Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then you could try deleting it from your iTunes library and then redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

I'm having the same problem. The book downloaded in iBooks on the computer, but not on the iPad. It seems to be stuck. When I try "Edit" in purchased books, I can't select the book that hasn't completely downloaded. I've tried synching manually, deselecting it, reselecting it, but nothing works. He meant, do you have a system backup via Time Machine, Carbon Copy Cloner, etc.? That's the shortest way to restore your complete system and data when (not if) your hard drive dies.

How do you redownload purchased songs from iTunes?

iTunes Match has completely bollocked up my iTunes linrary. Many of the albums have double entries—one that is in iCloud to be downloaded (a little cloud with a downward pointing arrow) and a duplicate that is on my computer but not in iCloud (a little cloud with an 'x' in it.) I've found that the only way to 'fix' this and not have every song play twice is to delete the one that isn't in iCloud. To delete the one in iCloud would prevent it from appearing on my other devices.
iI have hundreds of songs im my library, so this has been an enormous task. There are several albums that I've purchased in the iTunes Store that have either missing songs or duplicates. I decided that, rather than futz around with them, I'd delete the entire album from both my library and iCloud and the redownload the purchased album.
I've tried to follow the instructions provided by Apple. I go to the iTunes store and click on purchased items, it displays the albums I've purchased. However, in one case, when I click on download all songs, it only download 3 out of a dozen. How do I get the entire album to download?

Nope, it was a Verizon Wireless Store. I went in there in the first place because I trusted the Company for their professionalism, but I've been let down badly. I posted my story on here because I'm hoping to be able to get the attention of someone from Customer Service. It seems like the only way you can actually speak with a live person who knows what they are doing, is when you stop paying your bill on time. After you pay your bill, they transfer you to a poorly trained "rep" that has no authority to handle anything important. I'm actually a pretty patient person, but when it takes someone over 45 min mostly just to keep me on hold, and then tell me they can't help me, I'm not really impressed with their idea of customer service.

So when I connect the shuffle to the computer it shows up in itunes. I can click on it and it takes me to the summary page with several tabs (music, podcast, etc), but I can't seem to figure out how to see what songs I have uploaded to the device? You need to click the small arrow on the left hand side your iPod's device name in the left hand pane of iTunes as seen in this photo (in this case the name of the iPod is in fact iPod ). Doing so will open up a small menu underneath.

How can I remove a song that failed in download

I was trying to download this song on my iPhone 4S and it failed I have been trying to remove it so I can start over again and it won't let me delete it from iTunes download part and cause of that now I can't even download anything else on my iPhone or iPad.
Just wanted to know if anyone knows how I can delete it so I can download other things from iTunes or App Store
