HT204053 Do I always have to put in my password every time I purchase/download an app?

I only have the 1 iOS, the new iPad. I don't use or sync other devices. Can I somehow disable that so I don't have to write in my pw EVERY time I download something new!? It's kind of annoying. Lol I'm using the same device every time, it should remember me! Thanks for help.

Not sure exactly how long it is, but yes you get a period of time before you need to re-enter your password. So far as the security questions are concerned, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to Password and security.

Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
          Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select

turn off all of the ipads, (not put them to sleep but turn them off) then unplug your Wi-Fi router for 2 mins. Plug it back in and when all the lights are (green or blue, depends on who makes the router) turn on one ipad and then connect it, wait 3 mins and turn on the other and connect it, do this for each iPad and it should fix the problem.

Try rebooting the iPad one more time. Try using recovery mode again and if that still doesn't work, make an appointment at an Apple Store and ask for their help.

Apps, whether the be free or require a payment are then associated with the Apple ID that was used to download them. To make sure that the person downloading the app is the person to whom the purchase or download will be associated you are requested to enter your password. That's the way it is.
Updating previously downloaded apps no longer requires entering your password.
Downloading multiple apps in sequence will also require only entering your password once.

You will wait for the rest of your life. You need to fix it; no one else will. To turn off "Find my iPhone" and its associated Activation Lock you need the Apple ID and password that were used to turn it on. The video I am watching this guy is just dragging every line to make curves. And every anchor point is a corner. He is not switching back and forth between the pen and the anchor points tool, and he is not using the convert points tool. He draws a curved line and starts another straight line only to curve it with a click and a drag. It is super efficient, and I could save a world of time if I could figure out what he is doing.
