I have an IPhone 4. Took a "trial subscription" (1 month) to the Wall Street Journal. I don't wish to continue and, as my subscription ends on March 23rd, the notice I received was I needed to cancel the subscription. However, when I went to the IPhone site, it only showed I had a 1 month subscription & a 1 month renewal of $12.95. Nowhere was there something that said, "Cancel." What do I do?

On the Wall Street Journal website, I am not able to print out of the print format. Never had a problem before with this.

I click on the print icon under an article in the Wall Street Journal. A new window opens with the article in print format. When I print, I get blank paginated pages equaling the length of the article. On the top left hand corner of the page will appear the title of the article; on the top right hand corner will appear the web address of the article; on the bottom left hand corner will appear the pagination; and on the bottom right hand corner will be the date and time of the printing. This is just how any article would print; the only difference being that I'm not getting the content of the article printed.

I don't have a WSJ account to test... Here is some general advice:
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
This will open a window listing the site's cookies, which you can remove individually.
Then try reloading the page and logging back in. Does that help?

Of course I have checked all the cursor presets but nothing seems to help. My OS is Windows7.

Have you tried resetting Preferences?
A logical next step would be to reset your Preferences.
To reset Preferences:
If Photoshop is already open on your screen, close it (Quit). Then hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and start Photoshop.
A dialog box will pop up asking if you want to delete the existing Preferences file (the "Settings"). Click Yes in the dialog box. The existing Preferences file will be scrapped and a new one will be created.

Does a student subscription to the Wall Street Journal include iPad access?

I am considering getting a subscription to the WSJ. The student version says it includes the print version, online version, and mobile version. But the WSJ differentiates between mobile phones and tables. The WSJ call line didn't seem to know whether the student subscription includes iPad access. Does anyone know whether iPad access is included in the student subscription?

Well, as a student I can see why you are confused.
The iPad App for the WSJ is free. Once it's downloaded and installed on your 'pad, you can log in using your regular login information for the online version. Frankly, I think looking at the WSJ on their website using Safari is better, but that's just me.
Here's what I suggest. Order the student subscription, then download the WSJ iPad app and try it. Worst case for you is that it doesn't work with your student subscription, in which case you can simply use your subscription in Safari. Problem solved!

I know you are a fan of Apple products (as am I). There is a flaw in the new release of iTunes 6. If you upgrade from a prior version (as I did last night), you lose all of the “personalizations” to your music library. Playlists, playcount, comments, ratings, et cetera – all gone. I lost dozens of playlists and all my edits to individual songs that allowed me to create those lists.
Not a very user-friendly way to upgrade - and one (with 3,000+ songs on the iPod) that will take me hours/days to recover from.

The installer did not make copies - according to someone else, that is a feature that hasn't been there since V5 came out.
I agree (in hindsight, now of course) that I should have made copies of the files.
I'd also suggest that the installer should have prompted me to do so, given the nasty consequences that resulted.

My phone is not jailbroken. I don't know what you mean about hacked. Maybe it is hacked? This is what is happening: About three times over the past few months I've noticed that my phone while "off" will come on (light up) and the screen shows an arrow towards the bottom; an arrow such that you would see on various "players" in order to "play" video or audio, I've searched my phone and cannot find any app that produces this particular screen though. Once I pick up the phone when this screen myseriously appears out of nowhere and press anything, it goes away and goes to the standard "slider" front page to unlock the phone.
