Are you trying to add your Exchange account to "Outlook for Mac" or to "Apple Mail"?

How can I hook up 3 screens to a Mac Pro 8 core. One is a 23' Apple Cinema Display, the second is a 20" Apple cinema display and the 3rd is a 32' Sony Bravia HDTV (connected to mini port with mini/HDMI connector) Do I need to buy another video card? I have heard about 4 different scenarios about this, and they all sound a bit complicated. I thought that you could automatically connect 3 displays with the card that comes with the MacPro. It has a DVI port and 2 mini ports, so it appears that would be for 3 displays. But this is where it gets strange. Any thoughts?

Which video card? 5x70? If you read about the various scenarios thern for 5x70's you need two active adapters for thee monitors (TV considered a monitor). And you should have seen references to these apple docs:

It's not really complicated. Search out the appropriate adapters and hook 'em up. For the 23" and 20", if they are DVI, you need single link adapters. For the TV, if you end up using the DVI port for it (because possibly you can't find the appropate adapter cmbination) then you need to handle the audio separately since DVI doesn't carry audio.

I just bought splashtop, you have to have your home computer online,and download the pc version. I have used it ot watch movies and to "go to work" on my ipad. It controls the desktop through the ipad. Whiteboard by splashtop does that and more and is on sale. The education director at the hospital I work at is using that one.

As stated you can't. Even if the compressed data is TV compatible, the container is not. If the file is playback compatible with the QT X Player, you can, of course, play the file on your main system and "mirror" its display to the TV. Unfortunately, this normally means only the video is played back via the TV device. On the other hand, if you convert the MKV content to an TV compatible file (or move the compressed data to an TV compatible container if the data is already TV compatible), then you can mirror the QT X player (with audio) to the TV device in the full screen mode, air play/mirror it from iTunes (or any mobile device), or stream it directly from itunes.
Basically, what you can do here depends on the compressed data in the MKV file container and how you define "mirroring."

You can use bootcamp to install windows natively on the hard drive. You then choose which OS you wish to use at startup - OS X or Windows.
You can also install Windows in a virtual machine - Parallels or VMWare Fusion - and run it simultaneously with OS X (a virtual machine is just a PC emulated in software, and you install and run windows in the emulated machine hardware).

I have found another response which suggests command+S and generate an entirely new admin. and password and you are not supposed to loose a single file.

How can I callibrate my CRT TV on my Mac Pro 1.1?

I am the lucky owner of a 32" Philips HD CRT TV. As far as I know my model is the only HD CRT TV produced by Philips (along with a 28" model).
My TV has great colors and the deepest black. I want to use it as my main screen with my Mac Pro.
The Mac Pro recognizes its resolution immediately. The only problem is that I need to callibrate the screen size because the OS screen is outside the TV's visible boundaries.
Is there a software inside the Snow Leopard OS X that callibrates CRT screens? Is there something by Nvidia (the card on the Mac Pro is the 7300GT)?

This sounds like overscan. Over the forum, we can't guess whether it's because an Overscan option is on in the OS X Displays preference, or because of a display size setting on the TV. You'll have to check both.

Second you do not have "an iPhoto" - iPhoto is an application that manages photos - the photos are stored (by default) in the iPhoto library in a SQL lite database and you use the iPhoto program to manage them

As to your other OS questions this is certainly not hte best place to address them - we are iPhoto users just like yourself here --- basically as I understand it (and I have had had Macs for 30+ years) there is no "defrag and you do not need one - and antivirus is your choice - most people feel it is a waste of money on a Mac but some like to have it

What is the best practice to move from Outlook 2010 to icloud. I want to sync primarily contacts and calendars.

I would like to move from Outlook 2010 (originally on Exchange) to icloud, however I read lots of bad experiences about this. Has anyone developed a good practice procedure for this? I primarily want to sync Outlook 2010 calendar and contacts with a cloud service and my iphone. I currently use a Dell latitude PC, outlook 2010, have upgraded to iOS 5 on an iphone 3GS (soon to be an 4GS).

I found that you don't need to create separate iCloud contact and calendar folders before installing this, it does that for you (in fact, you can't choose what these new folders are called, or where they go, but I guess you're unlikely to have anything else in your Outlook named "iCloud" before you start.)

Can i put them in my new mac pro which i should get in the next few days?
Im not sure if there is a faster airport now and i should buy that?

Sometimes it is okay, but in the end, you are much better off to clone the drive, erase format so it has a GUID partition scheme. Really.
As for 4 yr old WD drive, keep it for an emergency boot drive or something. I'd say put it in USB/FW case but not everything is happy in FW land lately. Pick up some new SATA drives, they are more than 2x faster, and $100 for 1TB.
