Our macs were set up with an incorrect Apple ID. Is there any way to change the Apple ID associated with these macs? This causes increased frustration during the updating process. After maverick we cannot edit the id being used anymore.

If you can prove ownership to the Macs, call Apple Care and request the Account Security Team.

You can migrate your device and a copy of the iCloud data to a new account. To do this, start by saving any photo stream photos you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow, then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; your daughter's device won't be effected by this), choose Keep on My iPad and provide the password when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload the data.
Once you are on separate accounts you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account.
The existing iCloud email account cannot be moved to your new account so you will need to give your contacts your new email address if you are giving the account to your daughter.

We had our Mac Book Pro stolen and have not been able to recover the serial number from our Best Buy receipt. We did register it with Apple during the set-up and downloaded music on it thru ITunes. Any chance we can recover the serial number from somewhere? Any details would be helpful. Thank you!

Is there any way to use the Korg Kaossilator Pro with Garageband 6.0.5?

I'm getting pretty decent at working around with the newest version of Garageband. I've gotten my Akai MPK Mini (usb/midi keyboard) to work by adjusting a few preferences here and there, but for the last week I have been trying and trying to get my Korg Kaossilator Pro to hook up MIDI with Garageband. I understand if the program/software isn't as advanced as Logic or Ableton (be getting those soon!) If anybody could help me it would be MUCH appreciated
P.S. if anybody is having troubles with exporting the AIFF/WAV/MP3 audio files I could give you a bit of help. I have figured out how to correctly export the audio loops and sounds that I have made from my Kaossilator Pro into Garageband! It is quite simple actually and is ALOT easier than you would think. Following the tempo/pitch for your song w/ these WAV/AIFF files is really easy too! I have made almost 4 songs now just using samples and loops from my Kaossilator Pro. I just would like to know if anybody has found out how to use it MIDI w/ Garageband? It would REALLY help me out Thanks!

yeeeeah thats what i've been figuring out for the last 12 hours haha. kinda've a pain but hey it works out. u can still throw some pretty cool effects and what not. Even with MIDI cables running from my kaoss pro into my mac doesn't work. i can transfer the loops I make on my kaoss pro to the editor on my comp, then transfer those files to GB then go from there. It ***** there isn't a way to hook it in and sync it w/ GB so you can hit record then start jamming on the kaoss pro. Thanks for the response though!

Thanks for the obvious reminder That was a duh moment. It's easy to forget the simple sometimes when you get involved in troubleshooting when it's not something you do on a daily basis that's for sure. The Toshiba controls have been fine for the life of the Toshiba laptops we have had, but I always felt they were a little limited on options IMHO.
In this instance I needed to utilize some of the added XP options as this laptop actually had the hinge 'sprung' a little and didn't "shut down" or hibernate when you closed the lid.....changed hubby's "normal procedure" for utilizing this "shop laptop" so he didn't overheat and fry the hard drive which is what I believe happened originally to the system that had been working fine until the hard drive was fried. Changed it out, reloaded everything for him only to have the system need to be reformatted again within a week as windows took over. As I was investigating causes I realized the malfunction. Not sure of the how or why, but now have automated shut down backups if he forgets to shut down when he shuts the lid and walks away. So far so good

Is there any way to change waveform generation using formula with user defined formulas

Hi,
I need to build a VI that has in input a formula (Exen(w*t)) and output a waveform.
The waveform generation using formula.Vi that comes with labview has Defined formulas and theu are not dinamic I don't want that.
I try to change with a text control but VI dont generate the graph.
Can someone help me with this please?

If you want to change your formula with a textbow, you can use the Eval Formula Node.vi if you have a full version of LabVIEW.

To change the ID for:
iMessage, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID sign out, sign back in using the other ID.
FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.
iTunes, do this in Settings>iTunes & App Store.
iCloud, start by saving your photo stream photos to your camera roll by opening your My Photo Stream album, tap Select, tap all the photos you want to save, tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), then tap Save to Camera Roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and provide the password when prompted, then sign back in with the ID you want to use. This will delete the account and iCloud data from your phone but not from iCloud. I am trying to change the email address associated with my existing account to free up my university email address for use in obtaining Creative Cloud. Every time I go to the account settings of my existing account (which currently uses my university email, as I set it up years ago and had no idea it'd eventually cause problems), I enter a different email to use for that account but I continuously receive an error message saying "account changes cannot be saved." It makes me think that it's because the email isn't verified (funny, it actually is verified since it has been the alternate email on the old account for years), but when I click the "send verification email" nothing happens (that is, no email is sent to that other email address).
Anyway, my university is now requiring that faculty create new accounts using our university email addresses in order to register/use Creative Cloud. Am I able to delete my old account, or can anyone help me actually change the email address associated with my old account without getting a "changes can't be saved" error?

Is there any way to activate the keep identity setting when using a Transfer SQL Server Object Task?

Is there any way to add the "Keep Identity" option to the tables selected for transfer in a Transfer SQL Server Object Task? It seems that would be very useful, yet I can't find an easily available setting for it. I would prefer to
accomplish this within the Transfer SQL Server Object Task since it can copy any new fields added to the source tables, as opposed to having to rebuild a custom Data Flow Task any time a table structure is altered. I thought setting "CopyPrimaryKeys"
to True would do the trick, but I found that only ensures that the column settings are transferred; when the transfer happens, the destination id column is populated based on the specified seed and increment value, not what's actually in the source table.
I'd like to point out that replication isn't really an option here. This is a package that runs a few times a day to keep some data on our website up to date with data in our protected corporate environment.
