is it possible to have 2 Apple ID ?

Yes, but generally not a good idea.  ID content cannot be merged, or transferred so you would be left having to always manage two accounts to maintain your content.

  • Is it possible to have two apple loans under one account?

So back in June my mum took up apple finance so I could get a macbook and pay her each month (I was under 18 at the time and have no credit history) and that went through within a minute no issues..
Now I face another issue, I want the new iphone 5s but still within my current iphone 5 contract I can't get out of but that aside my question is:
Is it possible to have two apple loans under one bank account? (the iphone one being much smaller than the existing mac loan)
If not, I'll simply have to save up £700.
    Thanks~

    Hi babowa,
The reference to two Apple loans led me to believe it was two Apple finance deals in conjunction with, for example, a Barclays Bank tie-up as we appear to have here in the UK.   As you suggest, the payment is a matter between the poster and his mom, but I think that behind all this is the question of whether the poster's mom can have two separate accounts in this way.   Which of course, she can.

  • HT204053 Is it possible to have two (or more) different icloud mail accounts (not alias) under the same apple id? If not what is you best advice for all family members to have their own e-mail and still share the purchases under the same apple id. Thanks

So I basically won't run into any trouble? I
There should be no issues. Its designed to work like that.  You don't change Apple IDs just because you get a new device.

Is there any chance that the phones can fall out of sync?
Unlikely. But nothing is impossible.   Though I don;t see how that would happen. As long as both are signed into the Same Apple ID / iCloud Account they will be N'Sync. (Bad Joke)

If I get a message or buy an app or take a photo on the iPhone 5, how do I get those things onto the iPhone 6?
If you buy an App, you have 2 ways to get it to the iPhone6: If Automatic Downloads is enabled in Settings->iTunes & App Store, it will automatically download to the iPhone 6 when you buy it on the 5 and vice versa if you buy it on the 6, it will download to the 5.
Alternatively, you can simply go to the App Store App->Updates->Purchased and look for the App there and download it. Purchased Apps will not require payment again. i.e They'll be free to download to the iPhone 6 once purchased.
SMS Messages will sync over using Continuity as long as they are on the same Wifi network. Otherwise, restoring the iPhone 5 backup to the iPhone 6 will transfer all messages received up until the backup was made onto the iPhone 6.
Images, can be transferred either through Photo Stream
My Photo Stream FAQ - Apple Support
Or any Cloud service you want such as Dropbox, or One Drive.

Also, something i forgot to ask initially: Should I update the iPhone 5 to iOS 8 first or does that not matter?
If you want the Continuity features as explained above you need to update the iPhone 5 to iOS 8. Otherwise its not all that important.

  • HT204053 I would like to have one apple ID and sign in for the Australian Apple Store and for the New Zealand Apple Store without it asking me to switch stores. Is this possible?

I would like to have one apple ID and sign in for the Australian Apple Store and for the New Zealand Apple Store without it asking me to switch stores. Is this possible? If not can I setup two stores (one in each country) using the same email address and same password (both and / or either)?

An iTunes account can only be used in one store at a time, and you need to be in that country with a valid billing address on your account for that country in order to use it there. An email address can only be linked to one account, so if you want two separate iTunes accounts then you will need two email addresses

  • HT204053 My wife and I have one Apple ID through which we have individually purchased apps using our own iPads. We both now have our own iCloud accounts. How do we separate the original apps between the two iCloud accounts? Will we lose any apps in the pr

My wife and I have one Apple ID through which we have individually purchased apps for her iPad and my iPad 2. We both now have individual iCloud accounts, and she now has an iPhone. For business reasons we now have to separate the apps under our individual iCloud accounts, but will maintain a single Apple ID for purchases. How can we separate the apps?

    Hi Shadow,
The apps are forever tied to the Apple ID that they were purchased under. Your iCloud accounts are also Apple IDs, so although you can sync the apps to your individual device via iTunes, you will be syncing them to the devices, not to iCloud.
Since you are still purchasing everything under one Apple ID, then I'm presuming that they live in a single iTunes library on your computer or Mac? If that is the case, then you would just want to:
Hook up a device to the Mac or computer
Select the device when it shows up under devices
Once selected, the Device Profile screens display to the right - click on the Apps tab, and select which ones you want on that device.
Also check all the other profile pages to make sure they are set up to sync the things you want to sync to that device.
On the info page, you will see that you can sync Contacts & Calendars via iCloud or via iTunes. If you want a single source for contacts & calendars for both of your devices, sync them via iTunes. If you want your own sets of contacts & calendars, sync them via iCloud.
Do you have iCloud set up on the computer or Mac? If so, which iCloud account are you planning on using?
Some of the decisions you will want to make will depend on how you have your computer or Mac configured in conjunction with iTunes. One Apple ID, but one or two User Accounts for the computer or Mac? iCloud on the computer or Mac? What do you want to share and to not share?
    Post back with any questions.
    Cheers,

  • HT204053 My husband and I have separate apple IDs, how do we use the same iTunes account

My husband and I have separate apple IDs , how do we use the same iTunes account

You don't. Each ID is associated with a separate account. Each of you should maintain a separate user account on your computer so as to maintain separate iTunes Libraries. Do not sync your phone with your husbands account or Apple ID and vice-versa or your data will become inter-mixed or worse - deleted from the phone.
Try to understand that iDevices are intended for use by one person with one Apple ID, one iTunes Library, and one iTunes account. They are not multi-user devices.

  • Is it possible to have two apple id's on one computer?

I have an ID and my daughter has one as well. I would like to share music with her. Is this possible if we both have our own ID's? Essentially I want to connect both of our Ipods to my computer and keep all of our music in one place.

    Hi Tigerlily89,
    welcome to Apple Discussions,
I would suggest that you don't have your iPod set to automatically download all your contents of iTunes to your iPod, this way you are free to control what goes onto each of your iPods from the same Library.
When your iPod is connected to your computer and appears in iTunes goto Preferences iTunes and select iPod. You should see a little box at the bottom with words Enable Disk Use.
    Tick this box.
You should see that your iPod's contents in iTunes has now turned black rather than grey. This means that you can now manually drag songs out of your iTunes Library onto your mounted iPod icon on the side of your iTunes.
Eject your iPod via the little eject symbol to the right of your iPod pic in iTunes.
Now connect your Mini to your computer and wait.
Now drag from your main iTune library whatever you wish into the iPod Mini little pic.
You can delete whatever you want to off your iPods by just clicking on the icon then viewing the contents of the iPodusing the top right Browse button.
    Hop this helps you.

  • HT204053 My wife and I have different Apple IDs but would like to share calendars; how best to accomplish this?

Sharing our calendars has become essential. We developed a joint calendar on iCloud. Each one of us has our own Apple ID on our iPhone 4S. How can we both have access to the same iCloud calendar so that we can keep current for both of us? Similarly, on partitions to our MacBook Pro?
    TIA
    Jeff

Select an iCloud calendar, right/command click on it and choose "Shared Settings". Follow the prompts.

  • Is it possible to have two Apple IDs  for one account?

I would like to set up one account with two Apple IDs so I could have one restricted to only free apps and the other unrestricted.  My daughter has an iPod Touch and I want to restrict what she can purchase but also make it so if we agree that purchasing an app for her iPod Touch we can.  New to this Apple ID stuff.
    Thanks,
    BubbaGee

No. Each account needs it uniquie email adresss as the Apple ID.  However, yucan use more than one account on a single iPod and in iTunes.
To change the acount on the iPOd go to Settins>Store and sign out and sign in with the account you wnat. Also see:
iTunes: How to share music between different accounts on a single computer

  • HT204053 It's like I have 2 apple, ids one minute it excepts my I'd and password the next it doesn't

I have always had trouble with my apple Id. One minute I can log on the next minute it does not recognize my id. One minute I'm downloading purchased music the next minute I go to download an app and it ask me for my password which it will not except

Firstly, go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with the ID you use for iCloud. A new password will be sent to your associated email address.
If that doesn't work, for example because it's going to an address you can't access, then you will have to contact Support. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services' at the bottom of the page. In the next page click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password' and click 'Continue'.

  • Is it possible to have 2 Apple computers connected to one ISP line?

I just purchased the latest iMac, and instead of selling the old iMac (4 years old), my wife wants it for her desk... (both computers for home use).  We have one ISP line that comes in... (fiber optics DSL).  Is it possible to connect both computers to just the single ISP line?
    Thanks,

Yes, you can use an Ethernet Cable for both or go Wireless to one if it's setup in a different room.

Not if the accounts are already different, beside most Internet Service Providers allow for several Sub Accounts.
You could remove one account from the old iMac for privacy if you wanted, but it's really not necessary.
Personally when I passed down my old iMac to the Wife and Grandkids, I left most everything intact on it and then personalized the new Mac just for me.
