HT204003 How do I delete Passbook?

Does anyone know how I can delete Passbook and all other Apple Mandatory apps that I don't use from my phone?

I am infuriated that Apple would put baked-in apps such as passbook on my phone and force me to keep them there. I was ready frustrated about that when I opened passbook to find that it isn't even installed and I can't use it until I go to the App Store and spend my time installing it. What?!? So I have an App that a) I don't want  b) I can't delete and c) I have to spend time on it before I can even test drive it??  I think if Apple wants to bake in Apps and generate millions of dollars for third party companies, fine, but at least allow me to delete them if I don't want them. I never use passbook (mostly out of principal), newsstand or reminders. Apple needs to have more respect for their customers and stop insulting us with force fed Apps from whichever software company was as to get into bed with them.

    Passbook automatically -- without asking -- uploaded my online Starbucks card, linked to an out of date credit card number still held in my Starbucks account. I had to remove the Passbook account, then call Starbucks and have them manually correct the default credit card number and remove the legacy data they're storing. Then I went back in to the very-patient Statbucks barista and paid for my Grande Pike Place and Ethos Water and Boulange Morning Bun. All this has taken me 1 valuable Monday-morning billable hour: I have missed 3 fone calls, 1 conference call, now I am late for an appointment, and my coffee is cold. Apple please remove Passbook, or let us do it, or at the very least let us disable it!

    It is not possible to delete any of the bundled apps. You may have moved it to another home screen or inadvertently dropped it into a folder. If you search for the app or reset the home screen layout - Settings/General/Reset - that should bring it back to the default location. There also may be a setting to turn Passbook off in the General/Restrictions, but not having an iPhone with iOS 6 I'm not sure.

    You never had Passbook on the iPad, it's not available for the iPad. You cannot delete pre installed apps either.

    You can't do this, and you can't transfer purchases between accounts. There is no conflict about using one ID for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match (the ID you've been using for iTunes) and using the other ID for iCloud.

    At the moment you can't - just remove any personal info from it (e.g. credit card details) and stop using it. If you purchased any content from Apple with it (music, films, apps etc) then you will need to remember the account id and password in case you ever want authorise it so as to use it on a different computer (or the same computer if, for exampel, you upgrade the OS)

    After restoring you should sign in with your new apple-id. Then the iPad should not know the old apple-id at all. So restore it, set is up as a "new iPad" and you should be good. When restoring from a backup it will automatically restore your old apple-id as that is what was backed up. Also note that if you restore through iTunes, then your iTunes should also be signed into your new account as it will transfer the currently signed-in account to the newly set-up iPad.
    If a restore didn't delete photo's or anything, then is wasn't a proper restore for new, but a restore from backup.
    Note that setting up as a new iPad will delete all your contents.

    Although your profile says you're running iOS 5.1.1 it sounds like you're running iOS 7 (otherwise you would not need your password to delete the old account).  Assuming that's true, and your iCloud ID has changed but you need to delete the old account in order to change to your new one, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
