HT204088 Print iTunes App purchase history

For tax purposes I need to print my iTunes App history. This can be viewed only as a series of small windows - I could make a snapshot of each one. Is there a more user friendly print version available as a complete list of purchases?

The process of searching iTunes Store purchase history is REALLY awkward. It seems designed to discourage customer inquiry or use.
See below a brief list of steps (seriously) I just worked through in order to save my 2014 iTunes Store purchase history:
Log into iTunes Store account
Navigate to Purchase History
Press Command-Shift-4 and select a screen capture of the list showing a few recent purchases
Click Previous or Next button (To see earlier purchases click Next, click Previous button to see later purchases. Really.)
Press Command-Shift-4 and select a screen capture of the resulting list
Repeat (8 times) until desired lists have been captured as screen shots (or until you walk away in disgust)
Then open all .png screen capture image files in Preview
Export all image files to .pdf
Open newly exported .pdfs
Combine .pdfs into one file (see Preview Help for this)
Click and drag .pdfs into a coherent order (suggest chronological order, but coherence is optional)
Save As... your combined .pdf to a location of your choosing (printing optional)
Log out of iTunes Store
I hope this was helpful for everyone. Have a swell day

You should have received emailed receipts for each item that you bought from the store. If you haven't got them then all that you can do is take screenshots of your purchase history.

  • Complete app purchase history

OK, stupid move -- I didn't have a backup of my apps and the iOS upgrade process failed (I think because it was upgrading iTunes at the same time).  So all my apps are gone and I have to redownload and reinstall them.  They're in my app purchase history but I had a lot of apps.  Each purchase might have several apps so the purchase summary line isn't long enough to show them all.  That means clicking on each one to see the list of apps included in that purchase.
Is there any way to list all apps that were purchased in one long list rather than by purchase?  Then I'd at least be able to capture the list and go through them one by one without having to be in my purchase history.
Or is there at least a way to capture the list of purchases?  Many do show all apps on the summary list since there were only one or two that day.  I've done screen captures but text would allow me to copy and paste into the search box in the App Store.
I know I'm in for a long task here just getting the apps back and then setting them up again.  I'm just looking for a way to at least make this part a little less painful.  Any other suggestions are most welcome.  Except telling me to read about backups and do it next time -- I've figured that one out already!
Actually, the reason for not syncing was that I don't want to sync music to the iPad.  I have a lot on the computer but I don't want to transfer it.  I suppose there's a way to do apps only -- and it's probably right where I'd easily find it.  I'll research it this time -- or if there's an article someone wants to point me to that'd be great.
    Thanks.
    Mike

You may have to make do with the purchase history as is.

  • Unable to view iTunes Store purchase history

    Hi All,
I'm unable to view my iTunes Store      purchase history. When I try to do so from within iTunes itself I am taken to a seemingly blank store page, which seems to have no content according to VOiceOver, Apple's built-in screen reader. I've previously done this without a problem, so am rather annoyed.
Is there any alternate way of requesting a refund? Could I call and do so?
    THanks!

You can use the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support (generally unless there is a problem with an item e.g. app doesn't work as described, film doesn't play etc. then purchases are considered final) : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

  • Where can I view in-app purchase history?

Hi! Where can I view my in-app purchase history? Will it be shown together with my iTunes purchase history? Just wondering because I might have accidentally purchased something from within an app and I'd like to know for sure.
    Thanks!

Log into your account in iTunes then go to purchases and look through your purchase history.

    You can't.
You can hide the purchases, but you have to do that on your computer using iTunes. You cannot do it directly on the iPad.

  • ITunes Store Purchase History Time and Date

Does someone know whether the iTunes store purchase History is set to the local time or a central time - some of the times of my purchases seem to be different to the time I recalled purchasing them. Also if it is set to local time does the time automatically change if you are travelling? Thanks heaps

  • I have one apple ID for multiple devices in my family.  I'd like to keep it that way for itunes/app purchases.  I would like a simple step 1, step 2, step 3 response on what I need to do to separate all other features like imessage, contacts, emails, etc.

I have been reasearching how to do this on the internet, but I haven't found an easy explanation yet.  My family is going crazy over each others imessages being sent to others in the family and not being able to use FaceTime because of conflicting email addresses.  I have read that if each person gets their own iCloud account, this would work.  However, I need to know what to do after I set everyone up with their own iCloud account.  Do I make that the default email address to be contacted or can they still use their hotmail email addresses.  Any help- with easy explanation- would be much appreciated!!

We do this in my family now.  We have one account for purchases, so it is used to share music and apps (I think that is in Settings/iTunes & App Stores).  Each iDevice has this configured.
Then, each of us has our own iCloud account that is configured under Settings/iCloud.  That then allows us to have our own Mail/Contacts/Calendars/Reminders/Safari Bookmarks/Notes/Passbook/Photo Stream/Documents & Data/Find My iPhone/and Backup.  That Backup piece is pretty sweet and comes in handly if you replace your iDevice.  You can just restore from it.
So we all share the Apple Store account but we all have our own iCloud accounts to keep the rest seperate or things like you mentioned are a nightmare.
In answer to what iCloud does for you: http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/
Think of it as an internet based ("cloud") area for all of those items listed in my response.  What you need to remember is photo stream only maintans the last 1000 pictures so don't count it as a complete backup solution for your pictures.  Even though I rarely sync with a computer these days, I do still try to sync my phone with iPhoto (I have an iMac) so that I have copies of all of my pictures.  1000 may not stretch as far as it sounds.

  • Help! I have a new iPhone 5s. My husband just lost his 4s, so I want to give him mine. Want to use same Apple ID so we both have access to itunes/apps purchases. Want to separate contacts, messages, mail, etc. I cannot change iCloud address.

Help! I have a new iPhone 5s. My husband just lost his 4s, so I want to give him my 4s. We want to use same Apple ID so we both have access to itunes/apps purchases. Want to separate contacts, messages, mail, etc. I cannot change iCloud address on 4s iPhone. Also, when I tried to change iMessage I got a message that if I deleted my id (which seemed to be the only way to get my husband's I'd there), I would not be able to receive iMessages on any device.
Would someone kindly tell me how to set up th 4s for my husband so that we can keep our info separate? It would be most appreciated! Thanks!!

    Hey Fagen!
You will want to see the following article for guidance on achieving the result you wish to achieve:
What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5661
I would just follow the instructions from this article to give your unused 4s to your spouse. Since you have already started using your 5s, you will still be receiving iMessages on that phone and will have no need to receive them on a device that has been replaced. Thanks for coming to the Apple Support Communities!
    Cheers,
    Braden

    Correct.

The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not inlcude synced media like apps and music. Those items should be in your iTunes library.
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • Itunes Free Apps Purchase History Deletion

I dont want my purchase history to show up for apps that are free and usually demos. I dont think it is neccessary to keep all the free apps i try or the demos i try. As part of privacy I sometimes dont even want to remeber about an app I tried because it was a horrible app to me.For purchases costing me money then I am fine with having those in my Purchase History but not the apps that are free. Can Itunes Do This?(this is one issue{problem]  I want fixed and for those who don't like this idea Itunes could give you option of having free apps not added or added to Purchase History)

Okay I just did thanks wasn't sure how to suggest that or request.I however did know how to request something on Itunes Store.

  • How can I print out specific purchase history from the itunes store?

    Hello,
I am having issues with ringtones,  and requested several refunds.  I went into my "ACCOUNT", selected "PURCHASE HISTORY", found the entries that showed my purchase and subsequent refunds but I can't seem to PRINT it.  When I go to the menu "FILE" and select PRINT it only gives me the cover page of my account info.

  • My findings on apps charged twice and iTunes account purchase history lost

I've just got permission from Rebecah, from iTunes support, to publish my findings, so it can be of help to others about POTENTIAL duplicated charges in iTunes Store.
First of all, as Rebecah adviced me, I have to say that, although she states "Apple doesn't know how I ended up with two accounts with the same email", I should note that it's my fault because I signed up with another account, as their records say.
    Now, to my findings:
    1) It seems after 9 responses I had from iTunes support about my request for help with a suspected issue affecting THOUSANDS (more?) users, Apple relies on the SAME SUSPECTED system, on the SAME DATA RESULTING FROM THE BUG REPORTED to test whether the bug exists or not.
Why? Because nobody checks or looks for an answer other than "it's your fault. The system says you have two accounts. Stop using one account (that you created)".
    2) I couldn't sign up with the same account. You couldn't. Try it by yourself. Rebecah knows that. She stated +"we can't see how the second account was created or why it occurred"+ but she wants me to note it was my fault, before I post (again) in the forums.
    3) I was advised/encouraged by iTunes support and iTunes application's new login window to use my email as the login, instead of the id. NOWHERE in the site/application says my new login will create a new user, losing my purchase history (money)
    4) My first post about the matter was removed, and there's no willing to find a fix. Not even a test to see if that can happen the way I say. Anyone with a free .mac account please try logging in with your non-mac email (the one related to your iTunes account) and let me know what happened with the purchase history.
My posts are shorter every time, for the sake of your search for help, because I'm closer to "you're wrong, shut up" and clearer like "I couldn't create two accounts with the same email". The reason why an issue that is making duplicated charges it's not solved yet… I can only GUE$$
Ask me for details and I'll try to use my best english to answer - and spanish too.

I have the same problem as well. I rented a movie a couple of days ago, it was downloading, but was taking longer than usual, so i canceled the download, just so i can continue it for the next day. The next day, I get the error when checking for downloads that Itunes is not available. hasn't worked since. I also tried purchasing a tv show today and got the 5002 error. It charged me twice as I pressed it twice since my balance didn't refresh 'til i bought it a second time..
