You cannot delete it but you could take it to your last home page. Tap on the icon until it shakes then move your finger on the icon to the right edge of your screen until the icon is half hidden and the iPhone will take the icon to the following page. If you have more than two pages, just keep repeating this move until the passbook icon is on the last page. While there, the icon will not take up space on the home screens you most frequestly use.

Also, When I open the Keyboard Viewer, the letters will highlight only if I hold the modifier key(s) "Control" or "Control and Option". I really need help with this. It is not possible to delete any of the bundled apps. You may have moved it to another home screen or inadvertently dropped it into a folder. If you search for the app or reset the home screen layout - Settings/General/Reset - that should bring it back to the default location. There also may be a setting to turn Passbook off in the General/Restrictions, but not having an iPhone with iOS 6 I'm not sure.

I, am now getting annoyed with i-cloud. I had an express lane discussion with your support group earlier this morning after discovering that the cloud icon wasn't next to music in the left hand side bar.

I, have spent considerable time trying to connect my i-pod touch wirelessly with no success untill I saw on the i-tunes store tab that my i-tunes match was not turned on. I clicked to turn it on and I was asked to add this computer which I have already done. I talked to the Apple support group and they talked me through the set up through add this computer again! But sure enough it worked I had the cloud icon next to music in the left hand side bar and in the store tab i-tune match was turned on and everything seemed to be working.
I, looked again less than half an hour later and i-tunes match was turned off again. I began to turn it on again and now I get asked to pay the i-cloud subscription. How is this resolved?

Back navigation arrow doesn't work anymore, also not getting suggestoins when I start typing a URL... how can these be fixed?

So after I deleted a bunch of files/applications today (computer was threatening to crash), Firefox started to do a couple weird things. Navigating backward is no longer possible; the back navigation arrow is greyed out. Also, when I start typing a URL, it no longer suggests the rest of it, either in the URL bar itself or in a drop down menu (it used to do both). 16.0.2 is the current version, right? That's the one I kept, I deleted the others. Recently, I got the announcement that Apple isn't supporting my operating system, Mac OS X 10.5.8 anymore, I don't know if that is relevant. How can these things be fixed?

I use Windows but I can suggest you a couple of things that you can try out.
1. Right click on your toolbar, click Customize. Click on the "'''Restore Default Set'''" button.
2. Go to Firefox menu > Help menu > Troubleshooting information. In the tab that opens afterwards click "'''Reset Firefox'''".

This update and message appeared last evening but doesn't seem to complete. It also says "downloading", but nothing is happening.
How can I complete the download or eliminate it?

If it's slow on startup it would be extensions loading or LaunchDaemons starting up.
You should have a look in:
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/Extensions
You can count out anything in your home folder and it shouldn't put anything in /System as that's reserved for Apple.

HT203296 My Mid-2009 Macbook doesn't support Intel VT-X. It should... the CPU supports it and Apple says it does.

It says the processor supports it. Apple says it should support it. But it doesn't work. VMWare Fusion 5 tells me it's not enabled. What can I do?

Did you read carefully?
Note the words 'up to' not 'will' last 9 hours. Apple makes these measurements based on very minimal resource intensive applications. My experience that battery run time is much less than these unrealistic advertising claims. Battery run time will be a function of the number and types of applications that are in use.

I have a Lexmark x5150 printer, getting error message Prop Res DLL not located when trying to print, just in Black. Contacted Lexmark, determined the Problem is Firefox 4.3 doesn't support this feature, although my browser internet explorer does.

I print shipping labels through Paypal, I want to print just in black ink, but when I use the Lexmark properties to change the printing to just black, getting message Prop Res DLL not located. Spent some time with Lexmark Chat to try and find out what I needed to do to fix this. As they walked me through a couple of things to try, one was to go to Internet Explorer, found I could do the necessary printing, with no problems of getting that error message. So it appears the problem is with Firefox 4.3

I was attempting to burn a dvd from iMovie but after several attempts could not. Contacted tech support and they say lion iMovie doesn't support burning movies. What a rip (excuse the pun). What do I do now?

iMovie has never been able to burn DVDs.
It's iDVD that burns DVDs.
Currently the only place to get iDVD is if you buy a boxed version of iLife 09 which you can still find at places like Amazon.
There are also alternatives to iDVD. You can read about some of them here:

Depending on your movies size, it may also be possible to create a QuckTime version of it and burn that to a data DVD that others can play back on their comptuers.
