HT204074 my iphone has an old id and i cannot add music through match. what do i do?
My Iphone 6 plus will not allow me to add music through my iTunes match as it has an old Apple Id. it is telling me that I have to wait 90 days as this device is already associated with another ID before I can add my iTunes match. Is there anyway I can change this?
No, nothing to do with iCloud.
You are using the same AppleID for iMessage. You need independent AppleIDs to not receive each others messages.
Create a new Apple ID for one of you, then sign into it at:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > Apple ID

Iphone 4s calendar events disappeared and I cannot add new events
I have an iphone 4s with ios 7. Suddenly all events I added on my calendar disappeared and I cannot add new events. The plus sign+ is there but it is light grey and will not activate. I do not sync it with any other calendar
What account were you using to sync your Calendar? Make sure that account is added to the device, and make sure that Calendars is turned on for that account.
Then, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and make sure that under the Calendar section that 'Sync' is set to 'All Events'.
Then go to the Calendar app, go to Calendars, and make sure that you have that account enabled.
Then, close out all the running apps on your device, and restart it.
Open up your Calendar app. Are your entries back? -

My iphone has a black screen and the reset won't work. What else can I do?
Today my phone screen went completely dark and all I could see were some faint vertical lines. It's on as it's still receiving messages but I can't access or see anything.
Based on other similar questions, the answer seems to be to hold the on/off and home buttons together until something shows but nothing has happened after a few attempts of holding it for a while. Do I have any other options or do I need to go into a store?

My Safari screen has a gray background and I cannot navigate by touch. What happened?
My iPad screen background has turned gray when i go to Safari. i cannot navigate or use the sites. What has happened? It just occurred.
To rule out a software problem try one at a time in order:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore the iPod from backup via iTunes on the computer
- Restore the iPod to factoery defaults/new iPod
If still problem, either make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store or call AppleCare (1-800-MY-APPLE) for warranty service. -

Had asked for help with iCloud 3 weeks ago. Cloud has my old email and I no longer know the password, wont't let me sign in with new email. When I talked with apple cust service they assured me that everything associated with apple would change over. NO it did not! Cannot find how to get cloud to change this. My Iphone says I have not backed up in 9 weeks because of iCloud. Can anyone help me or give me some advise please

Sandie PSame thing happened to me. My son's iPod touch suddenly started indicating that my "username or PW had changed" or was "incorrect" so I paid Apple $30 to find out that all that was required was updating the software by plugging his iPod into my computer & syncing with iTunes. My problem was then solved.

I updated my Apple Id and password by email and received a confirmation. However my iphone still has the old ID and wont recognize either. How do I update the user id on my phone? I assumed it would update when I restarted butit did not

Your old ID connects to an icloud account containing all your data (email, contacts, etc.) If you then use a different ID, you will connect to a different account, which results in losing all your "apple" data, like emails, contacts, calendars, etc.
However, Apple IDs are also used to connect to an itunes store account, with is different. You can keep using the old itunes store ID to keep all your purchases (but if you change to a different ID, you will lose all purchased items) and use the new ID for icloud (but losing emails, contacts, etc. from the old account). -
my iphone has been water damaged and in the mean time ive gone back to using my old phone. But i need to get all the contacts from my iphone i had synced to my laptop, but i don't know where to find them and im not sure if ive backed them up to anything!
If your contacts are synced to your computer then they are in the supported app you are syncing with.

To change the iCloud ID on your device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID.
If you are changing to a different iCloud account and need to migrate your data to this new account, when you are prompted about what to do with the iCloud data be sure to select Keep On My iPad. Then when you sign into the new account, when prompted choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account. -

I have an iPhone 4 it won't let me download any apps I keep getting the message that my device has no memory left and I do have 1.9G left what's wrong as far as I know everything is up to date on the phone it is running slow please help thanx!
I figured out what was going on the app had miss represented how much space it would take it had said it was 1.2g's however it was really 1.9g's which was all I had left on the phone I downloaded it to my computer first from the apps store then was able to see this. At that point I was able to rearrange some memory to accomadate it's size thanx for the help.

In your case your only solution is to restore it ( see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 ) and you may need to force it into restore mode to do that. This will wipe everything off it and reset it as new, without the passcode. You can then redownload purchased content, buy unless you have a sync'd copy of your contacts and photo's they will be gone.
