When I downloaded a video from the iTunes store, there was no SD counterpart. what happened?
Does the rest of the store work ok?
Presumably you can browse internet ok?
Apple servers seem to be having some issues currently (appleTV) so things may be more widespread.
Give it some time and re-try or in itunes go to the iTunes store home page (house icon) and choose Purchased from Quicklinks on the right and see if you canreinitiate the download from there,

I got a new ipad mini and chose to set up as a copy of my iPad. Didn't sync the music on however as it is a smaller model, not enough room. Now trying to get some pictures and music on. Chose some pictures that were not in iPhoto, got a message that I could only sync with one library, chose cancel, and apply and it downloaded my pictures anyway. Now trying to sync some music but just get "The iPad “Linda’s iPad” is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPad and sync with this iTunes library?" So I hit cancel. Have tried several times, same thing. What can I try?
You should be able to accept this message, it will cause existing music, photos (not camera roll) and videos (also excluding those in camera roll) to be removed and replaced with those from this computer. All other user data on the iPad will be unaffected.

I tried to set up my daughters iPod touch yesterday on my mother's computer. I used an iTunes card and set up an iTunes account and it said it was approved however none of the app boxes ever showed up on the iPod. The only thing that shows up is a cord and an iTunes logo. I went to best buy and the technician told me the iPod didn't sync with the computer when the iTunes were downloading. Today I learned whatever computer you set you iTunes account up on and sync your iPod to is the only one you can continue to download onto your iPod. Since I wasn't successful in syncing the iPod the first time can I now set the iPod up to my iPad and if so did I waste the iTunes card that said was successfully downloaded on my mother's computer yesterday?
Okay, but this is nothing new. Purchased content has ALWAYS been permanently tied to the AppleID account used to buy it. It has never been transferable between accounts, or playable on computers not authorized for that account.
It has nothing to do with how you sync or save your OWN music. You cannot authorize your computer for music bought with an AppleID that you do not control. -
i accidentally didn't sync all my itunes songs to my iPhone 4. However, i still have them all on my iPhone 3. how do i get all my songs back in iTunes to sync to my iPhone 4?
Right click in windows. Control click on Mac. On the phone in iTunes. Choose "transfer purchases"

I didn't do any kind of backup other than my usal sync with itunes. What do I have to do to get itunes to sync everything back like the old one? I was planning for a repair not a replacement. I'm afraid to plug the new one in to my pc until I know what I need to do.
You can restore from the backup of the old one.

I’m having a trouble getting icloud mail without my personal email. All icloud features syncs normally unless mail didn’t sync I am running mac ox 10.7.2 any ideas?
I discovered that my cord was bad. I used someone else's cord and then it worked - that's how I was able to determine it was the cord, so I replaced it. (In case someone else has a similar problem.)
BTW, I'm still having a problem syncing my iCal, so I posted that problem in the iCal forum. If you think you can help, please look for my message there. -
I've encountered a problem while synching my entire library. After synching I've noticed that only half of my library is playable on my iPhone. And a red circle with a Stop button appears next to the songs that didn't sync. Why is this happening?

Got new phone and ibooks didn't sync
When I got a new phone and pluged it in to sync/restore from my previous phone, by ibooks didn't sync. I can't seem to find any list on itunes of the books I had purchased and/or how to transfer them to my new phone.
As long as your usign the same Apple ID all you need to do is:
ON your iPhone:
> Go to Setting -> Store -> and make sure "iBooks" is set to automatically download
**Note: Make sure you have updated your Iphone to the lastest firmware
> Now all your iBooks will be accesible on your iPhone without syncing through Itunes
Moreover: in iTunes, go to "Preferences" -> "Store" and check "Books" too so iTunes automatically download iBook purchases you make on your Iphone or any other Apple Device -
My iPad Air is disabled after wrongpassword attempts.I didn't sync it with my laptop also. How can I restore it with out losing the data.
You can't unlock it without losing data. It's too late for that now. You totally erase the iPad when you unlock it and you will have to start all over again. Most of your purchased content can be downloaded again.

did you ever do a backup. cause if you did say like a year ago. it should still be there and you could at least get the info back until that date.

This means that only 10 of your Notes appear on your "iCloud" account. The rest appear on your "On My iPhone" account. My cousin wants to open her phone 5s but she cannot remember her password and she doesn't want to lose everything on it. She didn't sync it to any computers or have an icloud account. What should I do?
If she cannot remember the passcode, then she has to restore the device. If she did not backup the phone before this, she will lose all of her content. The only chance would have been if she had synced to a computer, but you say she did not.

Download the COMBO Update and try that, that is iof you haven't already.
If that fails then you could boot to the Recovery HD and do a Reinstall Over the Top of your current install. That will replace all the system files with the current versions, 10.7.4, and leave all your other files alone, programs and data file. -
IPod Touch Restored, didn't Sync.
I connected my iPod to my computer after updating iTunes, and it wanted me to update the iPod OS, and in the middle of the process, it came up with a message that said along the lines of "Unable to complete this process," so I unplugged my iPod (after ejecting it on iTunes), and it was still on the update screen.
I plugged it in again, and it said I had to restore it. I did so, and it didn't sync my music or apps. When I go into iTunes or the App Store, it wants me to pay for these things all over again.
I suppose I lost around $80-$100. Is there anything I can do about this?Hello Saskfoster,
