Just sign in to iTunes or the App Store on the device – you might have to download an app – and it will automatically be added to your Account.

If you want a device or computer to show in the 'manage devices' section then the page that you posted from tells you how e.g. use iTunes Match on it, use automatic downloads on it, or redownload past purchases from the account - it should then appear in 'manage devices'

You would just need to sign into your Apple ID through Settings > iTunes & App Store to associate your device to your Apple ID. This will give you access to all your previous purchases made with your Apple ID. You may be asked to answer your security questions as an authentication method on new purchases with the device.

The Manage Devices page of View Account shows 2 devices attached, my desktop PC and my iPad Mini. I have 3 other devices to attach: my iPhone; my wife's iPhone; and my wife's iPad Mini. My son rec a used iphone 4 for xmas. We created an apple id for him however i do not believe we ever downloade/backed up to an itunes account yet. He somehow tried to update his phone now it is stuck saying it needs to doa reovery. He cant use it. I pulgged it into our computer and my other sons itunes opened up and tried to recover but of course nothing is there. Are you able to just add a device to the same itunes account or do I need to create an entire new one for this phone? and if new will he be able to share music with my other sons account?

I am trying to remove my daughter's ipod from my account as she broke it and we are replacing it with a new one. I no longer want it listed as one of my devices. However, there is NO "Manage Devices" option anywhere on my screen!!! I have looked everywhere and cannot see that? On the tech support page it says just go to the "Manage Devices" and remove it??? HELP!

In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.
