I want to change my icloud id on my iPhone, but it won't let me now that i have upgraded. I no longer have the password and the problem is It is using an old id which the email isn't valid and the security question does not think my birthday is valid. I cannnot delete the account because "find my iphone" wants the password linked to this old account. But when i go into the find my iphone app it is using my corect Apple ID. How do i fix this?
If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You can either go to https://expresslane.apple.com, select "More Products and Services", then "Apple ID", then on the next page select "Other Apple ID Topics", then "Lost or forgotten Apple ID password" and click "Continue"; or you can contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).

Hi, not sure what you are asking about. Do you have speakers that use AirPlay and you can't connect your iPhone via AirPlay? That is most likely an issue with your wireless router. Sometimes it helps to switch the router off and on and let all devices connect again.
If the app asks for a sync cable (not sink I suppose) it means the white USB cable that came with you iPhone and syncs via iTunes. -

Is it an account that you've just created ? If it is, then unless the instructions on this page are followed when creating an account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store. You should be able to remove the card's details after entering them.

I have both an i-Phone 4 and a classic i-Pod. I want to download Japanese music on I-Tunes, but it won't let me because they I have an American account. I cannot get a Japanese credit card because I am a foreigner, I would still like to use my American card.

I have a restrictions passcode on my son's phone. I had recently changed the code and now what I thought was the new code, isn't working.
I need to restore the phone, but it won't let me until I turn off "Find my iPhone." I can't turn that off without a passcode.

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'

I need to change my iCloud account on both my iPhone and iPad (used to be a joint account and not in use anymore) but I cant remember the password to delete the iCloud account on either device OR the rescue email to reset password!!! While I can ask to reset the password I have no idea where the reset email is going!
If your current account ID is an updated version of this older ID, try the steps in this article in order to delete the existing account: If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud. The last one (change your ID temporarily) will usually work.
If your current account ID is an entirely new ID that was never previously associated with the old email address, contact the Apple account security team for assistance changing the password for the old ID: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security. -

Are you trying to clear space in iCloud (which is stored on the internet, not in your iPad), or are you trying to clear some space in the internal storage of your iPad? -
I have two computers with itunes. I usually use my home computer to purchase music/audiobooks and then put them onto my iphone, but today I bought an audiobook on my office computer from itunes and when I try to put it on my iphone it won't let me unless I erase my current Itunes library that's on my iphone. How do I get the audiobook onto my iphone without erasing anything?

Please see above. I have both an ipad and and iphoen. For the purposes of facetime, I would like to associate only my email address with the ipad and only the phone number iwht the iphobne. However, I cannot remove the email address from the iphone. So, when I get a facetime via email, it rings on both the iphone and ipad. Settings>>facetime will not let me remove the email.
I wouldn't want to say exactly, however I would imagine that it has to do with the fact you use the same Apple ID on both devices. Since Facetime was activated on the phone, with the number, and then activated on the iPad with the email and same Apple ID, they are somehow linked. I'm not sure that you can separate it without having a different Apple ID on the two devices. Otherwise you can look at this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3367 and see if that helps you any.

Does anyone know how I can reset apple id security questions? In support they show a link but that does not existing anywhere that I can find. I just got a new phone and cannot buy anything without answering the questions but I cannot seem to get the answers right.

My I cloud account will not let me delete old back ups. All of this trouble started when I downloaded the Apple 701.1 I can't do anything. Very frustrated! I have restored my phone several times and I'm losing everything. Not a happy customer right now.!
