HT204053 My email is frozen

Can any one help me my email is frozen and my iTunes

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account.  You can either go to https://expresslane.apple.com, select "More Products and Services", then "Apple ID", then  on the next page select "Other Apple ID Topics", then "Lost or forgotten Apple ID password" and click "Continue"; or you can contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).

  • My email is frozen.  what do i do?

I tried to get my email and there is one open that I cannot delete or move at all.  The left side column of other emails is frozen as well.  what do i do?

Try this. Quit the mail app and restart.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

  • My email is frozen when I touch the screen to delete or change inbox can't get it to work

My email is frozen wont do anything can't delete or change inbox how do I fix this

You will need to do what it says, contact iTunes Support, which has no phone support (nor do they have live chat, only email support). Click the Support tab above, then the Get Started link in the Contact Apple Support area and follow the on-screen directions, making the selections as appropriate.
    Regards.

  • TS3274 My Email is frozen - will not respond when touching the screen. How do I get the email to respond?

My email screen will not respond to any touch - it's frozen one email. I can't delete it or move to another email.
How can I get the email to respond?

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!

  • Email has frozen

My email screen has completely frozen and nothing will moves. How can I fix it?

When the Mail app misbehaves I quit Mail like I describe below then reset the iPad. This usually clears up the problem.
to quit an app double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. The reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

  • Email was frozen on ipad2.  Tried to reset by holding sleep/wake button.  Now have a continuous circle on screen.

email on ipad2 stopped working (frozen with no messages showing).  Decided to reset the ipad via the sleep/wake button.  Now all that appears is a busy symbol (white turning circle).  Nothing works at all now.

Have you tried pressing and holding both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which you should see the Apple logo appear, and the iPad should reboot - you won't lose any content.

  • My email is frozen, please help

I attempted to email myself a quicktime video that I believe was corrupted. The email is sitting there in the Mail application. As soon as I click on it everything is frozen and I need to "force quit" in order to be able to access the email again. My email is through comcast and I was able to delete the message there, but I can't seem to get the email off of the apple mail application. I can read all other emails just fine, but as soon as I either right click or left click on that corrupted email it will not open it and it locks everything. How do I get rid of it?

Since this problem occurred, have you restarted the iMac?

  • My email seems frozen. Hasn't worked for 2 days now. Any help out there?

My email has been frozen for two days now. Any help out there? The little thing just keeps spinning and spinning.

It's searching for new mail and can't connect to the server apparently,
Quit the mail app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Try mail again.
Or you can try this as well. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • Email is frozen

My email page is frozen. Stuck on screen for sending new message. Nothing happens when I hit cancel or send.

That works of course, but you lose the email you were writing . . . and my iPad mail app freezes half way through an email almost every day, and I lose the email (usually a long one, say 20 or 30 lines). Any way to unfreeze it without losing my work?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
