Bank of America requires Firefox 5 on Mac for their CashPro online treasury management. I need to find version FF 5.0 to download and install. Help! I just need a link to version 5.0 so I can install it. The website throws and error when using 6.0.#. BofA Tech Support said I needed to downgrade and that was the ONLY solution. I hate large corporations. If someone could provide the link I would appreciate it.
All versions:
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/
BUT keep in mind that the older versions aren't supported any longer and are missing hundreds of security patches that are in the latest versions of Firefox.
thank you -
I bought the iphone 5 and can not purchase anything using my previous apple ID's card details. Do I need to get another account (card) to make purchases?

I created two iTunes accounts: one for business purchases and one for personal. However, when I try to purchase an iBook on my personal account only the business account information appears, and my business password is requested. How can I select a different account depending on the type of purchase I am making?
You would have to sign out of the store with that AppleID and sign in with the alternate AppleID.
Settings -> iTunes & App Stores -> tap the Apple ID showing, logout, then login.
Beware thought that you can only change a device's AppleID association once every 90 days.
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4627
So if you do this, you will not be able to use the other AppleID on that device for 90 days. -
Need unique number ranges for self billing, retro billing, and manual credi
Need unique number ranges for self billing, retro billing, and manual credit/debit memos.
Hi,
I guess you are using different document types for normal billing, self billing and retro. So maintain different numbers for these document types in VN01 and assign the number range in VFOA (document type)
~Thanks!

You cannot change your location if you have credit on your account, if you are unable to spend your credit and leave a balance of zero, contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. -
Need to find all Virtual Comports with VID 403 and PID 6001
I program in AutoIT. In a nutshell I need to find the Comport Number
(not parsed from the FriendlyName and will explain) for all Virtual Serial Ports
having VID 403 and PID 6001. It is a FTDI Virtual Serial Port.
I was using the WMI call to Win32_PnPEntity and excluding ports not having
DeviceID "FTDIBUS\VID_0403+PID_6001". The $oItem.name would than yield something
like "USB Serial Port (COM17)". This is the Device Manage description. I could then
parse out the "COM17" and start communicatin with that port via RS232. The problem....
COM17 is the FriendlyName and the actual port was 25. Yes that is correct.
Device Manager shows "USB Serial Port (COM17)" butif you right click on it and
go to properties the actual port number is 25. I verified it by using putty and indeed
it was COM25. So the "FriendlyName" does reflect the true Comport Number.
I found a little utility by uwe-sieber ComPortMan which comes with a little
utility called listports.exe. Here is the output:
PortName : COM25
KernelName : \Device\VCP0
DeviceID : FTDIBUS\VID_0403+PID_6001+A901R735A\0000
ParentDeviceID : USB\VID_0403&PID_6001\A901R735
DriverKeyName : {4D36E978-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0088
FriendlyName : USB Serial Port (COM17)
As you can see the true Comport is 25 yet the firendly name is "USB Serial Port (COM17)".
So... I need to find a way to retrieve the actual "PortName" and not parse the "FriendlyName".
As mentioned the WMI call to Win32_PnPEntity returns the FriendlyName. A WMI call to
Win32_SerialPort wont work with Virtial ComPorts. I am at a loss. I know it can be done
because the listports utility does it. I have no idea where to start at this point. Help!Quote from:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4061345/how-to-get-the-actual-com-port-number-with-setupdigetdeviceregistryproperty
You can use SetupDiOpenDevRegKey to
open the device's registry and query the "PortName" value; this will give you back something like "COM4". There are a few more ways
to query COM ports.

The App Store has had the little red notification saying I have two new updates to download, for iPhoto and iMovie, but when I go to download them it says "please log into the account you used to purchase the application." I am not sure which account this would be, as I have only had one account on my computer since I purchased it from the Apple Store online.
Please help.
Also, a side note not related to this issue: I have been having problems with system preferences as well, when trying to change the background image the rainbow starts spinning automatically and then it becomes unresponsive.Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
First of all, I suppose that you bought a brand-new Mac, right? If not, you won't be able to update iPhoto and iMovie, because they are registered to another Apple ID.
If you have a brand-new Mac, first try this > http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4236 If it doesn't work, check that iPhoto and iMovie aren't hidden on your account, so unhide them > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928 After doing this, try updating iPhoto and iMovie again.
If nothing works, contact with the App Store support > http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/contact
Respecting to your second problem, your Desktop settings file is corrupted. To fix it, follow these steps:
1. While you are on Desktop without any application opened, select Go menu (on the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type ~/Library/Preferences.
2. Delete "com.apple.desktop.plist" and "com.apple.systempreferences.plist", and restart -
Yeah, so I had a American credit card from bank of America, and I closed my bank account before I left the country.
When I came home I found out I still need to pay like $2.00 but I can't change the country cause I need to pay my bill first,
but I can't because I don't own a American credit card anymore... what do I do??Contact a friend in the USA and have them mail to you a cheap US iTunes Gift Card that you can redeem in your US account. Or, if a friend has an iTunes account, they can use the iTunes app on a Mac or PC to buy a cheap electronic gift certificate for you. The second option would be faster.

Need the SQL Query to check SQL time zone and change the time zone
Hi All,
I am using SQL Server 2008 SP2. My Ex SQL Admin said that the data which we query from our database gives the output in London time.
But the SQL server is located in USA and is having US time.
I would like to know how to find what time zone is the SQL application running on and how to change it ?
Is there any query which i can use to determine and change the time zone ?

HT204053 Need to update icloud account on iphone
I set up my phone a couple years ago with a joint Apple ID with my hubby. We ported to new iPhones and now want to separate our accounts. I can't find the way to update my iCloud acount on my phone. All articles on Apple deal with the FIRST TIME set up, not resetting the iCloud account.
One of the phones can keep the current account; on the one that will be moving go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on the iPhone. After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The other phone will not be effected by this.) Next, set up a new iCloud account on this phone using a different Apple ID and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to this new account. At this point you will have two different iCloud accounts, one for each phone, with identical data on them.
You will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the unwanted data (such as deleting the other person's contacts from your account, and vice versa). These changes will be reflected on each phone. When finished you will have individual iCloud accounts with just your own data on them. -
HT4859 Need help finding & restoring lost info from a cloud
I have been backing up my iphone to a cloud. Somehow half my "Notes" are missing today. How do I restore them from the cloud backup?
Restoring to an iCloud backup has to be done in the initial device setup process, which requires first erasing your phone. If you have any newer data on your phone now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first. When you're done, go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. Then go through the setup screens on your phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. Be sure it is connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.
Apple's documention doesn't make it clear whether or not notes are included in the iCloud backup. Hopefully this will restore your missing notes.
