HT203167 I purchased music and it is not on itunes or my library. How can I get them back?
I purchased several songs from itunes and they are missing from the itunes. They are listed in my library, but the song says it cant find the file? how can I get it back? Some of my songs are compledtely missing??? Please help!!!
It does not magically appear in a new place. It will only be where you put it.
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

They aren't there because you didn't transfer them.

In future do not rely upon being able to download again. The policy could be discontinued without notice and then you'd be in a mess. Even now you still can't redownload everything. Transfer properly next time and make backups. -
My computer has been stolen and I don't have af back-up, and all my pitures are on my apple TV - how can I get them back to my new PC?

You can't unless (assuming you have the Apple TV 1) you remove the drive and connect it to a computer. -
I baught a ringtone a few months back and I just now got a iPhone again but I can't find that ringtone and its not on iTunes any more either how can I get it back

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. have you tried a hard reset, if not try this
it doesn't matter whether the phone is on or not to start with
Press-hold the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously.
Continue holding both buttons (Ignore the "Slide to power off") until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart.
You may let go when you see the silver Apple logo.
You have completed a hard reset successfully. -

Thanks, but I checked iCloud and it has none of them.
If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it. -
Music and videos on my ipod lost after synchronizing...can I get them back?
First of all, I was looking on another site "answers" about how to copy music on my ipod touch with
out erasing the current music which are on it...
I did as instructed to copy them manually.....checked my ipod to see.....
All the music I copied were there but the original videos, music, pictures have been deleted...info (like pictures videos from another ipod touch were put in place...

All the email (over 75) I had imported into my iMac from my PC and which were stored under ON MY MAC in mail have disappeared. They were there for a year. The number 75 appears behind the word "import" but there is nothing there. How can I find them?

Illustrator is not picking up my shapes library, how can I get them syncing properly?
I'm using my iphone 5s to take vector images and them which should then save them directly to my cloub library but I cant find them anywhere and there are no libraries showing at all in my illustrator CC. Any suggestions?
For myself, I would like the 'shape' to be accessible on my iPhone, not the Cloud library. Then upload from the portable device onto the desktop via USB or iTune sync.
My internet speed is far too slow to access the Cloud. Just launching Illustrator takes forever when connecting to the internet because all the jaja that wants to load infront of Illustrator. My Cloud library is 'unable to connect to server'.
What a waist - to capture a photo on your phone and not being able to access it. Might as well just take a regular photo, import into Illustartor and trace it. It is the photo that I want, but I used the Adobe Shape app to 'lock' it from my use. -
I originally had two libraries in iPhoto, my wife and I share two iMacs at different locations but we wanted to share the photos and it was set up this way Apple Geniuses at the store I have no idea why. Anyway, I updated to OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.3 with the new 'photos' app. It asked me to choose one of the libraries and evidently I assume I must have chosen the wrong one. It only imported 322 random photos, not the 10,000+ we had in iPhoto. I can no longer find these photos or the other library anywhere, it appears to have been deleted. I have tried 'alt' clicking the icon which used to open a 'choose library' box, but this no longer works in photos or iPhoto. I have no idea where it has gone and it contains precious memories over the years including the birth of our children. Can someone please help???

Since you are sharing it between two Macs, is the library on an external drive or a NAS, or another remotely mounted volume?
If the library is not on a directly connected disk, formatted MacOS Extended, move the original iPhoto Library to a directly connected, correctly disk.
And the try first the iPhoto Library First Aid Tools on that library. Repair the permissions, and repair the database in iPhoto. Then try to migrate again to Photos.
To repair hold down the alt/option and the command key simultaneously while double clicking the iPhoto Library to launch the iPhoto Library First Aid tools. Hold down both keys firmly and long enough, until the First Aid panel will appear.
The select "Repair Permissions". And then repeat, but select "Repair Database"
But make a current backup of your iPhoto Library before you try this. -
Firefox deleted all of my saved usernames and passwords for the sites i allowed them, For instance I can no longer click gmail and be at my e-mail and see my email, but i am promoted for password and username.

Did you have them after updating Firefox, or did you lose your passwords as well. If you lost everything you either created a new profile and are in it, or you accidentally/intentionally cleared your history (see picture link). If you cleared your history, the changes are permanent and they are gone.
If you cleared your history, except for bookmarks in backups, you will have to try for
#Data in an older profile, for most people this would only be if one accidentally created a new profile, such as during a Firefox installation.

#Old password, cookies from Internet Explorer
Use the "Alt" key to temporarily see your toolbars. Use the view menu to display any toolbars that should be displayed, such as the Bookmarks Toolbar.
Check these:
*Do you have bookmarks Ctrl+B (Bookmarks sidebar), if you don't see your own bookmarks but you see those from when you first installed Firefox, you are probably in a new profile, using the Profile Manager could bring up another profile.

When you backup all of your user data to external hard-drive (500GB to 3TB) your Firefox profiles would be included.

After restoring my iPad, the App stre and iTunes are no longer on my iPad. Has anyone else had this problem?
You cannot delete the preinstalled apps.
Swipe from screen to screen to look for them.
Check Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure that they are not restricted.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.
