I had to change my apple id and password on my devices but my iCloud account still has old id listed and I can't sign in now. How can I do this?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

I have an apple id with a gmail address and since icloud came out I made an icloud email with the @me.com suffix which I prefer to use as my main email primary address and get rid of the gmail address being associated in my apple id. Once you have created an iCloud account and chosen an @icloud.com address to go with it you can't change that address (short of creating an entirely new account).
However, all is not lost. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.

You mean you've changed the (non-Apple) email address which forms your ID and hence your login? You will need to sign out in System Preferences>iCloud and sign back in again, re-enabling the various data types you want to sync in the checklist there.

How to Change iCloud ID

I installed iOS5 and did not set up iCloud at the time. Since setting up iOS5 I have changed my Apple ID. Now I want to set up iCloud but it shows my old Apple ID that is an email address I don't have access to any longer.
iCloud on my iPhone will not let me edit the Apple ID.
How do I change it so it matches my ID for purchases, etc...

If you want to change your iCloud account to another Apple ID that already exists, you'll need to delete you existing iCloud account, set up a new iCloud account with the other Apple ID and migrate your data to the new account. To do this, first go to Settings>iCloud and turn all synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted, choose to keep the data on your phone. When everything is off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Now set up a new account with the ID you wish to use. Then go to Settings>iCloud and turn syncing for contacts, calendars, etc. back to On. If prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Note: you can only set up three iCloud accounts per device so keep this in mind when setting up new accounts.

I have restored a previous iPhone (4) backup onto a newly purchased iPhone 5c to keep settings/content. The previous iPhone had iCloud enabled. I recently changed my Apple ID due to change of employer - I do not have access to that old email address any longer. How do I change the iCloud Apple ID on the iPhone so that I can enter my new Apple ID into the "iCloud" settings on the iPhone?
I've seen many threads that describe the same problem (e.g. https://discussions.apple.com/message/23106464#23106464?ac_cid=tw123456%23231064 64) but none of the proposed solutions have worked for me.

If you don't have access to your old email account, on a web browser, go to the Apple ID website, https://appleid.apple.com and sign in your current iCloud/Apple ID then edit it to your old email address then Save the changes (NO NEED to verify the email address becuase it's impossible). DO NOT sign out yet. Go back to your iOS device with that old email address then delete your iCloud account. Once deleted, go back to the Apple ID website and rename it back to your current email address. You just have to verify and you're good to go. No need to touch the other 2 iOS devices with the correct Apple ID.
