If you conact iTunes Support (Account Security Department) they may be able to assist you with have your old account reenabled, they will however need to verify you to your account for Security Reason, if they are unable to do so then they won't enable the old account for you, and unfortunately Winston Churchill is correct that any purchases made on the old account will not be able to be transferred to the new account. Is this temporary cache accessing my data when I play songs from it? As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm still able to listen to these songs even when my phone is in airplane mode and the download icon is still present next to said songs. This implies that the songs are already downloaded onto my phone even if I didn't opt to download them directly from the cloud -- they're on my phone because my phone was shuffling my library on a wifi network.

Suddenly receiving error 8003 when downloading updates for apps

Hello -
I've suddently started receiving error 8003 when attempting to download updates to some of my apps. I continue to be able to download other content - new music purchases for example - but not this these 16 updates. I'm running iTunes 10.5.2 on OSX 10.6.8.
Any thoughts on this situation are much appreciated.

Try deleting the partial cached downloads in the iTunes media folder.
That error is outlined here -> iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting

These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while accessing iTunes Store:
See iTunes 9: "One Moment Please" or "Error (-50)" message when accessing iTunes Store

Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:
Mac OS X:  ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads Note: "iTunes Media" may appear as "iTunes Music. Also, the tilde (~) refers to your Home directory.
Windows Vista:  \Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\

After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
Quit iTunes.

Hi guys, I was trying to download bioshock the game from the app store and it gets about 75% through and then gets an error message "mzm.nvyhpxhw.pkg could not be extracted". I have tried many times and the same thing keeps on happening, what should I do?

I am having the same problem with update of Motion 5 and FCPX yesterday got the same error invocation when starting to install although it dowloaded well.
This has nothing to do with developer's website since these two apps are solely Apple's yet the same or similar error occurs mine read like this......"The application could not be downloaded, an error occurred while running scripts from the package-----mzm.hfxomswf.pkg" this all has to do with the apple store that is full of bugs.
sometime it works, many times it does not work.

Why am I not able to download updates from App Store?

Hey, I have a problem with updates in the App Store. Now I see, I have an update for a game which calls Nyan Cat: Lost In Space. I have never heard about the game! When I want to update I see an e-mail [email protected] but I don't know it. I've never seen it before. I have read on the internet some informations about store hacking or something like that, so I exclude it absolutely! So could you help me, plese? (Sorry for my English)

Don't know anything about hacking. I just typed it into Google and there was more than a page of references to this situation, but none that I could see as a warning. Seems it is a glitch of some kind. I would delete ... unopened.

Cannot download update from App Store

The APP store is teling me I have one item to download, I try to do this and I get a message tellng me it is disabling my password.I then get a message saying there is an error at the APP Store (100) and to try later. I can still log into Itunes with my password despite being told its been disabled. Can anyone help?

Do you have the WSJ app?
Spent much of the weekend trying to fix same problem. Apple support were polite but couldn't help. Then stumbled across a note against the latest WSJ update to say there had been a bug preventing downloads.
Deleted WSJ app, rebooted iPad, and problem solved

Is this a second hand Mac? If so, you need to erase the Mac and install the version of OS X that shipped installed on the Mac from the factory. Then you set the Mac up as new with your Apple ID.

In the Finder do a Get Info on one of those files & the folder it's in, report what it says for privileges.

Unfortunately there's no way around this. you will need that password to update the apps. If he won't give it to you, then i'm not sure what to say.
You should have kept the account with the Apps you bought yourself.
Otherwise, as I said, delete the Apps, and buy them again.

It's something to do with the main user account (not iTunes account) on my Mac because I logged in with another account and it downloaded fine, I installed it on the HDD and even though the date in App Store was 16th October 2014, it is the full installer of 10.10.2.
To try to resolve this problem, I have copied the installer app elsewhere and deleted it but App Store still will not allow me to download it with my main user account yet just allowed me to update iTunes.
I had a brainwave last night that it might have been related to me changing the default downloads folder to one not on my boot drive (to save disk space on my main boot drive) but having changed it back, tried again, rebooted and tried yet again, deleted my App Store preferences. nothing has worked.

Are you listing the billing address for the card correctly? The address in the iTunes/MAS account must match the address on your bill exactly.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Different account appeared when download & update apps.

How come everytime I download new apps it will show Apple account "A" but everytime when I update the apps it will show Apple account "B"?

It's probably happening because you have one or more apps that were purchased with Apple ID B. Apps and their updates are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them regardless of the settings on your phone in Settings>Store. The only way to stop the prompt for ID B would be to delete the apps purchased with this ID from your phone.

That indicates that you have apps that need updating that were purchased with the account that comes up. When you have apps that need updating that were purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until all the remaining apps were purchased by one account.
You have to log into the account that purchased an app in order to update it.
