each contact. Help!

I had this problem due to Linked contact cards so that each contact was composed of more than one entry. Apparently the Contacts list can get corupted and have more entries than you think. I found the answer in the Linked /Unknown discussion on this community. My reply that I poste dthere fixed the problem.

I had a problem where I could not get the assigned ringtone to ring correctly. Tried removing and restoring the contacts from MobileMe several times and resetting sync to copy the computer contacts to replace the MobileMe contact. Still no luck. Then I looked at the All Contacts number and it was larger than the total number in my Contacts list on the computer. So there were extras I couldn't see. When I turned off the MobileMe Contacts, some where still left anyway.
I then tried to cleanup the list by looking for hidden contacts. I tried the contacts "cleaner app" I had, called Group, which removes duplicates, but it did not find anything. Then I tried your recommended Cleanup app (seach in App Store for Cleanup), and, lo and behold, it found a lot of contacts that should not have been there still. Cleanup removed them all, leaving the list squeaky clean.
Then I turned on MobileMe Contacts again, and after the Contacts list populated, the number agreed with the number on my computer. And the switching of assigned ringtones now works correctly.
So, I basically did what you recommended, but since I am not using iCloud to sync, since I haven't switched to Lion, I did the same thing using MobileMe.

HT1937 My new iphone 5 was just unlocked from telstra and now won't recognize my sim, just says SOS only??

I bought an iphone 5 off a lady yesterday brand new in the box. It was locked to telstra so this morning i rung up and had it unlocked. Itunes sent the congradulations your phone is now unlocked message, and my phone gave me the option to update carrier settings, i clicked agree.
I've put my virgin mobile sim in and all it says is "SOS only' .

Have you logged into iTunes and set the computer to sync with the phone.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

Well basicly, i have purcahsed some tracks from years ago, via itunes, and was on my account the other day and noticed there was about 150 odd songs that were 'hidden in the cloud' so what i did was unhide them expecting them to then appear in the main iTunes Liblary (with the little cloud symbol in the corner of the album cover) enabling me to download them play them sync them, etc etc?
Well currenty i have nothing, i still cant seem to find any of these tracks/videos unless i am in my apple accont. I'm usually good with these sorts of things and can figure it out, but i have been looking for a soloution or option for a a few hours now. so i come here.
Any suggestsions on how to view this once hidded items?

HT201272 I am missing parts of songs downloaded from itunes.they are in my purchased section but not in the artists folder.they play for the first part but do not complete the track

For the last few downloads the albums have been incomplete.most of the tracks are ok, but two or three tracks start ok but do not finish ,stopping after an short part and then going on to the next track. the songs are complete when i check them in the purchased section, but are incomplete in the album folder.

I have no way of following all of those steps successfully since I am about butterfingered a sthe last dinosaur and will make every mistake in the world and get frustrated with something that SHOULD be simple.
I have the three disk autobook showing in iTunes library as one title , I had to enter the dat amyself since it was not listed on the internet data base, All entries for all tracks match and I have indicated the disk number as one, two or three of three as indicated.
Yet when I sync the iTunes to the iPod I am being presented with each individual track listed in the Audiobook Menu.
I am using the latest version of iTunes and a iPod Classic 160G-- that I purchased three days ago purposefully for the converting of the audiobooks to a portable device since the Library of Congress ( NLS BARD ) books are formatted differently and the player is bulky.
Does anybody hav eany other ideas?
Does anybody have an e-mail address for Apple, preferably iTunes folks?
This is a handicap accessability problem since my wife cannot see and depends on these audio books.
