I recently purchased several songs from iTunes about a week ago. 5 of those songs will not download. I have tried turnning my phone off and I continue to get a notice stating the song is unable to download. Any suggestions?

    Hi Aloha Imagery,
Welcome to the Support Communities!  With iTunes 12, you do have the ability to download all of your purchased songs at one time.  Click on the link below for step-by-step instructions from the iTunes User Guide.
    http://help.apple.com/itunes/mac/12/#/itns36a8f323
Download previous iTunes Store purchases to an authorized computer
Click your name to the left of the Search field and choose Purchased. If you don’t see your name, click Sign In.
In the page that appears, select a category.
iTunes shows you which of your purchases are available for download. You can view all of your past purchases, or just the ones not currently in your iTunes library. Items already in your library aren’t available for download.
If you select Music, you can view your purchases by song, artist, or album. If you’re viewing by album, click an album to see which songs on it are available for downloading.
To search for an item, type its name or a keyword in the search field, and then press the Return key to view your search results.
To download an item, click its Download button .
To download all available items, click Download All.
The download All button is at the bottom-right corner of your screen:
    Play on! :)

  • Unable to download purchased songs.

Today, I purchased 5 songs and 1 video from iTunes. 3 of the songs downloaded giving me an "error (-50)" message. Then, the video downloaded perfectly fine. And then, the remaining 2 songs gave me an "error (-50)" message again. I looked on the support, but the only article that applies to "error (-50) has to do with videos, and the steps didn't help me at all. In fact, they recommended I go somewhere- to the "downloads" file in MyMusic/iTunes/iTunesMusic, but I couldn't locate a "downloads" file. What's wrong?

    Go to \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\Downloads\
Delete the Downloads folder (not a Downloads file).
If you cannot locate it, right clickon th eiTUNes folder and Search for "Downloads".
After you delete it, check for purchases again.

  • Why is iTunes unable to download the songs I purchased?

I just bought 5 songs. One of the five downloaded to my iPod with no problem. The other four however, aren't downloading. It says "Download error. Tap to retry." Every time I retry, it gives me the same error. This is really frustrating.

The product is online and accessible via the web site.  It was accessed via an email connection.

  • ITunes will not download purchased songs on an authorised computer.

    Hey there,
I bought a few songs on my laptop through iTunes around a year ago. Since then, my laptop has been wiped and a new OS has been installed. I went to authorise my computer, but it said it was already authorised. I have not reached my maximum five limit.
I have no option to view my purchases. I can see my download history on my account, but the usual option that appears on left hand side, unde the store and other playlists is not there.
If anyone could help me out, I would be really happy. Some great songs I want to listen to again!
    Many thanks, Max

You may want to contact the iTunes Store and give them your facts. They may allow a second download. It is worth a try. You can contact them here:

  • Unable to download new songs from iTunes

I have iTunes 7.6.2 and when I plug in my iPod I get 'syncing' then 'its ok to disconnect' message and I'm unable to download new songs I just bought. I tried this on 2 computers and the same results. One is running XP Pro SP1 and one is running Vista SP1 and the same issue with both pc's.
    Any suggestions?

iOS 6 (which runs on the iPhone 5) requires iTunes 10.7, which requires OS X 10.6.8 or higher.
Upgrade OS X on your Mac.

  • HT1725 Unable to download purchased audiobook. The book says it was downloaded. Can't get to spot from iTunes to insert password. Please help!

    Please help?

    Your question/statement makes no sense.
"Unable to download purchased audiobook. The book says it was downloaded" What book is saying this? Is the audiobook talking to you?
"Can't get to spot from iTunes to insert password" This makes no sense to me either.
If you are trying to download a previously purchased audiobook, you can't do that. You get one download of an Audiobook and then you must purchase it again if you delete it or do not have it in your iTunes library to sync back to the iPd.
If you can't find the audiobook, look in the More Tab of the Music App.

  • I only have one iTunes account.  The other day I made the mistake of downloading purchased songs and movies logged on another user account (Administrator) on the same computer.  How do I consolidate all my purchases in my preferred user account?

I only have one iTunes account.  The other day I made the mistake of downloading purchased songs and movies logged on another user account (Administrator) on the same computer.  How do I consolidate all my purchases in my preferred user account?

copy the songs that you downloaded as admin and put it somewhere you can access it from you're preferred account (usb stick / cd / shared folder / external hard drive) log into with you preferred user account and drag and drop the files on top of the itunes icon and they will be imported.
if you have a second computer you could use home sharing to move the music from admin itunes to the second computer and from the second computer to the preferred itununes
ps you can only connect 5 computers to you're itunes account so don't forget to de-autorise when you no-longer wand it.

  • Won't let me download purchased songs (error 8517), Won't let me download purchased songs (error 8517)

There's about 25 or so songs that I have purchased but can't download. Whenever I click on Downloads, It says there are 25 songs available for download, I click to download them and they all come up with an error. Someone suggested I go to Store --> Account --> and then click download purchased songs from there, if I do that in the library it seems to act like they're all about to download but none of them do. Anyone please help?

  • Error message when trying to download purchased songs

I purchased some albums on my ipad that synced to my iphone. I'm now trying to download my purchases to my library stored on my PC, but I'm getting an error/warning message along the lines of:
"You can download past purchases for up to 90 days.....You cannot assign another apple id to this computer for the next 30 days".
Does anyone have any ideas? I did have to sign my wife out of itunes before i signed in to download my songs so i assuming its something to do with that.

When trying to download purchased songs on ITunes, it
gives an error message that the network connection
timed out. also gives this error message when I try
to download ITunes software. Can anyone help with
    this error? Thanks
I am having the same problem. (err = -3259) and it's not listed in any of the error codes in Apple Support. Weird. Why have an error code and no reference for it.
First it happened when I tried to download a movie and I kept "checking for purchases" - didn't work - checked all my ad filters, privacy filters, firewall settings - didn't work. Then I forgot for a day, went back and it worked. Now I have three episodes of a TV show that will not download and I am getting the same error message. This time it has been a few days though...Someone who knows - Please HELP!!

  • Unable to download purchase history

    unable to download purchase history

If I understand you, you either want to re-download your Books or can't find them in the 'Purchased' section of iTunes.
To re-download your books connect your iPhone/iPad to iTunes via USB cable and open iTunes. click 'PURCHASED' from the 'QUICKLINKS' section on the far right hand side of your iTunes screen, select BOOKS from the menu bar and then select the book/s to download from the list and click DOWNLOAD.
If you can't see the books listed on this page then check you have 'ALL' selected from the ALL | NOT ON THIS COMPUTER options which are located on the top right hand side of the page.
    Hope that helps.
