Theres almost a trick to it for first time users, goto SETTINGS...General......Cellular (if Verizon) ....Personal Hotspot, turn it on.....turn on wifi on your Mac, select your Iphone. Enter password.
If you take too long doing it, youll need turn turn off and on real quick the "personal hotspot" slider on the Phone.......then go quick again thur the Mac. -
my iphone 3gs is in recovery mode how do i activate it please help. it shows the message your iphone couldnot be activated because the activation server is temporarily deactivated.
This usually happens if the phone has been Hacked / Jailbroken / Modified...

Have you checked your Control Panel to make sure you don't have the flashlight turned on?
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and make sure the flashlight icon (bottom left-hand corner) is not white. If it is, tap on it to turn it off.

Can anyone PLEASE help? My daughter recently got an iPhone 4.Since then she has been unable to text her best friend.She can text everyone else without a problem. She can also receive texts from her friend. We have spoken to various help desks but no luck. Then she smashed the screen of it and had to get a new one (on insurance luckily for her!) Before restoring the backup from iTunes she tried to text her friend and it worked! But after the restore it was back to the same problem? Any ideas anyone?

If there are any saved web pages or HTML files in the same folder that you're trying to upload from, move or delete those files and try again. Otherwise, try moving the files you want to upload to a different folder.
