'You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 67 days.'
What is this? It's the most frustrating thing, and I just wnt to scream 'I DIDN'T'. 23 days ago I did because I was unaware of the new 90 day rule.
But this time, i didn't do anything. I was watching a TV series, and I was purchasing the episodes one at a time (in hopes that this would encourage me to stop and go to sleep after i finished the next one). Anyway I had just finished watching episode 3 and purchased 4 and it had begun to download, when I left my laptop to go get something to eat came back n it had obviously gone into sleep mode. so had to continue the download BUT when I try to continue the download the 'message' pops up. I haven't signed out, it's purchased under j_akale, so I don't understand.

Frist tip, after installing software updates (I assure your machine started off with 10.4.2 and when you first used it, you were promted to update to 10.4.4.), go into the utlities folder (under applications) open disk utlitity and verifity and repaire disk permissions, this will greatly boost preformace and may fix your problem. (In fact do this once a week) Go ahead and run the Techtool (Applecare hardware test CD) and check for any problems. If these come up with nothing, I'd call Applecare and tell them what is happening. Applecare will cover you at any Apple dealer and some Apple resellers as well. Going elsewhere will kill your warrenty BTW.

My Ipad dropped dead. I had 89% charge left. Imac have black screen. Start Computer sound come on, no picture. The last time I used the computer I put it to sleep, it never came back. i tried everything that was suggested including puting in the start up disk. The disk would not eject. Some one suggested how to remove it and that did work. Computer going to Apple hospital Tues. July 3, thank you for all the suggestions.

Delete ALL your email accounts.
Restart Playbook
Put the accounts back and ensure they are all set with PUSH ON. Manual (push off) will burn battery.
Similarly delete your wifi connections and add back when required.
Turn off wifi is not connected to wifi.
Any "hunting for connection" in email or wifi will burn up battery. -
I have a WD Passport HD attached to my Mac. When it was last connected it went into sleep mode and ran out of battery. Now I cannot find my HD in Finder and Disk Utilities is telling me it cannot repair the HD. I can see the HD but the volume part is greyed out. Any ideas on how to recover my data?
There are other methodologies of scanning a HD
which involve data extraction, but loss of metadata is often the result if the directory is corrupt.
Metadata is the info on what the data IS.
Like having all your papers thrown in the air, its all there, but just a giant mess.
This is why you always always must have several external HD redundancies of your data. One isnt enough, neither is two really.

The problem is not happening with any other device that I have. My iPad, iPhone and another laptop all connect fine. In fact, it's not even the connection. The computer will connect to the net. It just will not open any page. It starts to open and then hangs and hangs. It will not move. Weird since it worked great for three weeks and then all of the sudden, nothing. Click on Safari and I have short hope that it will move and NOTHING! Any thoughts why it would hang up like this and only with this specific network?
This is a known Lion issue, hopefully solved in 10.7.3. But may not be solved immediatly after updating, that was my case.
To make it work i followed those steps.
1.- Restart
2.- Lion 10.7.2 Update
3.- Uninstall netwokrs
4.- Shut down
5.- SMC reset
6.- Reinstall networks
I dont know whether all the above steps are necessary, but for me the update didn't work properly before SMC reset. (I am running a MBA mid2011)

IPhone 3gs wont turn back on once it goes into sleep mode!
2 days ago my iPhone 3gs (OS 6.0.1) has gone completely wacko on me and i'm completely frustrated! I have my phone set to have the screen shut off after 5 minutes. Usually, to just reaccess the phone I just simply hit the home button. Now, if I let it go into sleep mode, the phone WILL NOT come back on! I went online and did some research, and it suggested holding the home button and the sleep button for 10 seconds to get it to come back on. It works most times, but sometimes it takes a few tries to get it to come back on, and when it does come back on it takes forever to load up. But the whole thing happens all over again when it goes into sleep mode. My phone is fine as long as I set it to never go into sleep mode, but it is killing my battery. I need to be able to put it into sleep mode as I have to be able to go all day without charging it at my job. PLEASE help...I don't know what's going on with it. I have never done anything to it (jailbreaking, illegal stuff, etc.) and I do all the updates that it asks to do.

I bought a new app ($0.99), bought $19.00 worth of on app purchases and the app crashed, now it says that I have to start a new game since i had just started it and didn't get a chance to save it, so my question is, how do i get my money back?

hello i just came back from the apple store and they had to restore my phone and i just downloaded all my apps and music back but my photos that are on icloud i only got 80 out of 768 back. what do i do to get all of them back?
If you tried to restore to your iCloud backup and your photos didn't fully restore, first go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and make sure it isn't still in the process of restoring.
If the restore is complete and all your photos weren't restored, all you can do is try restoring the backup again. You might try the solution posted by ezjules in this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19518589#19518589. This involves opening the photos app after the phone restarts and you provide the passwords for your Apple IDs, then leaving it open for the remainder of the restore process. -
i have albums that will not sync now. I have only owned my ipod for 5 mo and it appeared to sync fine. Now it say that the process is complete but there are 3 items that will not sync to my ipod. I i just purchased from the store!! please help! thanks maggibnd

am facing a problem whereby my new iPad came up with a message saying that "Not enough storage: This iPad cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storgae available......". In addition to that, I coulnt even press the " close" or " settings" that poped up with the message, and I couldnt use the iPad. i had recently followed orders to restore my iPhone 3gs (iOS 6.1) from a question on apple support. However it was working fine before that, it's just that my phone didn't have signal. So it said to restore my iPhone and now it says that the Activation server is temporarily unavailable and when i plugged it into my mac, it said that i ddn't have a sim card installed. What can I do to fix this besides bring it to the store? it also bugs me because this answer was supposed to work but it just messed my phone up even more. I just updated my Iphone 3GS from 4.3.3 to 6.1. Now is says that my SIM Card is not supported by my carrier. I called Rogers and he says to restore my phone. But I can't get there is it won't recognize my phone. Help!
Insert a SIM from a supported carrier.
Where did the phone come from, it sounds like the device has been hacked or jailbroken to be unlocked and updating has re locked to the original carrier. It is also possible that the SIM simply needs to be reseated or replaced. -

I have my iphone4 activated and working since 3days, i purchased it from ebay with 1year warranty, when i check the serial number from Apple store at Bangalore Forum mall, they say that it does not show anything and 'OUT OF WARRANTY'.
Now i have a problem in it, all icons just shake and system hangs, needs restarting.You need to go back to the person you bought it from. Sounds like they may have sold you phone that is not as described.

The image came up on my screen saying that I need to connect my iPod to iTunes, but I have a passcode, so it won't allow me to. And I want to try and turn it off, but my touch screen doesn't seem to be working either, so I can't even turn it off since you need to "slide to power off." HELP! I'm leaving on Thursday morning for six and a half weeks, and I absolutely need my iPod with me.
