How do I sign in to icloud from my ipad?

If you mean to icloud.com, you can't.  You can only view data on icloud.com from a computer.
If you mean you are trying to sign into your icloud account to sync your iPad with iCloud, go to Settings>iCloud and enter the ID and password.

  • Where do I sign in to iCloud?

Where do I find the icloud login page?

Don't tap on the app icons in Settings>iCloud, if that's what you are doing.  Those are only sliders to turn iCloud syncing on or off.  Tap your home button to go to your home screen.  Then locate each of the apps, such as Calendar, Contacts, etc.  Tap the app icon to open the app.  The data you see will be the data that is synced to iCloud.
You can also go to icloud.com from your computer browser, sign into your account and open some of these same apps to see the data there.

I am looking for my voice messages on my old ipone that I backed up to icloud?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
You can add more than one account to your iPad, but you can only have one primary account. Secondary accounts which you can add at settings> mail, contacts, calendars do not have all the features of a primary account such as photo stream.

  • HT204053 Where do I log into my icloud

Hi how can I log into my iCloud? Sorry for the ? But this is the first apple product I own.
Also, I want to download the update to ios6 but it won't let me. I suspect it's because of space but I I've pretty much deleted all I can.
If I purchase more iCloud backup storage will that help?
Thank you so much to all :)

Hi David, thank you. Well here's the thing, when I go to settings general usage at the very top it says I have: storage: 672 MB available and 12.9 gb used. If I o to storage it says I have: total 5.0 and available 2.1. I assume that's the "iCloud storage"? What I want to know is. How cannot log into "iCloud" and see what's bee saved so far? Also, I'm trying to download the ios6 software update, but I noticed it says: t the top 626 mb and at te bottom: requires at least 2.5 fb of available storage and the button is greeted out, so I can't download it. If ii buy more iCloud storage can I download it then or is it referring to phone storage or are they the same thing?
Sorry for my lack of knowledge but I'm trying. thanks for everyone's help:)

  • HT204053 How can i sign in to icloud from my ipad to review backed up content?

But i want to review iphone content du
    Oes that make a diffrence

If you're talking about the iCloud backup you can't veiw the actual data contained in the backup, you can only restore it to your device.  You can see the categories of data contained in the backup on your device by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of the device backup in the Backups list and look at the Backup Options.  You won't see anything about the backup(s) on icloud.com.

  • HT204053 I am already signed up for iCloud how do I access my lost notes?

My notes have mysteriously disappeared off my iPad 1st gen. How do I get into iCloud to restore them?

Try going to My Apple ID, clicking Manage your account, then under Name, ID and Email Address look for a link to resend your verification email.  Make sure you check your spam/junk folders for the email as well as your inbox.

I already quoted the minimum requirements, look in the post before yours.
You will have to upgrade your Mac to at least 10.7.5, upgrades are not free, you buy them from the App Store. Mountain Lion is the best but your Mac must be compatible.
Here is a list of compatible machines.
Also note that some older apps (Office 2004, Appleworks) will not run on Mountain Lion.

To repeat my question, Apple offered to install iCloud, and I allowed it. Yet when I try to sign in to iCloud using my Apple ID email and pswrd--an ID that I've been using for YEARS--I'm given the message, "This Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account." What is going on?
Everywhere I search on Apple's Support site says to sign in to iCloud using your "Apple ID," which I did. I've had my iTunes account for years (even migrated from the old AOL account system). It's the standard email+password that everyone is supposed to use.
My main question is how can I have a valid Apple ID and not an iCloud account--if the two are supposed to be linked?
Thank you for any help you can give me!

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. I checked, and at least one other user is having the same issue. I'll attempt to copy/paste the Support request url: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4430653?tstart=0

  • ICloud tells me I need to sign up for iCloud, but where can I do that?

iCloud tells me I need to sign up for iCloud, but where can I do that? It is installed on my PC, and I have an Apple ID. The iCloud setup page does not explain simply how to sign up for iCloud. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Taken from the main screen of the iCloud.com website:
"To use iCloud, first set it up with your Apple ID on a device with iOS 5 or a Mac with OS X Lion."

As léonie pointed out, you need to check whether or not this is really from Apple.
