I have just installed IoS7 on my I Phone. Having reset the security questions I have been ask for a Rescue Email address. My primary address is not acceptable, I have tried other addresses put but the process will not forward. I cannot go back, my phone now will not function. The Rescue Email address keeps appearing. Help please.
Did you check the email account for a verification email from Apple? You may need to respond by clicking the Verify Now link before the new rescue address will be accepted.

What if someone else put my apple id email for there rescue email address and security for their itouch but i accidently gave them a wrong apple Id what can i do to hellp them and myself with this situation???
No need to get in touch with account security because they will only tell you what I'm about to tell you...
Just log into the appleid.apple.com website > sign in with his/her apple id > go to password and security in the left side > enter the security questions > and from there you can edit the rescue email. -

I recently changed my email address for the Apple Id and it was accepted but now when the App store comes up it still shows my old email address and no password will work. iCloud and Facetime are fine. Don't know why it stays there or how to alter it.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I have everything running fine on my laptop with my new email address and password, but after using the sync feature, it still won't update the old apps on my iPad without using the old email.
That is how it is supposed to work. Apps and purchased content are always tied to the Apple ID that you bought it with. You will have to continue to use the old ID and password in order to update those apps.
You can sign in and out of the accounts in Settings>Store>Apple ID as needed. -

The reset link only appears if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. If you aren't getting the link (you won't be able to add a rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

I went to get rid of my credit card information on my account in favor of using gift cards, when I was asked my security questions. This had never happened before but i answered to the best of my abilties and the answers came up as wrong. Below I was asked if I wanted to have the answers or reset instructs sent to my email, but the email with only the first letter showing didnt match the only email I have ever had. I am trying to change my Apple ID. Try to do this I keep getting an error message saying ‘This email address is designated as your rescue email address and cannot be used as your Apple ID or Primary email address. Please choose another.’ The email address that I want to use did use to be my recovery email but I have changed it, so that address is no lonegr associated with my account. I do not understand why I cannot use it as my Apple ID now. Can anyone help?
