I have a new apple air gold. I cannot get it to log on. it is saying on front of ipad , ipad is disabled. connect to iTunes. I cannot connect to iTunes if I cannot get it to come on

It means you need to connect the iPad to a computer running iTunes.  It is disabled for some reason and will need to be restored from a computer.

    If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
    Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
    Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
    Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
    Open iTunes.
    Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.

    Hello. You need to change the energy use setting that computer uses max it out. Then it will work just fine. My is touchsmart 600-1050. The computer was preset to use minimum amount of electricity when in idle. I changed all the setting to high. Now every thing runs just like a Windows XP version computer. Thats how I got my screen savors to work. I also upgraded my Windows 7 to Windows 7 Ultimate now I am able to run a lot more XP software. Test your pond screen saver make sure that working with windows open. That will tell you if it is a software issue if it doesn't work. That is the case then restore it from your D: drive.

    I'm not new to the Apple world...Our family has iphone's, ipods & several iPads....  We just got the new iPad 3 and I CANNOT get it to download anything onto it! ARRGG!!  It shows that it syncs, but nothing stores onto the iPad after the sync. What am I missing here!! =/

    I haven't come across this one, but the first thing I would try is a "reset" on the iPad (different from just restarting):
    Hold down on both the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds (ignore the red slider button). Keep holding it until the Apple Logo appears. When you see the Apple logo on the black screen, let go of the buttons. This “reset” fixes a lot of iPad issues and might work to resolve the issue.
    Try again.
    Also, check to make sure there are no restrictions set in Settings -> General -> Restrictions.

    I have deleted the SC file;
    I haveturned off user controls --temporarily.
    I have re-downloaded all purchases. Yet I cannot play purchases because I am proompted to authporize computer.
    I go along with it and provide the info.
    I am then told the computer is already authorized. Back to square one.
    Now I have multiple iterations of downloaded unplayable paid-for songs. What do do about this now?
    Any solution to the authorization issue?

    I have alreay created an apple account with my new iPhone, went through the secrurity questions etc etc but now when I went to download a FREE app it will not let me pass unless I give apple my creditcard details ( I will not use this option If want to pay i will buy a apple gift card) It does not give you the none option as when I set up my kids and hubbies!     I cannot believe that apple is refusing to help a customer who bought and paid for iWork software just because I bought it from the retail store the App Store says they cannot allow me to upgrade.  I have never heard of such.  It should to matter where I got it i bought apples software and I don't et how the retail store can be different frothe App Store my god its all still apple.  So stupid.  I will not pay full price for the upgrade.   Also I purchased Logic Studio and 2 days later the upgrade came out and they will not let u upgrade ?  I think there should be at Least a 30-45 day window if u purchase software and they release the upgrade u should get not.    It's not like apple doesn't make enough money already.  

    iWork '08 & 09 installed from the retail disk or from the downloaded trial must be updated through Software Update. Those installations will not be recognized as installed by the Mac App Store. In Mountain Lion Software Update has been "rolled into" the Mac App Store. Choose Software Update from the Apple menu just like you always have & the Mac App Store will launch. Depending on what you have that needs updating you may see two sections in the MAS window.
    But, as always, if you're not running the latest versions of the iWork apps installed from a retail box or the downloaded trial & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. If you installed from the downloaded trial or the retail box, they must be in the iWork '08 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '08. If it doesn't have the '08 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work.
    If you are running Pages 3.0.3, then you do have the latest version of Pages from iWork '08. If you want to upgrade to iWork '09, you will need to purchase the new version, just like everyone else. The good news is that you can buy just the individual iWork apps - Keynote, Pages & Numbers - that you need or want for $20 US each from the Mac App Store & then install them on as many Macs as you need using the same Apple ID.

    AT&T (as well as most ISP-issued routers) are non-standard.  If you want to avoid headaches in the future, go buy your own Netgear or Linksys!
    On the router did you change the channel to 11 or 1?  Did you change from WEP to WPA encryption?

    I have gotten my Ipod to go to the Itunes connect screen for recovery. However when I donwloaded the update it did not work. So my Ipod is still not being recognized by my computer.

    If you cannot operate the device nor get it to connect to iTunes, make sure the cable is not the problem, try another cable.
    If not, then try this:
    1. Connect the device to iTunes
    2. Hold both the power button and the home button down simultaneously
    3. After 10 seconds, release the power button but leave the home button pressed
    4. iTunes should then recognize that the device has entered DFU mode and ask to restore.
