HT204053 share icloud account with another iphone

How can my husband and I share one icloud without sharing 1 itunes account?

Yes, but if you do this any data you sync with the shared iCloud account will be merged and appear on both devices.  For example, if you both sync your contacts with the same account you will end up with each others contacts on your device.  (Most people prefer to maintain separate iCloud accounts to avoid this problem with merged data.)

How do I share multiple contacts with another iPhone? Thanks in advance.

    What do you mean share?
It is not possible to send contacts from one iPhone to another without installing an app that would support this.  Bump is one such app.
There is no functionality in iOS to do this.  iCloud can share contacts across multiple iDevices, but it would be ALL contacts, just just a few.

  • HT4436 Can there be more than on iCloud account on a computer?  I have an iCloud account with my iPhone and would like to view my photo stream on my husbands mac.  I do not have a mac but an older PC

    Welcome to the Apple community.
The simple answer is yes you can. On a single user computer, the user can have secondary iCloud accounts, which they can add through the system preferences > mail, contacts and calendars. The only drawback here is that only the primary iCloud account can use photo stream. This can be worked around by having a second user account on the Mac. Each user account could then have a different primary iCloud account, one for you and one for him, your account could then receive your photo stream pictures.
Are you also aware that you can have iCloud on your PC and download your photos stream pictures to it.

  • Create two different iCloud accounts with 2 iPhones (family plan)?

How do I create two different iCloud accounts with 2 iPhones (family plan). Both phones are registered under my name, and when my wife set up her phone with iOS 5, it will only let her log in using my account. I thought it used your iTunes account info, is this not the case?  I really want her to have her own seperate account on her phone.
    --Brian

I resolved it by using our seperate apple ID's. Since we already had our own itunes accounts I canceled iCloud on her phone that was using my account and logged in with hers.  I did read somewhere where you can have multiple iCloud accounts under the same user ID but I'm not sure how that works because that is exactly how ours were set up initially and all the suddon all of her contacts and calendar items were on my phone and iPad and vica-versa . It was a pain to remove them one at a time after I broke the accoutns apart.  I know that doesn;t really answer your question, but that was my workaround. Of course that also mean no app sharing.

  • Can't share iCloud calendar with another user

I'm trying to share one of my iCluod calendars with another person with an iCloud account. The green "share" button is active, but when I click on it, the popup says that the calendar is owned by me, but does not display the "share with" field. What do I need to do to turn sharing on for that calendar?

There's nothing to stop you both setting up the same account, though there's a risk the server won't let you both use it concurrently.
You'll both need to use IMAP if your colleague is to be able to see the results of your activities.
An alternative is for you to assume total ownership of the colleague's account, do your triage and then send on approved messages to a new account set up for your colleague purely for this arrangement. Mail Redirect would allow you to pass messages to your colleague which would appear to have come directly from the original sender, whereas regular email forwarding loses the provenance.

  • How to access my iCloud account on another iPhone?

This is my situation: i forgot my iPhone at home and wanted to access my contacts through my iCloud with my boyfriend's iPhone. But the iCloud.com site wont let me. How can I do it?
And let's say I lost my phone and wanted to know where it is right now with a friends iphone, i can't!
There should be an option to be able to access to regular iCloud site.

You have to go to icloud.com on your computer to do this, not on an iOS device such as an iPhone.  Go to this site, sign into your iCloud account, then you can see your contacts and other data as well as track your device with Find My iPhone (as outlined here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmfc0f2442).

  • Can I share an Account with another user?

I am a current Thunderbird user, as are my coworkers. One of my coworkers is getting bogged down with emails he shouldn't waste time on.
What I need is a way for me to access his email and filter out junk mail and emails he shouldn't be concerned with. So he would need to see any emails I have flagged or starred indicating they need his attention when he opens his email.
In addition to this, my coworker will also need to be able to access and read emails offline. Ideally he would be able to access his email while on a plane and see the flagged emails here as well. Then once he is able to access the internet again, it would be best if he and I would be able to see the updates that he made while offline.
Ultimately, I need to know if I can continue to use Thunderbird and tag team an email account(s) with another user.

  • HT5621 When I got my new iPhone and was trying to switch everything over I accidentally set up a new icloud account with one email and had one on my old iphone with another account. Does anyone know how I can merge the two accounts?

When I got my new iPhone and was trying to switch everything over I accidentally set up a new icloud account with one email and had one on my old iphone with another account. Does anyone know how I can merge the two accounts?

You cannot merge Apple IDs but you can go to Settings > iCloud and 'Delete Account'.  When prompted to turn off documents and data, choose the only option which is Delete from my iPhone, but on the other prompt for Contacts, Calendars, etc you can choose 'Keep on my iPhone'  Then once the Account is Deleted form the iPhone, log back in with the correct Apple ID and choose Merge when prompted.  This will merge your data from this iPhone with that iCloud account effectively putting your devices on the same account.

  • IOS7 issues with getting unwanted contacts from another person who used to share an iCloud account with me....

I used to share an iCloud account with my sister (mainly for music/iTunes reasons). After downloading iOS7, I got all her contacts so I made my own iCloud account in order to separate our contacts, calendars, etc. Now her contacts are gone from my phone list but when I text, they still show up when I am selecting a recipient. How do I get rid them?

Settings > Photos & Camera > Photo Sharing > OFF

How do I share several contacts from one iCloud account to another iCloud account?

    Hi charlesfromlymington,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you would like to share a contact. Please use the information in the iOS 8 iPhone User Guide (page 139) for information on this process. When the recipient receives the contact, if iCloud Contacts are enabled, it will be added to their Contacts.
    manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1565/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf
Share a contact. Tap a contact, then tap Share Contact. See Share from apps on page 35.
    Cheers,
    Joe

  • Can i share my meetings/appointments with another iphone user?

It would be fantastic if I could send my calender reminders and appointments to my family members from an iphone to another iphone.

Yes, you can share your calendar with other iPhones.
    1. You needs to have iCloud calendars
Start Calendar app > tap Calendars (top left) > Choose a calendar you want to share and tap the blue ">" then Add Person.

Can I share books that I have purchased on ibooks with another iphone?

If the other iPhone is on the same iTunes account, otherwise no. That is my biggest heartburn with e-books as a whole, not being able to share, pass-along, resell or donate books you have read, like you can with hard copy books.

  • I share an iCloud account with my brother and he is receiving my iMessages

I share an iCloud account with my brother and our iMessage is linked together so he gets my text messages?

That's correct. If you share the same AppleID for iMessage, messages go to all devices.
If you don't want that to happen, and you want to be able to iMessage each other, then you or your brother will need to get a separate AppleID for iMessage.
In fact, iCloud accounts aren't meant to be shared between different people, as it means you won't be able to have your own independent contacts, calendars, bookmarks etc.
