HT204053 I can't get my account to authorize a 5th computer for iCloud

Please see attached.  I just bought a new MacBook Pro that I want to authorize.  Under COMPUTER AUTHORIZATIONS it says I have 5 computers authorized.  It won't allow me to use the Deauthorize button until May!  I got a message to use this site if I have questions.
Uner MANAGE DEVICES in the ITunes in the Cloud it shows that I have 4 devies.  When I try to add the number comuter it says that I already have 5 authorized. 
How can I actually make sure that the 5 devices I actually want authorized, including this new comuter are authorized?

First of all, AppleCare Phone Support quite likely will not be able to help you resolve this issue, as these types of problems are generally dealt with by iTunes Store Support (they can be contacted via Contact Apple Support/Expresslane as well).
However, it seems to me that you have five computers associated with your iTunes account.  The devices are iOS devices: iPods/iPhones/iPads -- not Mac computers.  So yes, you currently are unable to add this computer, the system is behaving as expected. 
If you want to reset this before may, please contact iTunes Store Support and inquire what options they have for helping you.

    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)

    You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC.

    Sorry, but as scapesuiter said, there is no iTunes Store for Mexico, and no indication if or when one will be set up. So unless you have a legal residence in a country that does have an iTunes Store now, and have a credit card issued and billed to an address in that country, you will not be able to use the iTunes Store.

    If you don't have an Installer disk then you can't install without a purchase. Do you have the grey SystemRestore disks that came with your Mac? It's on that. No, iPhoto is not part of Lion.

    You've read and followed the instructions on the page that you posted from ? e.g. you've tried re-enablng it via : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
    And then logged out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and logged back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it ?
    If that hasn't fixed it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • I have installed Adobe packages and cannot find the Acrobat extension folder please advise how can I get these applications to load onto my computer?

    I have installed Adobe Creative Cloud for teams CC Packages which says that Acrobat XI Pro is installed. Your support page says it does not install Acrobat and I have to look in the Extensions folder for an MSI file.  I have run a number of searches and  cannot find the Acrobat extension folder please advise how can I get these applications to load onto my computer?
    Also I now administer the teams and have accepted the invitation to I received to be a team member and download the apps.  The admin page shows that I have been sent an invitation but does not show my account as "ACtive" unlike my other team members.  I tried to use the link in the invite to accept it become active but the link displayed an error saying I had already accepted the invite... why is no account not active?
    Finally what other product downloads in Creative Cloud do not actually download as part of the Creative cloud Packager for downloading the apps? e.g. acrobat and what else?

    Are you able to copy the contents of the DVD to your computer?  Are you receiving any particular error messages when you are trying to install?  Finally which operating system are you using?

    Yes, that's correct, it won't affect your account or your devices in any way.
    Use the delete account button in the iCloud settings.
    Then enter her iCloud details in the new screen that appears and log in. She should then be returned to the screen above but with her Apple ID at the top, enable the services she wishes to use and then tap the storage & backup option and ensure that iCloud backup is turned on.

    Firefox on my old PC was able to do this no problem.  I have recently switched over to Apple.  Thanks for your help!
    FYI, I am on a new Mac Mini with OS X 10.8.3 and Safari 6.0.4.

    Some websites request the web browser to NOT autofill the username, password.  It is possible the library site is doing that. Your previous firefox on the PC may have been sufficiently old to not be able to handle such a request.  There are password managers you can get to over-ride such things (search Safari extensions).

    It's not currently possible to see a list of authorised computers, but if you have 2 or more computers authorised then, as described on the page that you posted from, you can log into your account on your computer's iTunes (Store > View My Account, Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need.
    Deauthorising a computer doesn't remove any content from it, it just means that you won't be able to use iTunes downloads on it until you reauthorise it

    Right.  Here's what the permissions look like from the Finder Command I:
    I'm not sure what "Custom" means, but when I then try to change it to "Read & Write", it doesn't take.... just comes back as Custom. Interesting to note that not only am I logged into Joan's account where the data folder and file lives) to do this, but when I do it from my own account  as Admin (dunc...mpster) I get the same result.
