The usual reasons for an Apple ID getting disabled are either unauthorized activity or violations of the Terms & Conditions.
Submit your request to iTunes Customer Service and if appropriate, they will re-enable it. -

ThanksAre you able to download the app using your apple ID on a computer? If it is saying your apple ID is disabled that could mean apple had seen fit to disable it for some reason. Check to make sure you don't owe and money on your account or anything.

I needed to download an application to be able to use it with an FM transmitter in the car and I was informed that my Apple ID has been disabled. If your account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it

My iPod touch (3rd gen - 64 gig)
keeps advising me that my Apple ID has been disabled - it doesn't say for security reasons
I have reset the device, changed my password twice, and left it overnight but it still will not allow me to update OR install any new apps (that have been paid for).
Does anyone have a phone number that I can call that will reach a person who can get it sorted out???Unfortunately, I don't have a number, but if you go the apple.com/support/itunes, it'll give you the pathway to connect with iTunes support.
