After creating a new login (bought computer used) and deleting the old one the 500gb hard drive only shows up as 320gb.

So I've just purchased a mid 2011 Macbook Pro 13" used via eBay. Was advertised as having 500gb hard drive and 6gb ram. I checked the ram and it was all legit, checked the hd capacity and it was all correct as well. So I made a new login for myself and deleted the previous owner's. Now my hard drive shows up as 320gb. Even in disk utility and terminal.

One more place to look is SYSTEM PROFILER>HARDWARE>SERIAL-ATA. If it says 320, you have a 320GB HDD which I suspect it probably will. They are easy to replace.

So the answer to my question is yes - from an old Exchange account that was provided by a previous employer.
If so, you can't.
You can't merge or transfer contacts that were synced over the air with an Exchange account with another account, and the same for syncing the contacts direct with a supported address book app on your computer. This is how most employers want it.

You cannot merge accounts. Anything purchased on an account will stay linked to that account and cannot be changed.

Ok. My wife uses itunes for her work and she has asked me to open my own account without erasing the one we currently have so that our music can be seperate. I have my own pc and sync to my own itunes program but our purchases still download to the same account and the money comes from the same account. Can I open a new account and not lose everything? I hope this isn't too wordy but I want to be as clear and explicit as I can for you.
You can't transfer purchases from one account to another account. Apple doesn't allow it.
You can continue to use your daughter's Apple ID in order to continue to use the apps that you purchased with her ID and you will need to use her ID and password any time that you want to update those apps. What you do want to avoid is having to download any of those purchased apps again on any other devices - if you create a new Apple ID.
If you create a new ID and then you sign into her ID in order to download a previous purchase- you will lock yourself out of the new ID for 90 days and there is nothing that you can do about it. So as long as you do NOT download any past purchases with her ID - you will not lock yourself out of the new ID. So you can keep using the apps that were bought with her ID, you can also update those apps using her ID (you have to sign into her account in Settings>Store) but you can't download past purchases without messing things up with your new ID.
When you download a past purchase with a different ID - you associate that device with the different ID for 90 days. This is one way that Apple hopes to cut down on pirating of apps - friends using other friends IDs in order to download apps without patting for them.

The bottom line is that you can create a new ID, still use her ID - judiciously - but you really want to avoid downloading past purchases with her ID. Transfer all of those purchases into iTunes so that if something happens and you need the purchased content again, you can just sync it again rather than downloading it.

I would delete all data from the phone and restore as new. I assume the phone is unlocked. Then I would get the SIM card from the carrier I want to use and activate the SIM with the carrier and po my phone number across. After that I would use the SIM card in the phone and activate the phone using iTunes, a computer and the setup assistant that will pop up in iTunes and you should be good to go. I don't know what you did when you got into the trouble you now have.

What is the new key command to re-record a track- and delete the old one?

It used to be the - (minus) button on logic pro 7. I haven't been able to find it in the new one. or in the pdf manual. Anybody know of hand?

Open the Key Command window. Choose any command. Hit the learn button and type in the command. A message will appear telling you what the command is already assigned to. Then you can change it.

Firefox 4 on Win7 uses 100% CPU for Favicon Animation. Allready reinstalled it, created a new Profile and deleted the old one. Firefox still gets very slow over time. Any more suggestions?

When I get a new TV show, it adds but deletes the old ones. Can you help?

I added an episode of The Office, and the next day I added another one. The first one had gone to my iPod, but was gone after I added the second show. It was still in my library but not in my iPod. I synced it a few times but it just deleted some more videos. I have them checked in iTunes to add to my iPod, but they don't. I earlier deleted another TV show from my library, would that have anything to do with it? I just figured I'd ask the experts. Thanks

You can't merge accounts or copy content to a different account, so anything that you bought or downloaded via the old account is tied to that account - so any updates that those apps get you will only be able to download via that account. You can change which account is logged in on the iPad via Settings > Store
