I normally keep my Powerbook in sleep mode with iCal running and everything behaves normall except for the usual slowness at times. However if for any reason iCal has to be closed down on restart it always restores data going back as far as May 2006 that has long been deleted -- I archive anything I want to keep off to a textfile diary so that iCal should always be looking forward. I've found the only way to resolve this each time is to unregister with .Mac the re-register and download correct data from there ... until the next time. (None of the machines using 10.3 exhibit this problem.)
I'm happy to go into the database with a text editor if anyone has clear guidelines on what would need to be done but I don't want to remove entries then to find the database broken.
Lots of clutter also relating to old repeating entries could usefully be hacked out at the same time -- it doesn't show but it does lurk in the database.Further information as I had an unexpected shutdown. The system log shows the following three times at startup:

Any clues as to what is going on? The .ics files in my Library directory after this has happened contain redundant data going back four years but lack lots of recent stuff. I'm tempted to archive them off to a safe place and replace them with file exports from the current calendar as synchronized with .Mac -

Yes, it is the same with me. I know a friend how upgraded to iso7 and lost all of his game center data. He tried singning in and re singning in but no change. Plus on to of all of this, apple is like have me and him to re-validate our itunes acount. Somthing weried is going on. So verified my itunes acount and it shows under settings that I am signed in, but when I go to the app store on my iPhone and try downloading or even updating a app, it says "can not conect to itunes store" after singing in! AND I'M NOT SURE I AM GOING TO UPGRADE TO ISO7 YET UNTILL THEY FIX THIS BUG!!!! HELP! -

Everything should be on your computer.
You should be syncing contacts and calendars with your comptuer regularly.
You should be transferring all itunes purchases to your computer regularly.
You should be importing all pics taken with iphone to your computer regularly.
Most especially before any update.

You can use Find My iPhone
Enter your Apple ID and password of the device you want to find. If the device is still powered up and the SIM card is still in it you might be able to find it. There are options to disable it as well. This is based on you having enabled it when you set up the device. -

SkyIf you set up find my iphone on the iphone itself and it is on and it has note been found and restored, then you may be able to locate it using icloud.
Otherwise you find it as you would find anything else: look for it -

You can't. There is no memory card. It uses flash memory that's soldered to the logic board. If you didn't back it up, your data is gone.

Do you have ActiveDirectory Module which shipped with Windows Server 2008 R2? If you have it, you can complete this task very easily.
#First, you need to import ActiveDirectory Module
Import-Module ActiveDirectory
#Second, generate a SecureString which contains the password.
$securePwd = ConvertTo-SecureString -String "P@ssw0rd!" -Force -AsPlainText
#Third, find the Active Directory users ,and use Set-ADAccountPassword for resetng the password.
Get-ADUser -Filter {Name -like "Test*"} | Set-ADAccountPassword -NewPassword $securePwd

Do You mean miniDV tape (interlaced video PAL or NTSC) ?
If so - iMovie'08 or 09 or 11 - are not tools of Choise if You want a DVD as result - They all discards every second line resulting in less quality.
Sync. Problem - If miniDV tape - How was it recorded -
Audio mode - Is Camera set to record in 12-bit 32kHz - Should be 16-bit 48kHz
Recording mode - SP (60 min on a 60 min tape) or LP (90 min on 60 min tape)
If LP-mode - Then You need - Same Camera as recorded - tolerances is to small even for a Camera of same brand and type to play-back.
I would use FinalCut Express and a setting of PAL/N TSC and 32kHz audio if Camera is set to record in 12-bit
If LP-mode - iMovie HD6 is more tolerant in Captuing than FinalCut and Imediatly after Import/Capture - Extract Audio
And set iM HD6 to NOT IMPORT AS INDIVIDUAL Clips - to many drop outs to work.
