when watching older tv programing my tv screen does not fill up! where is the aspect ajustment? roku & netgear have them my tv screen fills up using them!
depend on the source I suppose if you play non widescreen media on a widescreen tv there is no magic way to make it display full screen unless you cut up top and buttom

Iphone 3gs won't back up in itune on the computer, but it will sync. the message read on the computer is because the back up was corrupt or not compatible with iphone. Delete the back up for this iphone then try again.
Launch iTunes. Then from the menu bar at the top of your screen click iTunes / Preferences then select the Devices tab.
Delete any iPhone backups.
Quit then relaunch iTunes. Connect the iPhone to your computer and try syncing.

I am trying to open iTunes on my Windows 7 PC and am getting the following message...the itunes library can not be found or created. The default location for this file is in the "iTunes" folder in the "Music" folder. Any ideas?
Let's try this first. Hold down the Shift key while you try to launch iTunes. You should eventually see the following dialog:
Click "Choose library". Browse to inside the following location (depending on what operating system you're running):
Operating System
Default location of iTunes library
Microsoft Windows XP
\Documents and Settings\[your username]\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
Microsoft Windows Vista
\Users\[your username]\Music\iTunes\

My older macbook will not let me log on to the different profiles
My MacBook will not let me log in to my different profiles. This is a school computer and several kids have profiles. The list of names comes up, but it will not more forward. If I put a cd in the drive it wakes it up and moves along. Any suggestions.
Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions. -
I need help with the above question concerning home screen not loading and IPAD 2 won't reboot by holding home button and restore button for over a minute.

I have copied a program SAPMV45A (VA01) to ZSAPMV45A and created the transaction ZVA01.
I have maitained the transaction ZVA01 in V_T180 of SM30 by copying VA01.
after doing all, when I execute the transaction ZVA01 it will go to the initial screen of create Sales Order after enter the header information like Order Type, Sales Org, Distribution Channel & Division if click Enter it will go to short dump where I am getting the information as shown below

After update LR 5.4, the program will not import new pictures
After update of LR 5.4 on my laptop, I cannot import any new pictures anymore.
I did the same update on my desktop and there it was no problem at all.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem??I am importing from a verbatim ssd, and I just don't get the chance to choose an import, I don't see any pictures to choose from. Ans what ever I pick it won't work
On my desktop it was no problem at all. But my laptop gives my trouble.

Where are you importing from? What type of Import (Copy, Move, Add)? What is the destination specified at the righthand side?
Any error messages?

I have upgraded to OS X Mavericks and my MacBook keeps crashing and my numbers and pages programs will not open as they are being updated continuously
The next time the crash happens, note the date and time the problem occurred, then go to Applications/Utilities/Console and copy the log starting at the time of the crash. Paste the log in a reply. Please do not use a screen shot as they can be hard to read. If there are repeated runs of the same messages, please post only one run. Be selective about what you post and don’t post huge amounts. Make sure there is no personal data visible. Information learned from Linc Davis.

TS4085 the image does not fill entire screen of iPad, therefore not the entire TV screen. Why?
When I try to mirror a video from my iPad to TV using Apple TV, the video does not fill entire screen of iPad nor the entire screen of my TV, Is there a way to strech the image to fit screen(s)?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
There are two factors in play here. Firstly the iPad screen is 4:3, your TV is 16:9, so when mirroring the mirrored iPad screen is never going to fill the TV screen. If on top of that, whatever you are watching doesn't fill the iPad screen then that too will be reflected in what is seen in the mirrored image.
You cannot stretch this using the Apple TV or iPad controls, but your TV may have a setting you can use. Generally speaking though this will distort the image and you would likely be best leaving it alone. -
Adobe bridge cc is not working on my mac snow leopard version 10.6.8. In other words the program will not open, but all other programs i have been able to open just fine

I am in Mavericks disk utility recovery mode as my mac book pro will not boot up & stays on the Apple grey screen . When I verify disk permissions I get
Open error 5:"input/ output error" on syst with over 50 of this messages & still counting . Disk Utility says 1 minute
But this has been going on for over 10 mins .
I can not verify disk or repair disk .
I have tried to reinstall mavericks operating system but it says my hard drive is locked which is very strange .
Does anyone know what is going on here ?
My system looks like it has been totally corrupted . Thanks AndrewCould be. The "lock" isn't actually looking for a password.
WARNING: This will completely erase the ENTIRE hard drive.
What you would need to do is boot to recovery > disk utility > select the MAIN drive on the left side > partition > change partition layout from CURRENT to 1 PARTITION > ensure on the right side it says Format : Mac OSX Extended (Journaled) then push APPLY.
Then if it will allow us, close the windows until you see the 4 options popup again and select "Reinstall Mac OS X" select the Mac HD and you should be good to go! -
I have a Mac G5 running OS 10.5.8. I downloaded Firefox 4 and now the program will not open at all. I get an error message that reads --
"You cannot open the application 'Firefox" because it is not supported on this architecture."
I am also unable to find a link to download the previous version (3.6) that was running fine. (I'm using Safari to contact you.)Same proble here, although the Firefox system requirements says it is OK to have PowerPC G3 G4 or G5 ( I have G5 2GHZ)
My solution; very simply use timemachine to restore the previous Frefox 3.x
