HT204053 Why are calendars not synching between Mac and iPhone even though it shows as synching on info tab for iPhone? Mac on an OSX 10.6
Can't synch iPhone calendar thru iCloud/iTunes method from iPhone to Mac. Shows in info for iPhone as automatic update, but it is not updating calendar on the Mac. I have OSX 10.6.8.
Thanks, that's what I feared. They assume POP3 users are willing to make a masive attempt to change their
public email address. Fortunately my secondary account, Yahoo, provided IMAP when IOS provided a custom setup for it, and I found I was able to select it as an OS-X mail account too.
As for why Notes weren't updating, I had not realized Notes had suddenly gained an account selector in both Mac and IOS and might be in various places. I was testing by changing existing notes resident on my Mac or USB iTunes synced from there. It works if I move them to the iCloud account and then change them.
I realize now there was an offer at some point in iCloud setup to merge or move some existing things, but I wasn't doing that that day, and I didn't get anouther offer when I enabled iCloud for Notes and Mail!
It might also help to go to setup->Mail... and set Fetch New Data to push, which should propagate the changes faster.

Why are apps not syncing between my iPhone and iTunes?
Hi! When I connect my iPhone to my computer and sync with iTunes, everything gets synced except my apps! If I get a new app in iTunes, it will not sync across to my iPhone. I have to download the app from the App Store on my iPhone. If I delete an app from my iTunes, it does not delete on my iPhone. I have to delete it myself from the iPhone. I cannot move apps across iPhone pages in iTunes and have it sync to my iPhone, either. Yes, my iTunes is authorized, and the Run Diagnostics all works with no errors. What am I doing wrong? What setting do I need to change? Thanks!
I just want to clarify that the syncing process goes through all its steps: preparing, contacts, calendars, notes, email accounts,... then "determining apps to sync" flashes really fast, and the syncing ends without doing anything with my apps!

Why won't Notes sync between iPad and iPhone?
I own an iPad and iPhone and use MobileMe. My contacts, calendar, mail and iDisk all sync properly but I can't get Notes to work.
On my iPhone Notes, I have the option of selecting the following accounts:
From my PC
MobileMe
My 3 different email addresses
I have placed my notes under both "From my PC" and "MobileMe."
My iPad doesn't even give me the option to select the various accounts in the same way the iPhone does.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I couldn't find any other topics that are having problems similar to mine.I purchased my ipad at a Apple store and the salesman sold me the mobileme convincing me that everything including Notes would sync in the clouds! I still cant understand why we're paying for something that doesn't yet work. This is unacceptable. I just want my NOTES to seamlessly sync between my iphone, ipad and mobileme just like everybody else. Is this too much to ask or expect? Besides, isnt what thousands of paying mobileme subscribers expect.
I want my NOTES to be identical on all platforms and not have to check my mail accounts. As far as my Notes taken with my Ipad, they don't sync anywhere and spent endless hours trying to figure it out only to find out that the sync feature is not yet available for the Notes on my ipad. Thanks Apple! You succeeded to mislead me and taking my money in advance. How long do we have to wait for this to be resolved? We have the right to get a truthful answer and don't appreciate being fooled. -
Why aren't notes transfering between iPad and iphone
Using I cloud and have notes checked off to sync but they are not moving from iPad to iPhone 5. Everything else is transfering - contacts, pictures, etc.
Notes located in the "On my mac" or "on my device" (but not in the "icloud") sections will not sync to icloud. Could that be the problem?

Why are there print differences between Reader and Acrobat Pro
I have a PDF file generated by InDesign (CS3). When I print the PDF from Reader (8.1.4) I get lighter text than when the same file is printed by Acrobat Pro (9.1.0). A close examination of the printed letters shows that the text printed from Reader is not solid black, while the text from Pro is solid black.
Is this typical or is there something I need to do to improve the printing from Reader?I am a CADD Coord. (CADD Mgr)designer) I used to do a lot of design. Just recently we have noticed that anything printed from Adobe, the reader or the full version, is printing so lightly in many cases that it looks like it is missing data. whenever we create teh PDF from Autodesk products or Bluebeam Revue, it is the same. Bluebeam prints perfect. Yet the exact same file printed through Adobe is very, very light. Even printing as image it does this. And it appears at random. Some people print ok, but the exact same printer sent by someone else, using the same method, comes out too light in Adobe.
I have contacted Autodesk and they have punted it back. Anyone have any answers or clues to fix? i send out deliverables for clients all the time and I hate to find out they print and miss something of the design. -

I cannot connect to the iTunes store on my iPhone for some reason. I have reentered the password, shut the phone on and off a few times and have been able to connect to the iTunes store on my computer. This is a pretty big problem and I don't understand why it is happening.

Once the user fills in the comments, they are saved as SOFM Objectsin DECISION_NOTE (this too is multiline element). All we have to do is bind it back to the workflow container in _ATTACH_OBJECTS.

For the wait step part.... the attachment is added to the mail step via the binding from the workflow...._ATTACH_OBJECTS from Workflow to _ATTACH_OBJECTS of the email task...not sure where you want me to set a wait step. Request you to please elaborate a bit more.

Why does playlist on iPod keep repeating and repeating even though play count rule is 1
Hello, everyone!
I have a smart playlist of about 100 songs. The play count rule is set to play songs with a play count of less than 1. A few days ago, I reset all of the songs play count to 0. If you ask me, the way I have it set up, when the iPod is playing with my headphones on, the iPod should automatically update each songs play count to 1 after each song plays. After I have listened to all 100 songs, the playlist on the iPod should be empty. The reason is is because since each song was updated from their play count of 0 to 1 after each one played the play count rule in the playlist should show no songs in the playlist. Like I said before, the rule says to play any songs with a play count of less than 1. Since all of the play count of the 100 songs are now 1 and not less than 1, the playlist should be empty.
The problem is, when I'm listening to my iPod and the 100 songs have played, the playlist is not empty. It just keeps repeating songs and it will never stop. When I go to iTunes, the songs are randomly with play counts of 3 or 2 or 1 or however many times they have been repeated.
Does anyone know why this is?The reason the songs don't delete themselves after playing from the playlist on the iPod is because your iPod is not smart enough to do that. It's only when you re-sync your iPod to your iTunes library does the smart playlist in your iTunes library delete the played songs. Then the playlist on your iPod will adjust to the number left unplayed in that playlist.
So as long as you don't sync back to your library the number of songs in that playlist will never reduce to zero.

I think I may be having the same issue In a round about kind of way. Just got an iPhone4S ... everything worked great until today when I started tinkering with the settings in my new phone and noticed my cloud was getting full and I had two iPhone back ups on there at 4GB a piece. So.... I deleted the old back up of the iPhone4 and after that is when I started noticing issues. The cloud on my phone can no longer authenticate itself , unable to tell me when the last back up was, and will not perform a back up at all. Furthermore I am unable to download apps or updates on my iphone4S, they all sit in "waiting" status....
I also must say that I purchased an iPad 2 and still have my original ipad in the house and active. Both back ups are in the cloud and both devices work fine independently and can download apps and back up fine as well. I'm pretty sure this may be the culprit concerning this issue and I too have no idea how to fix it. Please Help!!! -

I have an iPhone 5 running at iOS7.1.1. The Calendar list mode previous to iOS 6 showed all past entries, which I found very useful. After the upgrade, it only showed the previous 12 months (as I recall). All past entries are still present, you just have to exit list mode to see them. I'm asking this now after finding the forum for the answer to rediscover the list function in iOS 7.

There are a few tv shows that played this week that are not available on itunes from tnt. Why are they not available for download. We watch these each week, and I have checked to be sure that there was actually an episode this week, and there was.
Under other "sync-able" players, there's usually the "Sync only checked items" radio button. Not for the 2.0 Apple TV. There's no option, but acts as though that option ("sync only, etc...") has been selected. Figured it out after an hour of walking back and forth from my Mac to the TV. Argh.
Try it. De-select the shows, sync the AppleTV and look under the "TV Shows" and the one's you've unchecked will not be there.

iPad IOS 7.0.2 and Mountain Lion 10.8.5 Calendar colors do not match between computer and device. Problem did not exist until updated IOS arrived. Colours change of their own free will despite being corrected on both iPAD and MacBook Pro. Any answers?

Go to your hard drive, enter library, go into users, and go into launch agents and delete the thing above. Empty the trash and restart. -
Hello, I live in the German speaking part of Switzerland (and have a credit card address here too) but want to watch films in English, Italian, or French. Why are films not available in these other languages ? Unless I am mistaken, iTunes Switzerland is far from Swiss and does not encourage its people to watch films in the local languages of its country (at least French and Italian would be good too...). Can anyone help ? Do I have to move to Geneva to watch a non French film in French or Lugano to watch a non Italian film in Italian or simply buy a DVD to get round it?
I have the same problem. I want to watch any movies in French (in the original, or subtitled and/or dubbed). But I cannot seem to find any on iTunes. Does iTunes offer any content in other countries (I live overseas) in the languages of those countries?

I need the date and a counter to show (superimposed?) over the video in my iMovie. I know the date and time recorded was imported with the video files from my DV camcorder because they are available in File Info. The video recorded was a court deposi
