HT204074 why itunes match cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days.

i have two country ID. i bought several songs in US then download it. i try to add the music in my TW itunes match but cannot use and need to wait for 90 days. how to combice two country music together?

I have actually been using Amazon cloud for a while now and never had this problem. Actually, I think I did get locked out once and was able to get back in by contacting support and answering some questions. This option isn't available with Apple.. They lock you out for 90 days regardless of whether you can verify your ID. I know this because I contacted them recently and they verified my identity exhaustively and then said 'sorry-there's nothing we can do and you are not  getting a refund for time lost.'  I think I understand why the policy is there, but I think it's ridiculous that they make no exceptions even when the mistake is on their side, which I'm pretty sure it is in my case.

  • I purchased a new iMac and can't download Pages update. The message said that it was purchased with another Apple Id or by different user.

Update Unavailable with This Apple ID. This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.

Perform the following, stopping with the first one which works:
    1. Open the Mac App Store's Purchases tab. If you're prompted to accept it and the other iWork/iLife applications into your Apple ID, do so.
    2. Move them out of the Applications folder(they may need to be put into the Trash temporarily), and then see if you can download them for free from their individual product pages. If you're asked to buy them, see #3.
    3. Click here, contact Apple, and wait for a response.
    4. Buy them.

  • Will authorizing my computer with another account mess up my iTunes?

Before I had my own apple account I used my dad's. I still have a lot of the songs I purchased from his account on my iTunes, but if I were to try to play them a message pops up that asks me if I want to authorize my computer to play it. Should I try to authorize it? Will that mess up my iTunes? Or should I just not bother and delete the songs?

You can authorize.  Just make sure you have downloaded anything from your new account you have not that you might want in the next 90 days.  This wis only an issue with re-downloading items.
iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 and - Manage your associated devices in iTunes - http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204074 -  In connection with, "When you turn on iTunes Match, Family Sharing, or Automatic Downloads, or when you download past purchases on an iOS device or computer, that device or computer becomes associated with your Apple ID." • I have preordered music and went to download it but i cannot do so as i get a error message stating that my iphone is assosiated with another apple ID? can you help with this?

    Hello,
I have pre-orded some music and i ahve gone to downlaod them today but my phone is stating that it is associated with another Apple ID and have to wait 49 days.
Can someone please assist with this as i want my purchases.

    Hi Jaycott24,
If you are using multiple Apple IDs, there are limits on how often a device can change associations for things like downloading purchases (which is slightly different from authorization for things like playback). You may find the following article helpful:

  • Why does iTunes Match download songs that I skip?

I haven't seen this question posted yet, but feel free to direct me to any pertinent posts.
I've been using iTunes Match for the last couple days, and all in all I really enjoy the service. There is one issue that I've yet to see addressed on these boards yet though; why is iTunes Match downloading songs that I skip? I listen to all my music in random, so occasionally there will be a song I just don't want to hear at the moment. I assumed that if I don't listen to a song completely that it would not be downloaded to my device. Not true apparently. I was able to use about half a gig of data in a few hours just by skipping songs. Every song that was skipped, even if I didn't hear a single second of it, was downloaded (at an average size of 5-8 MB). I sincerely hope this is just a bug and not a 'feature'.
Any insight on this would be appreciated.

I have noticed this too. I filled up my phone VERY fast yesterday.
and deleting is not easy, lots of left swipe DELETE action, took a while.

  • ITunes match playlists across multiple devices

my wife has a PC (due to business reasons), my kids each have an iMac, we all have iPhones.  we all use a single "household" apple id so that as my children begin buying more things we'll be able to track their purchases.  if i sign up for iTunes match, I understand that all those devices can be registered to the single iTunes match account, but I'm wondering if the four individual users (using the one apple id) will be able to create their own playlists using iTunes match.

    Hi,
Yes, you can create playlists on each computer. However, a playlist created on one machine will appear on all machines.

I have set up iTunes Match on only 3 devices (my Windows 7 desktop and 2 iPhones) and am now trying to authorise my new Windows 8 (Toshiba) laptop but I keep failing to authorise the laptop using my one-and-only Apple ID. Does anyone have advice to solve this problem?!

Hi all.  I can’t tell you how to solve your iCloud 3.x issues.  Heck, I don’t think they’re even solvable.
But if you had a previous version of iCloud that was working correctly then I can definitely tell you how to solve the “iCloud Photo Stream is not syncing correctly to my Windows 7 PC” problem.  …without even a re-boot.
Log out of iCloud 3.0 and uninstall it.
Open My Computer and then open your C:\ drive.  Go to Tools/Folder Options and click on the View tab.  Select the “Show hidden…” radio button and click on OK.
    Open the Users folder.
    Open your user folder
    Open ProgramData (previously hidden folder)
Open the Apple folder – not the Apple Computer folder.
    Open the Installer Cache folder
In Details view sort on Name
Open the folder for the newest entry for iCloud Control Panel 2.x – probably 2.1.2.8 dated 4/25/2013
Right click on iCloud64.msi and select Install.
When finished, the synching between iCloud and your PC will be back to working perfectly as before the 3.0 fiasco.  The pictures will be synched to the same Photostream folder as before the “upgrade”.  Now all you need to do is wait until Apple/Microsoft get this thing fixed and working before you try the 3.x upgrade again.
I think the iCloud 3.0 software was written by the same folks who wrote healthcare.gov with the main difference being that healthcare.gov might eventually be made to work.
For those of you who hate to go backwards, think of it as attacking to the rear.  Which would you rather have, the frustration of no synching or everything working on an older version?
    Good luck…

  • ITunes match remove music from device after period of time?

    Hi
I've been having a problem with iTunes match where it seems to remove copies of my music from my iOS devices (iPhone 4s and iPad 2) every so often (seems to be about every 90 days). I've noticed though that any songs I bought off iTunes on the device or have downloaded from the purchased section off iTunes are not deleted. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to turn it off so files are kept?
    Thanks :)

If that is on, I highly recommend looking at th KB article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4054
    Specifically:
Make sure iTunes Match is turned on.
Please see this article for information about turning on or adding a computer or device to iTunes Match.
If iTunes Match is already enabled on your computer or device, try turning iTunes Match off and then on again.
On your Computer choose Store > Turn Off iTunes Match, then Store > Turn On iTunes Match.
On your iOS device tap Settings > Music > iTunes Match Off, then Settings > Music > iTunes Match On.
And sadly, you apparently can delete a song from Match from your phone.
I am sorry, but no, you can't. If that were true, you would no longer see the song in your music library on your computer, and it would most likely be gone forever. The only way to remove an item from iTunes Match:
To delete an item from iCloud in iTunes
From a computer with iTunes Match enabled, open iTunes 10.5.1 or later on your computer. You can download the latest version of iTunes here.
Click Music on the left side of iTunes.
Select the item you would like to delete. Right-click the item and then choose Delete.
You will be asked to confirm this action.
If the item you want to delete exists in iTunes on your computer as well as in iCloud, click the checkbox to also delete the item from iCloud.
Match is a train wreck. They need to make it work simply and intuitively.
I don't disagree with you on this.

  • TS4124 What causes iTunes Match, on an iOS device, to lose the cloud icon next to each song?

What causes iTunes Match, on an iOS device, to lose the cloud icon next to each song. On my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S one cloud shows up for a whole album to tap and download a whole album but the ones next to the songs are no longer there. No songs will delete from my phone once downloaded from the cloud by sliding my finger to the left over the song and tapping delete. Instead it just plays the song when I try to delete it. To delete my music from my device I have to go in to settings and delete all the music. This worked fine for the first week and then one day the cloud status next to each undownloaded song disappeared and started doing this.

Try sync Music from iTune to your iPad again.

See this article about troubleshooting the error message regarding access privelages.  It may be preventing your iTunes library from being able to save/retain music you have recently imported to it, which may explain why no new content is being added to your device.
