The message is tru, the Mac App Store and the iTunes Store are the same store and use the same account. What does the system want you to do?

    I just bought an Apple Lighting to USB Camera Adapter. When I got home to and connected it to my Canon Rebel EOS Digital Camera. I received the error message "This device is not supported" I was wondering if there is any software or drivers I need to download?

    I use Canon Cameras and have no problems downloading photos from the camera to the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter. My questions and suggestions might be basic but just to make sure:
    1. This is an iPad forum area. Are you using the lightning to USB camera adapter with an iPad? Your info in your original post says iPod. I'm not sure that the adapter works with an iPod.
    2. After you connect the adapter to your iPad and then use a USB cable to connect the adapter to the camera did you turn on the camera?
    3. If you did turn on the camera and still did not get the import of photos to start try a reset your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. This will not cause any data loss.

    The problem was solved by Apple Technical Help. The process is as flollows:
    1. Open Safari
    2. Menu item Safari-Reset Safari - remove all website data - reset
    3. Now if you try to login on iTunes connect it will work.

    Many thanks for this, but it doesn't happen upon start-up, it happens when i select scans on the pasteboard. The programme always starts up fine, it's when i start try and use the program when the problems start.

    Oh my gosh!  I get as far as the store thinking I am about to redeem a song only to have them tell me this apple id has nnot been used tith itune store, review your account information!  I just don't get it! Will I ever get to hear the song my friend sent me.  I am not purchasing a song.  I am not asking for a free song.  the song has been sent to me via my email address. Can anyone help?  I am about to throw the idea of itunes out the window.  Why so complicated????????

    Open iTunes and log in. You can then initiate an iTunes Store account.

    If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

    You haven't opened an account with that Apple ID in iTunes. Open iTunes and log in. A dialog will appear in which you need to enter your Apple ID and/or password. Below it you should see a link for creating a new account. Click on that link to get started.

    Yes it does give me a link. Its tell me to review my account info but when I click on review it then says I need to upgrade my iOS but I am already using the latest iOS. Any suggestions?

    This prompt is usually displayed when your Apple ID needs to be configured for the iTunes Store. We'll need to run through the additional steps to setup your country, and payment information. See Step 10 and above on this resource (For iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch):

    I'm trying to download some purchased TV shows to my iPad Air.  I keep getting the dreaded Download Error Tap to Retry Message.  I've signed out of iTunes and back in.  I've updated my software.  I have plenty of room for them on the Air.  We are taking a long flight this week, and I wanted to have something new to watch.  I've read through lots of threads on this but I can't seem to find a good solution that I haven't tried.
    If I can get them to download them on my iMac computer, can I then transfer them to my iPad?  How is this done?  (Please pardon an older lady's ignorance, and thank you for any assistance!)

    If you can log into the computer, go to the Mac App Store and purchase Mavericks under your AppleID.   Even though its free, they still consider it a purchase.
    If you are not able to log into your Mac you can try on a different Mac.  Once you purchase it, you can stop the download if you want.
    Once you do that then you should be able to reinstall via the Recovery HD

    Ok, you should generally only get this when you are converting your ID to an iTS account for the first time.
    Sign into iTunes with your Apple ID and you should get this.... IRC once you agree or accept it's now an iTS account and you wont get that again.
