I have changed my Apple ID, now my iPhone won't see my account. The help page tells me to click Manage Devices in the iTunes Account Information screen, but I can't see this heading. Can anybody help please?

In iTunes go to Store>View my Account>'type in password'>iTunes in the Cloud>Manage Devices.

In your case you can only restore from a backup that has been created with the same iOS version. An iPhone 4 can only run 7.1.2, and, unless your iPhone 5 did not run the same version, you can't use a newer iOS backup of the 5 on the iPhone 4

Over the air sync can be changed on your iPhone

iTunes says that "Your contacts are being synced with your iPhone over the air from MobileMe.
Over-the-air sync settings can be changed on your iPhone".
How do I change that so I can sync my contacts with Windows Contacts? When I tried to sync with MobileMe I lost all of my contacts and I want to get them back on my iPhone.

I did the same thing deleted my email account and recreated it, went with the same settings and same issues.
I certainly am not a Mac or iPhone expert, but I can tell you what happened to me then. I obviously had the same issue with "over air sync can be changed on your iphone" and my contacts had been wiped out. I was concerned as I had lost all my contacts off the iphone however my mobileme account had all of the contacts there. I found that all I had to do was give it some time to really sync between mobileme and the iphone contacts. I was being too impatient expecting them to appear instantly once I agreed to the sync with mobileme. I left it for a few hours and the contacts finally syncd.

I have downloaded every update and my battery life is better than any previous iPhone I have ever owned. I see posts from hundreds of people every day, and this is not a commonly reported problem. While there are a few random reports of battery problems, it is no more than I have seen for any other model or any other version of iOS in almost 8 years. The simple test is to restore the phone as New. Do not create any email accounts. Do not install any apps. Do not enable FaceTime or iMessage. Do not enable Twitter or any other social networking app. Use it for a day and check the battery usage. You will find that it is working well.

My online searches have not found an answer -- I did find a discussion thread that was essentially, "Why would you want to do that?" Those posts are not welcome! Not looking for a work-around, an intermediate step, or the need to change the file format on a computer, etc. Just want to hit the two buttons and have the resulting capture be a JPEG file.
Not interested in jailbreaking or using apps that require jailbreak -- Want to do this with a new phone.

First make sure you are searching the name correctly.
If the app is no longer in the App Store it is no longer available for download. This happens when Apple has found the app violates the agreement with the developer or when the developer no longer wants the app listed in the App Store.
If the app is truly no longer in the App Store your only option is to copy it from iTunes on the computer you normall sync with.

Activesync: changes on IPAD/IPhone not reflected in Exchange or viceversa

This last few weeks we are trying to seek a solution for the next issue:
If a user changes the subject-field of a received email in his Outlook inbox the changed subject is not synced to his/her IPAD or IPhone. This is the same if we perform the change on the IPhone/IPAD and it is not visible in Outlook. The email is synced
without issue and there are no error messages.
We have upgrade the IPAD/Iphone to IOS 8 and the mailbox runs on MS Exchange 2010 Enterprise SP3 Rollup 7.
is anyone familiair with this issue?

I got the same problem at a customer I am supporting. It doesn't change a changed Subject of a Mail that is synchronized already to iPhone. Exchange 2010 and iPhone newest version.
However, if I do this with my Windows Phone it works fine and Subject got changed. That means that Active Sync is able to do it.

My apple ID changed on my iPhone today. Even though it says my original ID in my settings, it pops up as .me.com when I go to update Apps. Please help!

That is the same Apple ID. When you sign up for an Apple ID on an iOS or Mac OS device it gives you an alternative email address which is either @me.com or @icoud.com. But never the less it is all in the same account.

Album covers come changed to the iPhone!

When I sync music to my iPhone 4 with iTunes all the album covers come exchanged. I see them well on the computer but then they are all changed on the iPhone!

First try removing all the music from your phone. Once done, reconnect your phone to iTunes and add all of your music back. See if doing this fixes things.
