HT204053 Different Apple ID linked to my Icloud account

Hi... I am trying to back up my data from my Icloud account in my new Iphone, and after I login with my Apple ID and password and choosing my last Iphone back up daye,I get a message asking to type a password for an email that isn't mine!!! I have no idea what to do. Can any one help me?

If you have proof of original purchase of the iPad, take that proof and the iPad

Ah, now you're talking about itunes store and itunes match. The itunes store account is not the same as the icloud account (the two may use the same Apple ID, buy they can be different).
As for itunes match - you cannot merge purchased music from two itunes accounts. Using one of the itunes accounts (call it A) and icloud account, use itunes match to sync the music to the cloud. Then purchase other missing songs that are not part of A (but were in the other account) and that will add them to icloud match.

Hi,
You can't use family sharing or multiple Apple IDs with iTunes match.
ITunes match is only attached to Apple id that you used to subscribe.

You'll need to create an Apple ID for each device. Use the new Apple ID for FaceTime, iMessage and iCloud on the device. Use the original Apple ID for Settings>iTunes & App Store.

My phone is currently associated to my husbands email and icloud account. I would like to create my own.

To migrate your phone to a new iCloud account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; you husban's device won't be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted . Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on your own iCloud account, you can go to icloud.com and delete any data you don't want in your new account. You'll also have to recreate your notes from the emails you sent earlier.

At least 255 separate devices. But if you have a lot of users each with devices of their own, then they should each have separate user accounts, separate Apple IDs, and separate iTunes accounts; this will generally require at least one Apple ID/iCloud account per user.

Contacts won't sync across 2 iPhones linked to one iCloud account.

It sounds like you are adding new contacts to phone 1, and they are not appearing in phone 2. I recommend troubleshooting the syncing connection between the phones, and iCloud. Start by checking to see if the contacts are visible at http://www.icloud.com. If so, use the iOS troubleshooting from the following article with phone 2. If not, then try the iOS troubleshooting with phone 1 instead:

It is still not possible to have two credit cards with your iTunes store account. I've just had a discussion with an Apple representative who suggested I give feedback to Apple about this. The more we are, Apple might listen to us in the end.

I’m surprised as are many other people who have the same issue (can see this in many forum threads) that Apple don’t give us the possibility to have at least 2 credit cards with one AppleID/account like most other vendors do (even much smaller than Apple). This certainly forces people to buy some stuff elsewhere that they otherwise would have purchased from Apple (for example books) or restrain from buying things they would have bought if they had a choice to use a second Credit Card.
Not having this option puts me in a precarious situation since it would not be OK to buy just anything with the Credit Card that is tied to my business (and in many cases like mine the business is only one person, the VAT No being the same as my social security No).
Sole traders need an option too.

I bought a new iPhone5c and downloaded my information to it from my iCloud account. After activating this phone, I gave my daughter my old iPhone4. I did not know that phone was still linked to my iCloud account so when she deleted the contacts on the iPhone4 and replaced them with her own, it did the same to my current iPhone5c. I need to know if/how I can get those contacts back.

You can't, except by seeing if they are using services associated with the account. You could, for example, launch Find My iPhone on iCloud.com to see what devices appear (which obviously wouldn't show devices not using Find My iPhone). Similarly, you could go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage to see what devices appear on the Backups list (which won't show devices not using iCloud backup).
