HT203167 I lost three movies in a computer crash.Is there any possible way to redownload them?
I had three movies but last year I had a disagreement with my Pc and lost them on my iPad and pc. I started looking for ways to redownload them with no success and decided to turn to the message board six months later. Is there any way I can get these back without having to purchase them again? Any help is appreciated.
Yes, there is. Go to iCloud.com and then sign in with your Apple ID. There will be an app called "Photos" in the fourth slot, with a little yellow flag that says "Beta" in the top right. Click on this, and you will see all your photos that have been automatically backed up to iCloud, the ones that appear in the "My Photo Stream" section of your camera roll. Hope this helped!

I recently bought a macbook and im trying yo sync all my 2600 photos to it but my phone is synced to another computer in another country which i cant access!! Will i loose all my photos or is there any other way of keeping them and uploading to my new mac?????

I am receiving excel files, which I need to convert with my macbook pro...I did this with export, but the file I got didnt show graphs as it should...can you help...do I need to buy excel for Apple computer, or is there any easier way of dealing with it..does App "Numbers" help here?
Numbers should be able to read Excel files without any problems. If Numbers does not read the graphics properly then you can try Excel Online. https://office.live.com/start/Excel.aspx

Lost work on pages when computer crashed...any way to retrieve data
My granddaughter had spent three days on a written report on PAGES. She was doing other things on the computer, probably listening to music, which made her computer crash. Hi,
If the machine's linked to iCloud, the document could possibly have saved it itself to iCloud prior to the machine crashing, although I cannot guarantee this as I'm not entirely sure if Pages for Mac implements this feature, however on iOS devices it automatically saves whilst you work.
Head over to iCloud.com and sign in to see if there's anything there under the Pages app.

Is there any possible way to retrieve a lost file?
I have a MacBook Pro. I have been creating graphics with Flash, and the program shut down. Then it showed a recovered file, so I started to work in that. Then that disappeared and there is no trace of it. Is there ANYWHERE I might still retrieve it?

Will this info let me find the file, or some version of it?search for fla files.
if you have a working swf, you may be able to decompile it and create a working fla.
and, if you find even a corrupt fla, don't delete it. you may still be able to extract, at least, some of your assets. -

I have cs4 installed on my old computer, i have since lost the disk and serial #s. Is there any way to recover this information and install the programs on my new computer? I used my old computer for college and haven't used it in awhile, now I have a job that can benefit from having those programs. Lost Fireworks cs3 due to computer crash
I have the serial number for Fireworks cs3. I lost my software when my computer crashed. Is there a way to download this software to a new computer without having to pay for it again?
Thanks, MikeOK I did some reading and found out maybe the .exe extention got dropped off when downloading. I clicked on properties for the file and found out it still had the .exe. I noticed that the a block and unblock key. I unblocked the fill and it downloaded the fireworks cs3 and everything worked ok. At the end it said to restart my pc. When it restarted the screen was black but I could see the mouse pointer. The screen is ok because when I shut the pc down manually my wall paper and desk top icons appeared for a second before shuting down.
Do you think I got a virus from that download?

Hard drive crashed, replaced. Downloaded iTunes again, but now I can't get to my apps, music, movies, etc from computer through iTunes. Any help?

I have just updated my software on my iPhone 4S to IOS7.0.4 now I have lost many of my contacts. Can anyone suggest an easy way to reinstate them. (Without having to add them all again as I don't know what I have lost until I need it).
Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

I Tunes has lost quite a large proportion of my music library. I think this may have happened when I tried to download a previous version of ITunes that failed to load. Whatever, the music is still on my IPod. Is there anyway files on an Ipod can be transferred back into ITunes? Or is there any other way I can try to recover my music files? Also, I no longer have any confidence in ITunes ability to store data efficiently and wonder if there is any way I can back up my IPod outside ITunes?
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Media syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

You restored your iPhone with iTunes from the backup for your iPod Touch?
If so, photos/videos that were in your iPhone's Camera Roll should have been imported by your computer before doing this. You could then transfer these photos/videos back to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process.
