No matter how many times I provide my Keychain Password, the pop-up window keeps coming back. Seriously annoying...I'd rather not use Keychain. Any way to just turn this crap off?

Call them up anf you cancell your Data plan. If you sold the iPad you should have done this before hand. Otherwise you are basically paying for the other persons Internet access.

Try running Keychain Access/First Aid and resetting the original keychain.

How to I get my Mac to stop deleting the pictures off of my phone that I sync to the computer?

When I first uploaded pictures to my Mac from my iPhone, it asked me if I wanted it to delete the pictures off of my phone as they uploaded, and I said yes.Now, every time I upload pictures, all the pictures from my phone get deleted as they sync onto the computer. I cannot figure out how to stop this and IPhoto does not give me the option to change it. I want to be able to sync the photos to my computer without them being deleted from my phonee. Can anyone help me?

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7 or later: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

How do I get my mac to stop accessing the wrong version of the program?

When I got my iMac, I also got Works '06 and have been quite satisfied with it. I only use Pages, but when I upgraded iLife, there was a try out program of Works '08 and I thought I would give it a look see for Keynote. Unfortunately because it appears to be an LE program, I never really got into it and it just sits there. Only problem is if I happen to open the program be pulling up a recent document rather than starting from the applications. Then '08 is opened and I don't notice until I try to print and am informed that I am not allowed to do that. I moved '08 to trash, but when testing to open Pages with a document, told I couldn't do that because the app was in the trash. How can I eliminate '08 so that my docs don't look for it?

Welcome to Apple discussions.
If you saved any of the documents using Pages '08, then those docs will only open in '08. What you need to do with them is open them in '08, then do a Save As. At the bottom of the Save As dialog, you'll see an option to save as iWork '06. Choose this option. Once you're sure you've done this with all affected files, drag the '08 folder to the trash, then empty the trash. From now on, all Pages files should open in '06.

Ask anything, delete email, close a window, etc. and it constantly asks for confirmation. Any way to remove that?

Confirmation of what command are you referring to?
You can set the mail preferences so that trash is not stored in the trash, but deleted immediately.
Most apps have preference settings to not ask for confirmation, such as Trash. Have you looked carefully at the preferences?
Which windows ask you for confirmation requests when closing? Are you referring to 3rd party software? Also closing is not the same as terminating.
Safari and FireFox only ask for confirmation, not when closing a window, but when closing the app, and then, only if more than one tab is open.

Tried to update an app and it asked for the password to my sister's Apple ID. I then checked to see whose Apple ID was logged in, in settings and it said that I was logged in. How do I get the app store to ask for MY Apple ID, not my sister's?

Tried to update an app on my phone but when it asked me to give the password for my AppleID, it was asking for the password to my sister's AppleID. I went to setting and down to itunes&app store settings and checked which AppleID was logged in, but i found that it was my AppleID that was logged in, not my my sisters. I then tried logging out and logging back in again but the app store, regardless of this, still asks me for my sister's AppleID and I don't know her password...How do I get the app store to ask me for MY AppleID password, not my sister's?

If this app was bought by your sister with her Apple ID, only her ID can update the app.

Hey there tjbliven,
It sounds like you are not able to use the dictation feature of iOS 8, becuase the microphone icon is missing. It seems to me like Siri may be turned off, which would cause the icon to not be there:
Siri settings - iPhone
To set options for Siri, go to Settings > General > Siri. Options include:
Turning Siri on or off
That should get the dictation feature back for you.

My iPad2 works great now after IOS 8.1 Update
I did my iPad2 update thru iTunes on my iMac and it was sucking the iMacs memory very low during the update. Safari froze before loading the first web page and I did a hard boot and went fishing as I saw where it was going to take a long time to recover. When I tried again it wasn't quite right and then did one more hard boot and then did a Reset by going to General-Reset-"Reset all Settings" and it works real well now without loosing any data and in-home wi-fi clocks at 17Mbps download. Probably like most of you I’m sticking with OSX 10.9.5 Mavericks as it gets the job done very nicely and don’t need all that extra fancy stuff that probably will slow things down.

What can I say, I am a massive fan of your work. I have totally bought into your brand....
My problem is I don't want to use microsoft software on my gorgeous shiny mac, or any of my apple products for that matter. The issue is I don't appear to have any choice if I want to communicate professionally with the rest of the business world.
I love the new mac mail in OS X Lion, but when I send an email to an outlook user it looks like Johnny age 5 composed it.
I'm not asking for much from you IT giants, why can't you get together and agree on a code/platform/whatever it needs to make emails (which in my opinion don't appear to be the most complex of documents) backward compatable. Nearly everyone has an email signature with some text and a small graphic, what's so hard about having the end user display that correctly?
Then there is iWork, again a lovely product to work in, you could argue not quite as powerful as excel, but it works. Albeit you can't lock documents etc when sending them to 'PC users'
When are we likely to see a change?
All I want is to use my mac and software specific to it without having to subscribe to the awful giant microsoft.

any help would make me happy. As it stands now from looking on the web it can't be deleted but making sure before i return this ipod touch. I wan't a clean item the way I wan't it and not how they want it. Like I do not need Itunes and App Store on this ipod because I use my computer only to shop, So many things i like out of the ipod and I am sure lots more people also would like a cleaner ipod/phone or what ever.
