Help! I somehow have inadvertently signed up for an app (Candy Crush) and I routinely get a .98 charge from iTunes. How do I stop future charges to my credit card?
I THINK I have solved the problem. Can't be 100% because I don't want to try a restore. At least the Apple home page lites up correctly with quicktime now. It hadn't in the past.

Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.
If its not in your purchase history, you should report it to your credit card company instead. -
okay so i updated itunes and now it wont let me sync anything it keeps giving me that "you can only be synced with one computer at a time erase and sync" but this is the only computer ive ever used!!! pleeeease help!!

In the past couple of weeks, every time I launch Firefox, a full-size pop-under ad is also launched, regardless of what site I'm browsing.
The original ad was for a You Tube survey, and contains a link to coupondropdown.com, where there's a menu option for uninstalling. The uninstall instructions don't make sense, they don't mention what ad-on is controlling the ads, and I can't work out what's responsible for the ads from my very basic range of ad-ons.
The reason I'm writing is that the ads have progressed from annoying but harmless, to dangerous. The ad today was designed as a warning pop-up, text reads, "Threat Detected: Immediate Action Required. Fatal Registry Error ... click "Repair All" to eliminate all possible threats and clean your PC". I have screenshots of all the above.
I'm worried that another user, my son or mother, might take this warning seriously and install malware by accident. What can I do to prevent these ads? I expect this type of malware advertising on dodgy websites, but I'm getting them when I try to access hotmail, the news, etc, so it's not the website that's causing them.Found the source using Microsoft Safety Scanner on a full scan. The culprit was a Trojan:Win32/Sirefef!cfg

Your post indicates you are the operating system on your Mac is 10.5.8
If that is correct, you will need to update to at least 10.0.6 in order to use the Mac App Store and redownload your purchased apps.

Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.

For the other "problem", go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPod....automatically syncing. -

In terms of a refund, what does it say on the app's description page in the store (a lot say that refunds aren't given) ? Apple could not tell you who else might be using your credit card, so there's no point in trying to contact them. All they could discuss with you is your own iTunes Store account, and if there's nothing in your purchase history, the charges almost certainly aren't coming from there. Again, you should take this up with your bank/credit card company and report these charges as fraudulent. They probably will cancel your card and issue you a new one.

iPads are devices and not PCs, so it needs a functioning relationship with a PC to work.
Download iTunes onto your PC, then connect your iPad to that PC. That should get you started. -
