HT204088 Is the serial number of my iPod tracked when I download stuff from iTunes?

Does iTunes track the serial number of an iPod Touch when music or other apps are downloaded? Thanks.

- To find serial; number
- iOS: How to find the serial number, IMEI, MEID, CDN, and ICCID number
- However your concern "but I am afraid if I register it under the same icloud account it will delete the missing iPod.  " is unfounded. It will not delete the missing iPod. Just use the same iCloud ID.  To avoid confusion make sure the name of the device is different than the missing one
