Launch iTunes then select iTunes Store from the source list left side of the window.
Click Sign In on the right side of the window just above Quick Links.
Now click your account name.
In the next window click See All to the right of Purchase History. -
When I go to About This Mac and click on Storage it shows 421.93GB as Other. This only leaves 46.85GB of 499.25GB free. How do I find out what this "Other" is so I can remove the stuff I don't need?
What kind of use do you make of your MBP? A lot of photo or video? If so, you may be storing a lot of large files. Look at Finder and see what the file system looks like. Do you have large libraries of data files associated with applications?
You may want to think about an external hard drive to use for backups and data storage, you can point applications to the external drive as the default storage location.

I bought their Mercury Elite Pro 2 TB dirve last September and set it up to use part for Time Machine backup and part for other work space. Setup with Disk utility into two partitions is very quick and easy. Just remember to format as Extended Journaled with GUID partition table. Setting the partition sizes is by using a braphical image on screen in DU so it is like falling off a log, so easy. -

When a vi hangs...how do I find out what it is waiting for?
I have a vi. It is "waiting for front panel activity". I cause some front panel activity by pressing a control...and the vi functions. I then press the same button again and the vi hangs, the front panel does not respond to any mouse activity. When I run the highlight execution function it shows that the case controled by the value change of the control executes to the end in the true case, but then there is no further action anywhere on (in) the vi.
How do you find out what the vi is waiting on to proceed, or which element "has the ball" so to speak.

Stopped Humming for a while.If you have event structures, you usually have no longer any need for "wait for front panel activity". This was more of a cheap bandaid solution before the introduction of the event structure.
Many front panel operation don't need to trigger any events or do anything, so spinning the "wait for activity loop" everytime something is clicked is a total waste of resources.
You should create events only for things that really do something while other controls (e.g. configuration) don't need to be serviced by any event. The control will keep the data until it is needed by the code.
Here is an example:
You need to set aquisition parameters (rate, # of points, etc.) then press a button to start acquisition. None of the paramter settings need any events or need to spin any loops. Once start is pressed, their last settings will get read from the terminal anyway if the code is layed out correctly. And so on....

For things such as apps, music etc you should have received email receipts from the store. -
I turned the iPhone on to find out that there's a lock with a circle with an arrow arroubd it! Can any one out there give me any advise on just how to resolve this issue?

How can I find out what account was used for a Game Center ID?
I have multiple iPhones in my family. I have an Apple ID with a Game Center account.
My son also has a phone with a Game Center account.
I recently swapped phones around when I got the iPhone 4S. Also, we upgraded all of the phones in the house to iOS5.
I think as part of that process, all of the previous log in info was wiped.
Now, my son wants to log back in to his Game Center account, but we can't figure out what Apple ID we used?
I've tried the find my Apple ID links with no avail.
I know what his Game Center handle is... is there a way to track it via that ID?

I have a 5th gen 32gb iPod that I use only for music. Usually I update it via wi fi but it recently updated to the new IOS 8. Now it is saying there is limited space capacity for the music because there is 18.85 gb of used space. I don't have any apps or features on the iPod and all the options such as Siri or App store are turned off. I simply carry it in my car for travel music and use my iPhone for all other business that would need apps/etc.
I reset back to the factory settings and did not link back to the iCloud so it did not "reset" the old copy if it was corrupt. My iPhone has a ton of music plus apps, contacts, etc and does not show this same type of memory usage. Any idea what could be using so much and how to get rid of it??OTHER
Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.
An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

Contact Apple through iTunes Store Support, and explain that you have forgotten your 3 security questions, that you can reset your password, but doing so doesn't reset your security questions.
Explain that after resetting your password, you are still asked for the answers you have forgotten, before you can gain access to My Apple ID > Manage your account > Password & security, which is where you need to be to change your answers.
Remember, support will receive hundreds, if not thousands of requests per day, some from people trying it on, others with little explanation and others that are written extremely poorly. Take the time to explain your situation properly, be precise and concise, brief but comprehensive. -
My credit card has a charge on it for a particular day/time from APL *APPLE ITUNES. The charged amount and date/time of the charge do not ring any bells with me and I don't have kiddos that would be charging downloads or whatever. There's no way to find that. You can simply deauthorize all computer then authorize the ones you use.
