Add it to your account in what way ? You can add it to your support profile via this page : https://supportprofile.apple.com/
If you want to log into your account on the phone then you can only do that directly on the phone : Settings > iTunes & App Store
It you want it to show in the 'manage devices' part of your account then that can also only be done directly on the phone, either by turning on iTunes Match or automatic downloads on it, or redownloading past purchases : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627

Hi, I wonder if anyone can advise if it's possible to transfer which master account a sub account is held under? My 11 year old got a PSN voucher for her birthday and it would not load on to her sub account, saying I had to load it on to a master account. I loaded it on to my master account only to realise that my daughter's sub account is actually linked to my husband's master account rather than mine. I've had a look on the forums and it seems that I can't tranfer the funds to his wallet. So, am I able to link her sub account to my master account without having to set up a completely new ID for her? We have a PS3. Thanks.

Hi everyone, first post, thanks for taking the time to look and hopefully answer . So I just bought a new Mac Pro and was thrilled to discover I could use the ol' Migration Assistant to transfer all my crap from my Power Mac AGP. It didn't work in the initial startup process (it just spun and spun and spun - I let it go overnight and still nothing); I had to create an account on the new machine, and then run the Migration Assistant after.
Well it worked for the most part. My problem is that I have absolutely no need for the new account I created; I just want to use the one that migrated from the old machine. Even though it's set to admin rights, I don't have certain permissions, like parental control, and can't save to the 'master desktop'. Trying to be clever I deleted the new account. It didn't seem to screw anything up, but it didn't fix the problem either. I still don't have permission for everything.
Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks so much!

If you still have the G4, I suggest starting over. Review http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1872713 for starters. Then, boot with the restore disk, wipe the machine, and restore the MacPro to its original status. Finish as described in the linked document.

Multiple email accounts under one master

I have 2 kids that would like email accounts. I would like the option of reading their email, if I need to. How do I set up multiple email accounts under one master account? Can it be set up so that their email cannot be deleted by them?

You'll need a third party solution to monitor your children's email, etc. Anyone that can access an email account can create, read, and delete messages.
Spector for Mac is one product I found on Google, that appears to do what you need. I'm sure others are available.

Sub account to Master account

I'm 18 years old and have a sub account. But I use the master account from my parents, with there e-mail etc... On that account I bought stuff etc... When I would upgrade the sub account to a master account do I lose everything on that master account. The master account is linked to the sub account. I was thinking to just leave the sub account and never upgrade and keep on using the master account.

You can't. Why on earth would you attempt to manage 2500 emails with setting up a folder structure or some means of doing so? Simply keeping them in an single inbox is not realistic, no matter what email client you use.

FYI: you should have simply updated the AppleID with new info and continued to use it instead of creating a new one.

Added email account, don't want separate inbox, etc.

What a PITA! I just registered, spent a while typing, responded to confirmation email, spent a while more typing, and got "Access Denied" when I hit submit. Everything I had typed is gone, and I have to start all over again! I repeat - PITA! The re-type will be a bit more bare-bones. I hope it's enough to get help.
I've been using Tbird since 2009. 4 email accounts, all pop3 configured to use a single Local Folders Inbox. I use popfile to classify/sort incoming mail & message filters to move them into 20+ different folders under Local Folders. It's been working perfectly for years.
I just added another gmail account, configured EXACTLY like the others. But the new one shows up as a separate account above Local Folders in the folder list, with its own inbox & trash folders. NONE of the other 4 accounts show up there. I get duplicates of all incoming mail on this new account - 1 in the account's own inbox, and 1 in the "common" inbox that then gets moved into the correct local folder by the message filter. And the extra account in the folder list causes a couple folders to "fall off" the bottom of my screen. I've set it up VERY carefully so everything fits on my screen WITHOUT SCROLLING. Except that it DOESN'T fit anymore!
What have I done wrong?

Nevermind - I FINALLY found it. Under advanced server settings - use other account's inbox. It's been TOO long since I set up all those other accounts!

Changing the master account email and other mail/a...

I've tried a couple of times via online chat and ringing up to get a couple of queries sorted but regrettably it seems there is no easy way to get differing issues sorted through the same person. I have a telephone, Infinity and Youview service.
We have been BT customers for a lifetime and for 20+ years my wife worked for BT. During that period we had free or subsidised broadband and the account, including phone line, was in my wife's name. 3 years ago she was made redundant and the account was transferred to me and we've renewed annually since. Problem is though the account is clearly in my name and the bills are emailed to me the master email on the broadband mail account remains my wife's. As I found out recently a forgotten password security check needed my wife's security details to resolve and not my own. This also means that any management of sub-accounts has to be done through my wife's name and it's incredibly frustrating that I need to use my wife's details to manage the mail side of the account. Additionally I seem to be paying for some email accounts seperately with an automatic payment each month from my credit card when surely they could be amalgamated into my account so they could be free ?
Given that the account is in my name, the bills are emailed to me and I have the online account to manage my relationship with BT how can my wife still have the master account ?
Any advice on how to sort this out ?

Auto adding email accounts to users Outlook

Hi guys,
We use Microsoft Exchange 2013 (as well as Outlook 365) to manage our email accounts.
When we add a 2nd email account to a users account the user still has to manually add the email account in Outlook. Is there a way or setting where if we add an email account to a users mailbox it will automatically populate in their Outlook?

are you adding 2nd email account as extra profile or additional mailbox?
Run this command to enabled automapping:
Add-MailboxPermission -Identity “[email protected]”
-User “[email protected]” -AccessRights FullAccess -InheritanceType All -Automapping $true.
If you grant access for another mailbox thru acces groups,automapping wont work.It has to be granted directly or use the abow command.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

When you migrate a MobileMe account to iCloud your email is transferred to the iCloud server, including all folders on the server.
However your signature says you have 10.6.8 - is this correct? (If not please amend it to prevent confusion.) Snow Leopard is not compliant with iCloud but you can set Mail up manually to access your iCloud email. Please see this page:
