HT204053 why doesn't my 5s back up all my photo's and info from my 4s?
why can I not back up all my info from my 4s to my 5s? It only backs up my contact lisy but no pix or any other information. And how do I log into my icloud account on my pc?
First be sure the new phone is running the same or higher version of iOS as your 4s was (you can check in Settings>General>About>Version). If it isn't, you have to update it first.
Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, then go through the setup screens on your phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts, choosing the backup of your 4s to restore from. Be sure you phone is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup.

To back up iPhoto you make a copy of the Library on another disk.

Without more information, speculation is a waste of time. At the least tell us what you do, what the results are, and how that result differs from your expectation. Then tell us what steps you have taken to resolve the issue, and what the results of taking those steps was.
once you choose repair does it give you an indication it is working?

I have an iPhone 5 running at iOS7.1.1. The Calendar list mode previous to iOS 6 showed all past entries, which I found very useful. After the upgrade, it only showed the previous 12 months (as I recall). All past entries are still present, you just have to exit list mode to see them. I'm asking this now after finding the forum for the answer to rediscover the list function in iOS 7.

i was on windows 7 and i had to format my computer i put windows vista on and when i downloaded itunes and sync my iphone i lost all my photos music and apps that was on my phone,my itunes account says i have got to accounts on two computers?? is there anyway i can get anything back? please help me. i have tried restore to back up but it is the same????
If they really meant that much to you, they would have been copied off to a computer at the earliest possible opportunity.
I personally find it amazing that people get so upset when pictures "accidentally" get deleted and then scream about how important they are. You wouldn't leave important paper work lying around to be lost/damaged/stolen, so why take a chance with important pictures on a device that can so easily be lost/damaged/stolen, or deleted by a child. -
I am getting my phone sent away to be serviced. So i want to back up all my photos, contacts, etc wo when
I recieve a new phone i can just continue on.You should be syncing wverything with your comptuer regularly. It should all be there.
Contacts should be in whatever program you have chosen to sync ( Outlook or address book for example). Sme for calendars.
All of your itunes content should always be in itunes and included in your regular backup of your computer.
Pics synced to iphone from your computer should be on your computer and included in your regular backup of your computer..
Pics taken with iphone should be imported to your comptuer regularly as with any digital camera.

My phone was stolen, but I had no data left and so can't locate it till the person who has it tries to use the internet. I backed up all my photos on iCloud, and want to get them on my PC. I installed iCloud onto the PC and followed the instructions and still can't find my pictures, says my photostream folder is empty, but it shows on iCloud that i've used most of my storage which is true, so they must be there somewhere?

I have two iPhones. I just backed up all my photos on my old phone using iCloud but when I log into iCloud on my new iPhone nothing appears? The GB for the photos has been taken from my iCloud allowance so how do I retreive them on the new phone
if you have a laptop just transfer them that way

i had too many photos on my iphone and they all suddenly turned black , so i plugged the phone into my computer to convert them but suddenly all the photos dissapeared and only a few were converted, and now when i open camera roll to see the photos it sayys ' no photos or videos ' , even when i take a new photo and enter to see it it still says the same thing . and when i plug it in the computer it shows that it has photos in " my computer " but when i enter the folder to see them there aren't any , how could i possibly get them back ?

Why would I want to change JPEG quality of photos when exporting them from iPhoto? Changing the quality of the print changes the size of the saved file and thus impacts the speed at which it is moved on the internet. But other than size of the file, what is the advantage of changing the quality?
I have no idea why you would want to do anything
Some people want lower quality to reduce file size for different reasons
It is an option - if you do pot want to do that do not use that option

I have PSE8 and am running Win7 64 bit laptop. I want to back up all my photos to a flash drive. I can't seem to do this within my PSE8, just gives me the option of copying to a CD or DVD. Should I be doing this from My Pictures or can I do this in PSE8? Not very good at this type of thing so would appreciate instructions. There are 9600 photos but only equal 12 gigs. Thanks.

I did a restore from backup this morning. After it completed the restore I lost all of my pics and videos from Saturday. Can anyone assist in retrieving my files from iCloud? Thank you.
Have you not backed up or transferred your movies to your computer at any point before you dropped your old iPad?
If the only copy of these movies was on the old iPad, and that iPad is now gone, then so are the movies that were on it. -
