I set up my sisters iPad the other day. I was testing out the iCloud function. And I entered my own iCloud Apple ID. Unfortunately, I can now not change that. So, she is having to use my iCloud account. I need to be able to change the setting on the iPad to her iCloud account. How do I do that?

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

Settings-icloud-scroll to the bottom, select delete, if you want to keep the content select keep, otherwise it'll remove it. Then once it is done add the account information for the account you want on that phone. Your apple ID in settings-store will remain the same and each device can still purchase/use content from that account.

It's actually quite a good idea to give out an alias address rather than the main one, since these can be easily changed should you get spammed.

Some time ago I Inherited my wife's previous iPad along with her Apple ID for ICloud. I have now purchased a new iPad air 2 and transferred the old iPad info however her iCloud email address (gmail) came along with the transfer. I have my own Apple ID set up for ITunes and would like to change the old ID to match so I'll have the same one for both my iCloud and ITunes accounts. Can I please get some guidance on how to do this? She still uses her Apple ID on her devices so I'd only like to make this change on my iPad (and Iphone). Thanks a lot.

I changed my email for my Apple ID but icould will not recognize it so I am constantly getting a pop up to enter my password for my old apple id. How do I change my email for icloud so i stop receiving these pop ups?

All depends on the form of your iCloud ID...if you used an @me.com or @mac.com email/ID then it cannot be changed...iCloud IDs in that form are unchangable.

Impossible to change Apple id for iCloud

Hello,
I have an Apple Id for iTunes on my MB and unfortunatlely I gave another email adress (this means another apple id was created) for iCloud.
So I have 2 Apple Id, and of course I forgot the pwd of the second one (for iCloud) and it's just impossible to change it because for some unknowable reasons :
1- the email confirmation to verify this mail address never arrives on my mbox !!!
2- the asnwer to the private question is wrong !!! Awesome, i think i know my birthday but it seems like iCloud stored a wrong information !!
So I just can't change neither the pwd of this second Apple Id neither the Id itself to come back to a simplier configuration : only one apple id ...
Consequences are awesome :
1- By default, appstore on the iPhone use the iCloud Apple ID --> I can't download anymore apps because i don't have the pwd
2- It's impossible to change iCloud id on the iPhone to put the first one used for iTunes on my MB
The most strangest thing is that on the website https://www.icloud.com/ , I can log on with the iTunes apple Id ....
I called the hotline, they can't answer me and of course, there's no contact mail on iCloud website ....

My wife and I both have iphone 4s. All info is coming up on both phones(calendar, reminders, notes, etc.) We changed one phone with a different apple ID, but for icloud it keeps showing other ID (main acct ID). Hope you can help.

I changed my Apple ID on iTunes and have successfully changed it under the iTunes App Store on my iPad and iPhone, but have not figured out how to change it for iCloud. Do I have to delete the iCloud account (old ID) and set up a new one for the current Apple ID?

Thanks for your response. I've now tried deleting the account, but it prompts for the password to the old Apple ID. I tried both old and new passwords, but as expected, neither worked. I get a message that either the Apple ID or password is incorrect....not surprising since the old Apple ID is the problem to begin with! Any other suggestions?

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple IDand that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

If you want to restore to an iCloud backup you have to erase the device and go back throught the initial setup screens. If you have any data on your phone now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. You will then go through the setup screens as you did when the phone was new. When given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.
After restoring, turn on your iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. in Settings>iCloud and this data will be synced back to your phone.
