If you don't have access to your computer's iTunes then you view a cut-down version of your purchase history (the last 90 days) via http://reportaproblem.apple.com - you can't see from your purchase history how an item was billed, so if you have also used iTunes gift cards then you won't be able to see what they were bought.

How do I verify a purchase in itunes when trying to rent a movie via apple tv?

I have simply re-entered my credit card data after making the movie selection. It is a big nuisance to pull out the card and enter the numbers etc. including the 3 digit code. There must be a way to save the data for the Apple TV, but I have only had it for a few days and haven't figured it out.

  • HT204088 How do you report a problem with a purchase you did not authorize?

I have some unauthorized charges and when I click on "report a problem" on the bottom of the purchase history, it renews the page with "report a problem" next too all the purchases. When I click on one of those, it just takes me right back to the iTunes home page. Does anyone know how to do this please?

  • HT204088 How to obtain an app purchase refund from the iTunes Store?

I paid for an app which provides additional templates for Pages for iPad including envelopes of various sizes.  When I downloaded and opened the app I found all the envelope templates were for U.S. standard sizes.  As I live in England and use European standard envelopes, this was useless to me.  The developer confirmed they did not cover European sizes and that this was not stated on his app site, and suggested I apply for a refund from the iTunes Store.  I did this via the 'report a problem' facility but the instant response was that they had noted the problem but suggested contacting the developer, which, of course, I had already done so.  As I'd reported on this app purchase, I found I could not go further on the iTunes Store site.
If anyone can tell me how to reapply for a refund I'd be grateful.

You can not cancel a purchase. In the iTunes Terms & Conditions it states: "All purchases are final".

My son is 9 and purchased an app twice how do I reverse it and he purchase an app for 9.99 how do I put parent authorization before any purchases.

You can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
Dependind upon what version of iOS that you have on your iPad your may have a Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password setting that you can set to 'Immediately' (the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need re-entering). You can also prevent in-app purchases via the Restrictions screen.

  • How to protect against unauthorized purchases?

Ok, I figure that somebody hacked into my itunes account and bought themselves some apps emptying my account down to $1.32.
I've already changed my password so the (insert appropiate profanity) can't do it again easily. I have already contacted support and changed my password.
Untill now I have puchased recharge cards and redeemed these, I don't have a credit card entered on my itunes account. Im not too worried about loosing $17 odd, im more concerned about trying to stop it happening again. Obviously if I buy another recharge card and put more money into my itunes acocunt, some (insert another profanity) can hack in again and help themselves to more apples. ;-)
So, is there another more secure method of buying tunes from itune? I feel uneasy loading a credit card number into itunes now as hackers could get access to my c/c number when they hack into itunes again.
    Any suggestions?

Honestly, I've never used the recharge cards. I'm guessing either the hacker did it by typing in a guessed code that happened to be the same one on the back of your card or that you were phished. Apple may have been right and just didn't explain themselves. Most passwords are stolen these days by phishing scams where you click on a link that seems fine on the surface, but really isn't. This gives access to the hacker to see your password the next time you sign into your accounts. Double check that your computer wasn't phished by using google to find for more info. You may want to run your anti-virus (most can check for phishing too, but check with your program's company), but the best defense in stopping it is to change any account passwords you may have including iTunes, your e-mail, bank account, etc. Even if it doesn't seem like anything else is wrong with your other accounts, it's better to change the passwords and be safe. Just be sure your new password isn't easily guessed (ie: using your b-day, a name of a loved one, etc.) -- the best passwords include a combination of letters and numbers -- even a symbol like a # or % would add to the security! You can even use Google to look up ways of creating strong passwords that you'll easily remember.
Apple should be willing to credit your account for whatever was spent. I think they usually do this if you ask, and don't be afraid to threaten that you won't use iTunes anymore for purchasing stuff -- but I believe that all you need to do is ask them and explain that you didn't authorize the purchases. They should even be able to track, more or less, where the purchase was made (ie: city, country, etc.) through the computer hacker's IP address. which may help prove that you didn't make the purchases. Be sure to tell them that nobody has access to your account other than you.
Personally, I use a credit card with iTunes. With a CC, no matter what happens, if Apple is unwilling to refund the stolen purchases for some reason, then it can always be disputed with your credit card company as a stolen purchase (which will let you get a new card number, peace of mind, plus you'll get your money refunded). I think it's a much safer option than the recharge cards.
I hope this info helps and that you get your money back!

  • HT204088 How to view in-app purchases

Is there a way to view in-app purchases?
iTunes only shows music and movie purchases.

All purchases are considered final, but you can try contacting iTunes support explain what happended and see if they will refund or credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
To try and stop it happening again, on your iPhone you can set Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password to 'immediately' (the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need to be re-entered), and you can also turn off in-app purchases via the Restrictions screen.

  • HT204088 how can i report a problem?

On the 25th of Dec. 2012, I bought a MetalStorm,Large pack of coins and a widget, costing £6.99 and £0.69
making a total £7.68. Summary below:
    Date: 25/12/12
    Order i.d: MGFL4Y15GY
    Receipt No: 172043936758
    Amount: £7.68
I was was charged for a second purchase, which I had no knowledge about, could you please tell me what's going on?
    Below are the purchase details:
    Date: 01/01/2013
    Order i.d: MGFL55NT4B
    Receipt No: 110044540501
    Item: MetalStorm, Large pack coins
    Amount: £6.99
Unfortunately, the receipts are conflicting when I checked my purchases on iTunes; moreover I didn't order anything on the date (01/01/13)  in questions. The amount, however was already taken from my bank account!
    Pls investigate!
    Thanks.

  • HT204088 how to stop payment for purchases which is not of quality

i have paid susbcription for fring 6 times by mistake because it is not working in iphone 4s ios 6.pls advice. i want to stop payment made through itunes

    Hi,
First and foremost let me advice you to be very careful while doing this.
    For Rescheduling
RSPC> chain > Goto > Planning view and
click on Execution tab > select > Remove from Schedule and then in Maintain variant of start process reschedule for the day you require it to run.
    For terminating active chain
You can start from SM37, find the process WID/PID then go to SM50 or SM51 and kill it. Once its done come back to RSMO and check the request, it should be red but again manually force to red and save by clicking on the total status button in the status tab. This shuld ensure that the process is killed properly.
The next step will be to go to targets that you were loading and remove the red requests from those targets.
Note: For source system loads you may have to check if the request is running in the source system and kill if needed and pull it again.
But for BW datamart delta loads u may have reset the datamarts in case u are going to pull the delta again.

  • HT3702 unauthorized purchase

How do I report unauthorized purchases?

If these charges are being made to a credit or debit card, the most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company or bank and report the unauthorized charges. That company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle.
    Regards.

  • My Account Has Been Hacked/Unauthorized Purchases

Hello all, I'm hoping that you can help me with my problem.
I discovered earlier this week that my Apple iTunes account had been hacked.  Unfortunately, whoever hacked my account changed my account information and purchased $100 in gift cards.  Luckily, for whatever reason the charges haven't yet (fingers crossed) appeared on my debit card statement.  Regardless, I have been trying to contact Apple since Tuesday to no avail.  I have not been able to uncover an iTunes customer support telephone number (I may be an idiot, but I looked for about 1.5 hours and didn't find one, only numbers for placing orders, etc.).  Instead, I've read that I should use the "Report a Problem" button on the "Purchase History" screen in iTunes.  I would be more than happy to do this, IF IT WAS POSSIBLE!  Sadly for me, the grey arrow circle is not available next to the order, so I am unable to report it.
I visited apple.com and was overjoyed to find an e-mail form to report unauthorized purchases with.  I filled it out and received an automated reply which said to expect a reply within 24 hours.  24 hours came and went and I hadn't received a reply, so I sent another e-mail yesterday afternoon.  This is actually humorous because on the second automated reply, it said to expect a response within 48 hours.  Maybe they are really busy right now?
I haven't used my iTunes account since I discovered the unauthorized purchases as I'm not sure how Apple deals with these situations.  I've left my account the way the hacker left it (with his name, address, etc.).  This is becoming quite annoying to me as I would like to download some new apps.
Is anyone out there dealing with the same issue?
    Thanks for your replies...

Hey folks, this just happened to me too... Looks like purchases happened yesterday and ran up some gift cards, but on the penny of someone elses account information and credit card info.  Pretty crazy too, just sent an email and hoping to get this cleared up for my sake and whoever was charged.  (I doubt they meant to charge 100 bucks in gift cards to someone named Ruth)
In a crazy way I'm glad I'm not the only one this has happened to...  Sorry that this happened to you guys...
